3rd Degree (Women's Murder Club)

There were definitely well scripted twists and turns. I sat down to read this morning and suddenly it was the afternoon. I inhaled this book. There ought to be a warning that reading Patterson may be bad for your ability to get chores done.

I admit that these are a guilty pleasure. After reading Step on a Crack, I about gave up on Patterson; I thought it was maudlin and that his writing was "lazy"...relying on too many characters he had used in the past. I actually think that having a co-writer makes these stories better. Although certainly not requiring much brain-power, they are just plain fun to read.

This series has become the most addictive thing I’ve had to read in a long time. My exchange daughter from Germany, & I started it when she was here, and still share it back & forth with each other.

These books just keep getting better, when you read the 1st to Die you just have to have the next 2nd Chance then the next and the next. they are Great. I love them all. You just have to read them and see for yourself, bet you can't lay it down.

Love the way James Patterson writes his books. I seem to buy his books and get so caught up in the story that I finish the book in just a couple of days and go out and buy the next book in the series!

My frustration was not paying attention to which paperback is larger, the "mass media" or the one simply marked "paperback". I got the smaller which I believe is called the "mass media" and wanted the larger. This was my only disappointment and it was my own fault by not taking the time to find out exactly what I was ordering before I placed my order. I enjoy murder mysteries, and this held my attention. I particularly enjoy the Women's Murder Club series because I can get to know the characters and know that they will be back in the next book in the series.

Five stars for another incredible story in this series. Patterson is a genius. Great book, great series. On to the 4th of July. Can't wait to get caught up in another great Women's Murder Club mystery thriller.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book and as usual with James Patterson, it was well written. Gave it a 5 star because of my personal interest in the book but having read several of his books recently, am giving this author rest because there is a certain similarity in all his books - this is natural, I suppose. Nevertheless, it is a good book to read.

This series has me handcuffed to my reader. I can't go anywhere without taking a least 5 minutes to read what the girls are doing. I get so engross in the story the outside world fades to black. Finished this book in two days now I'm just short of half-way on the 4th book.

I wanted to read the earlier books in this series before picking up the last one. The first two were really good and enjoyable. GLAD I did not start with this one becuase it would have been my last. It has taken me almost a week to read but I was determined to make it through.
