I'm probably really not going to say anything new to contrast all the other reviews of this book. It's a great work that is truly inspirational and offers, through a substantive narrative fiction, a justification for trying to be as awesome and happy as possible at all times. Definitely worth the read.

This little book is both a quick read and lingering meditation food. Even though it is quick to read the actual words, the ideas are deep and need slow rolling over in the mind, contemplation, journaling and more attention. It is filled with profound ideas, and I recommend it to the seeker of Truth.

Coalho really out did himself with this novel. It is very intriguing and a hot read. The underlying plot will leave the reader questions the grey area that exist in morals and ethics. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a fast paced, adventure with some romance on the side :0)

Paulo Coelho has a gift for bringing words to life. This is a fun read that you can read from daily or read several at a sitting. I suggest just one or two at a sitting as each one is rich with food for thought.

Outstanding book of wisdom. Simple yet profound parables and stories that inspire light over darkness, faith in times of doubt, and sense of Divine Grace in all of life. This book has become part of my daily devotion over time.

While there are enjoyable passages in Eleven Minutes, there are also superficial passages about female anatomy, the history of prostitution, and forms of sexual pleasure. I sensed that some of the research was lifted from Wikipedia.

The role of sex in a person's life is a principal theme. The book treats of desire, sexual arousal, and orgasm. Arousal and trance-like pleasure proceed from mere closeness and gentle touch; orgasm is achieved through gentle lovemaking, as well as from spontaneous, uninhibited forceful sex, and BDSM. Discovery of the clitoris and manipulation thereof are treated as revelation.

Eleven Minutes is, at heart, a love story. The reader is reminded (and not very subtly) that finding true love is a journey.

I really enjoyed The Alchemist. Eleven Minutes is not on the same level.

The book has many short teachings. Most of them are highly philosophical. You would like to think about each one of them for much time. For example, "The warrior of light makes a balance between solitude and dependence".

I simply love the concept. Just pick up the book when you need motivation in your life. You will feel much directional and motivated.

Believe in your faith, values, hopes and path. Learn to listen, not just hear the words. Think clearly before you act. And if you must act, do so without regret.

This is just a few things that this book has taught me as a "Warrior of the Light"

After readin the stories of Paulo Coelho, you can't really say a simple quote is as great...but sometimes that's all you really need to remind you of your excellence ... still, I'd rather read one of his wonderful adventures through the East and have this book alongside as downtime entertainment.

I would consider this book an "okay read". I could not relate to the author's thought process throughout much of the book. However, I did finish it - so I guess that should speak for some it's' entertainment value, although I don't think that was the intention.

The portuguese title is an homage to paulo although not his words. Paulo Coelho's stories make me proud and contented I have followed my dreams, and inspire me to reach for even more. This is a great book...don't recommend for your first Coelho read though. Try Warrior of the Light or The Alchecmist. Don't miss the epilogue of this book.

The book learn that prostitution leads yang lady to the happiness. 99% it's not, the real psychology of this subject is more complicated. In my opinion this book is just happy story which is not connected with real life

This book contains short narratives of the qualities of a Warrior of the Light- in other words, all of us who seek to be our most authentic selves. I reach for it when I need a moment of wisdom, insight, instruction. It is an mportant addition to any bookshelf that reflects a reader's spiritual quest.

the store garaciously sent another copy of this book for free to me after my first one had become lost in transit. I bought this as a present and it came in perfect condition as always!
I know he's going to love this, he loves Paulo Coelho and his favorite is the Alchemist, so this sounds like an amazing follow up book.

The Alchemist is one of my all time favorite books, so I had to invest in The Warrior of Light! Love this book and highly recommend it- its not a story as much as it is what it says it it- A Manual, filled with a lot of gems!

This is a really great book, after reading the Alchemist and following in love with Paulo Coelho's literature, i decided to go onto this next book. Luckily for me, his next book I picked up was also just as good as the Alchemist.
