Gave it as a gift to a new Grandma, and she loved it!

Would recommend this to anyone wanting to make the new Grandmother really feel special! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful!! The stories/poems are timeless! The games/activities are simple, creative and fun! Have given this book several times. Love it! (Don't forget to check out the "Grandparents" and/or "Grandfather" books also available--cute, cute!) I give this book to all prospective grandmothers. They always love it! I wish someone had given this book to me when I became a grandma. It is full of fun poems, stories, activities, and even recipes!

This is a great book - for grandparents it is somewhat nostalgic.

The artwork is great and it is helpful if you want to remember those old songs you used to sing to your kids. It even has recipes for the little ones. I'm sold on it.

I really wish there were some children of color in the book. It's a wonderful book, but when our children don't see anyone who looks like them it creates confusion and an inferiority complex. I will still use the book because there are no alternatives
