Horowitz's Eagle Strike is yet another one of his famous adventures of young Alex rider. Like his previous books, Eagle Strike is full of exciting and unexpected twists and turns.

In this exciting adventure, Alex age 14, is finally taking a vacation after working for British intelligence MI6, with his friend Sabrina Pleasure. While at his leisure, Alex spots one of his mortal enemies Yassen Gregorovich on a private yacht next to the beach. Alex makes it his business to find out what Yassen is up to. Coincidentally, Sabrina's father was involved in an "accident". As Alex tries to find the connection between these events, he stumbles upon a phone number that belongs to the multimillionaire vintage pop star / world activist / philanthropist Damian Cray. It is now up to Alex to convince the world that Cray is a madman bent on world destruction before time runs out.

Eagle strike is full of suspense from cover to cover . This is truly one of Horowitz's best novels in the Alex Rider adventures. This book also contains an exciting chapter of the next book in the series Scorpia which is the final book in Horowitz's teen spy adventures. I would recommend this book for teens ages 12-14.

This book was published in 2003 and was written by Anthony Horowitz. This is the third book in the Alex Rider series. The book Eagle Strike is an Alex Rider adventure. In this book Alex goes on vacation with friend. While hi is vacationing he spots Yassen Gregorovich. Yassen is a contract killer. Later that afternoon there is a big explosion. The explosion was a bomb aimed to kill Alex friend father. The authorities of the town say it was a gas leak but Alex knows Yassen was involved. Alex goes back to MI6 to try to ask them to help find out the truth. When they refuse to help he goes home mad because of he helped them three times and they won't help him once. Then he receives some stuff from Smithers so he knows he has one friend at MI6. Alex then links the explosion to an English pop star Damian Cray. Damian Cray gives millions of dollars to charities so no one believes him. Join Alex on this epic adventure to how he finds out what happened.

I like this book because it keeps your attention. There is always a thing happening in it. There is never a lot of talking. This book is action packed and once you start reading it you can't stop.

Anyone who gets bored reading this is a book for you. This book keeps your attention. Also there is not much large vocabulary in the book so anyone could read it. Anyone who likes and action packed story should read this.

Eagle strike captures the attention of anyone who reads it .The book is part of series the series contains five books. From the first sentence I read of the action packed pages I kept wondering what was going to happen next .I was glued to the pages every page is filled with suspense. It follows Alex Rider,a teenage secret agent on his third mission which takes on a wild adventure against a mad man Damian Cray who has a crazy plan to eliminate drugs and drug use.He is assisted by M16 the spy agency he works for .The takes place in modern times With all the high tech weapons and modern issues any regular fourteen year old teen would face.

Apart from every action filled page,it contains a great story line about Alex's past and family. Horowitz shows a lot of expression toward the main characters they are very detailed and there are no flaws everything fits like a big puzzle. Horowitz also describes all the points of interest like the Air Force One Jet he describes everything from the carpet to all the tech stuff like the computers.

Eagle Strike will really be liked by people who like adventure type books.

I would recommend it for kids age eleven through fourteen.

Have you read the Alex Rider series? Even if you haven't read the series this book is still easy to catch on to. This is the fourth book written Anthony Horawitz.
Alex is a fourteen year old boy who lives in England. Alex isn't like most kids because he works for M.I.6 (British Intelligence). In his previous adventures Alex was almost killed endless times. The story starts while Alex is enjoying his vacation in southern France with Sabina his girlfriend and her family. He then spots Yassen Gregorovich the assassin who killed his uncle, Ian Rider. Shortly afterward, a dreadful accident occurs where Sabina farther is almost assassinated when a bomb goes off. This puts a quick end to his vacation. When Alex discovers Yassen's cell phone has speed dial, he dials the number and hears the voice of super pop sensation Damian Cray. During his hunt Alex experiences everything form high-speed car chases to Biochemical Warfare. Will Alex bring down Damien or will he make himself look like a loser, keep reading to find out.
I recommend Eagle Strike for any one who loves action and lots of explosions. If you're between the age of 10-16 and like spy novels I recommend this book for you.

Eagle Strike is the perfect teen spy novel. Combining action across numerous European countries, celebrities who aren't what they seem, Air Force One, politics, and enough chase scenes to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire book, this is undoubtedly the best Alex Rider adventure yet.
Rider is holidaying in France with Sabina, his new best friend, and her family, when the man he fears most - Russian contract killer Yassen Gragorovich - shows up to make things interesting. Yassen seems to be uninterested in Alex, not even knowing he's in the area, but Rider being a suspicious kid cannot help but get in his way. After going out one day, he returns to find the house he's been staying at has been blown up, and Sabina's father in intensive care. This leads to the discovery of a strange plot involving a famous singer, Damien Cray, who has developed a world-beating video game system named Gameslayer.
This seems to be nothing more than a marketing move sure to pay off dividends for Cray, but the more Alex Rider delves into this Gameslayer and Damien Cray, who was on the end of a phone Alex called from France after the bombing, the more sinister Cray's part in the events becomes.
This leads to Alex travelling around Europe with his trusty guradian Jack in search of the truth and the bad guys, but the bad guys find him first. Rider is stuck in the middle of a plan with deadly consequences. The world's most powerful celebrity has control of the world's most dangerous weapons, and his intentions are unthinkable. A brilliant climax will have you on edge waiting to know how things work out. An explosive secret regarding Alex's history will also be unearthed!
A must read novel for fans of the series. If you haven't started the Alex Rider series yet, start now!!! Much recommended.

Eagle Strike

Anthony Horowitz wrote this book. Anthony likes to keep you on the edge of your seat, and you always want to read to find out what happens next. The book, Eagle Strike, is about a boy named Alex who is somewhat forced into being a spy, by taking his uncles spot .In the first three books he goes on dangerous adventures for MI6. In Eagle Strike, Alex spots an assassin that he has met before, on one of his missions, while Alex is on vacation. Alex found out whom the assassin is working for this time and tells MI6.MI6 doesn't believe Alex, because the man the assassin is working for is rich, nice, and a famous singer, Damian Cray. Alex investigates by himself. Alex has now been caught by Cray and taken a key that would later be used to launch nuclear bombs from Air Force One. Damian needs to get that key back so he kidnaps a close friend of Alex's, Sabina Pleasure. Cray takes the two on hi adventure to Air Force One.

The Alex Rider book was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like about the book is that the book was a litle unrealistic. It made it sound like the stuff Alex did was really hard but when he actuall did it, it was so easy. Sometimes it made Alex sound to smart and sometimes it made him sound to dumb. The gagets are pretty cool though. Like the bike and the bullet proof bike suit. My favorite part in the book Eagle Strike is the part were Alex was chased by the guys in black suit with machineguns. And I think the best gaget was the bike and the homing missles in the bike handles, and the springy seat thingy that came with a note that said that if Alex used that butten then he owed Smithers a new bike. If Alex didn't have a computer as brain that freuently turns on and off and that if it would sound more realistic I would really like it.

I really thought Eagle Strike was awesome (and that is saying someting coming from a 13 year old bookworm). I've read alot of books in my time, but this one really drew me in. Thet say you cant judge a book by its cover, but when I saw the f-14 tomcat and the computer readings, it really drew me in. Alex Rider is a teenage spt working for the brittish MI6. He is on vacation with a friend when he sees the one man he never wanted to see, Yassen Gregovich, a contract killer who is responsible for the death of his uncle, Ian Rider. Alex is caled by the MI6 to observe Yassen's actions, when the house he is staying in gets blown up, and it almost killed his friend's father. Alex also finds out about a rich madman who thinks he can save the world by blowing half of it up! I can't tell tou any more, or I might be charged with copying a book(i might tell you the whole story without knowing it). you will just have to read it yourself, I really think you will enjoy it!

I would recommend this book to people that love action and cliffhangers like when the book says, "In the far distance a fanfare sounded, followed by an echoing roar from the crowd. The bullfight had begun." I learned that no matter where you go, no matter how hard you try to get away from it, danger is always a-foot . It sticks near you and stays near you like a shadow. One of the things in this book that connected to my interests was the mind-bending action and how it just never ended. I never got bored! I just could not put this book down. It was like there was a magnetic pull between the book and my eyes. It was all because I could not stop reading on a cliffhanger. I had to know what would happen next! My journey to find the best book in the world has finally ended.

Alex Rider is on his 4th adventure in Europe. It starts when Alex is on a vacation with his girlfriend Sabina. When he's on the beach he sees his prime enemy Yassen Gregorovich. He wonders why he would be there so he decides to investigate. Once he's on their trail an absurb bomb goes off nearly killing Sabina's father. But why? He finds out why that happened and discovered that her dad had secret info and links to why Yassen is there. He figuers out that pop star Damain Cray has a plan to do something! To do what? Destroy the world like in the past? But why? You'll have to read it to find out what happens!

Anthony Horowitz is the author of this incredible series. I think that he does an excellent job of displaying adventure, horror, and in a way love. It's a great book that either gender will like. (Unless you have a weak stomach, hate good books and are in no mood for a thrilling adventure!)

This is one action packed adventure you won't forget. Alex is back at MI6 for the fourth book; Eagle Strike, of his four book series by Anthony Horowitz, one of the top writers in Great Britain.

Alex is back to stop the program Eagle Strike, but on his way he becomes a matador, a bullfighter. He also becomes a real target in a video game. He even evades people chasing him on a bike, through Amsterdam, plus more.

To see how he defeats the system read this five star book! Recommendations for this book are fourth through eighth graders, because this is a fairly long book with fairly hard words. Nonetheless, we think you would like this book almost as much as us, or even more. You don't have to read the first three, but it would enjoyable.

Alex Rider's most exciting mission, commences during her holiday in the South of France with his girl friend and her family, to the a mighty battle in the Prime Minister's aeroplane~Alex Rider, is once again determined to place his spying days at MI6 behind him, until he meets evil payed to kill, Yassen during his holiday in the south of France. From then on, Alex finds himself in the middle of a huge war, where a ruthless attack plunges his hosts into darkness. But MI6 never listen to him, especially when he tells them celebrity, Damian Cray may be the planner of this great and mighty attack.

Alex Rider's latest mission is one of the best in the series and has amzing characters and an intersting plot. Alex was once again brave and adventurous and this whole book was the bomb. It had attitude, plots, traps and murders and was everything that I dreamed it to be!

Ark Angel the latest book is soooooooooooo good!

In the book Eagle Strike, Alex Rider, a teenage MI6 agent, must save the world and his friend from the billionaire and pop star Damian Cray. Damian Cray is a humanitarian with a twisted view of saving the world from drugs. Damian Cray's plan to "save" the world from drugs by bombing all the major drug growing cities in the world with warheads, while killing thousands of innocent people at the same time. The most interesting part of the book is the climax, when Alex Rider has to stop the warheads that have already been fired off. There was no part of the book that was boring, though, because it always had a part that was exciting or riveting.

I would definitely recommend this book to others, especially teenagers, because they can relate to Alex's feelings. I don't think this book should be taught in school, though, because it has cuss words and there's more than enough violence in it.

I would give this book five out of five stars, because it kept me reading it all night, and it is also very well written. I have no complaints with this book, other than you have to wait for the next book in the Alex Rider Adventure

In the fourth novel of the Alex Rider series Anthony Horowitz leaves you grasping the edge of your seat, white-knuckled and hungry for words(shocker). In this story I truly began to feel the plot of the series come to light and shoot in different directions. Alex was remarkable (as always) but at the end of the book i felt pity for him. I have always felt that way on some scale, but only then did i feel the empty pity for him. This book was well paced, direct and wonderfully written. The characters emotions are tangible and refreshingly real in this secretive world full of deciet. It is one of the only series of books i have read that end where good prevails, but not everything is cheery and chipper. In this sense, the series only becomes more real to me. I highly recommend this series for anyone in search of a great read. Boys and girls alike will enjoy these novels. Go Alex!

I reccomend Eagle Strike for any one who loves action and lots of explosions...
I absolutley hate the ending but either than than that its the best book ive ever read(besides "Skeleton Key")
if you dont already know Alex Rider (the main char.) works for M16 (wich is discised as "The Royal and General Bank") because his uncle was killed while he was on duty (by the way he never knew his father or mother but he learns about his father in this book)so alex was the next in line his uncle (Ian Rider)had been training him for it since he was little.
any way you get the point he just goes thrugh some awesome experiences wich kinda ruin his life.
Well that's my review.

Anthony Horowitz has written three Alex Rider books. Now he has a fourth! Alex is still 14 years old, and is on a spy mission. A famous actor Damian Cray is making a video game that is too realistic. He also has a top secret document, titled Eagle Strike, that could destroy the world.
This is my favorite book of this series so far. It is action packed with mind blowing events. I also really like this book because Alex learns a lot about his past. I recommend this book and series for readers who like action.

Eagle strike was probobly the best Alex Rider adventure I have read yet. The aurthors description of the characters and there surroundings gave me a clear immage of what might have accueally happened. My favorite scene in the book was the fight on the airplane, a person must be really brave in order to keep there cool during a brawl on a moving airplane while a hatch is hanging open. I also enjoyed the detal of things that would normally be kept governmentally secret (for example; the missle launching room hidden on board Air Force One.

I first read Stormbreaker a few years ago and was intrigued, but I never thought of there being a sequel, for some reason. But while I was at the bookstore I ran across the others and eagerly read them all. In my opinion, Eagle Strike is the best of them, drawing from the other books but unique in its own way. I was exetremely happy to see Yassen Gregorovich back again, since I had an odd fascination with him, but the ending was a letdown for me---not saying anymore about that!

Though this book was hard to relate to-how many kids can say they saved the world?-it was interesting and oddly believable! Also, the age category is 9-12, but anyone older than that can thoroughly enjoy it, as I did. I think Anthony Horowitz is extremely talented and develops a plot and characters that evoke all sorts of emotions from readers.

I can't wait until Scorpia is released in the US; I will be first in line to get it!

As Anthony Horowitz brings the famous teenager spy Alex Rider back for another action packed book, Eagle Strike pulls you off your feet in an exciting thriller that is bound to please any reader. Alex Rider punches, kicks, and blows his way through another fantastic adventure.

Alex Rider, normally employed by M16, the British secret service, now finds himself working for his own sake to find the secret behind the world famous superstar Damian Cray. The story begins in Montpellier in the South of France where Alex stays with his friend Sabina Pleasure for a much needed vacation. But this vacation soon spoils itself when Alex finds his long time rival Yassen Gregorovich, a contract killer. Alex decides not to act, but his return back to the Pleasures' house reveals that he made a fatal mistake.

Alex finds the house bombed and Sabina's father Edward Pleasure seriously injured. Alex knew Yassen was responsible, but Alex has no clue of how or why. But as he walks through the ashes, Alex finds the article Edward Pleasure had been working on about Damian Cray. Alex takes it as a personal responsibility to go after Cray and take his revenge.

It becomes a cat and mouse game. Alex looks for clues about Damian Cray as Cray sends men to kill Alex and get him out of the way. Alex soon finds out that his success in stopping Cray does not just determine his own well being but the fate of the entire world.

Eagle Strike keeps you on your toes the whole way through the story, but it begins to get a little out of hand. Alex is fourteen years old, and he seems to have none of the boyish qualities that any teenager has during those years of childhood. Alex seems like a full grown man by his level of maturity, his perfectly built body, and his amazing coordination. He seems to have innate abilities to do almost anything with incredible skill, including surfing twenty foot waves and biking incredibly fast speeds. It does not seem real. However, Horowitz takes these traits of Alex Rider and runs with them. The beauty with Eagle Strike is that you become convinced that it does not have to be real, and that is what sparks your imagination and takes Eagle Strike to the next level.

Eagle Strike pulls you through a satisfying plot that has many twists and turns, but Alex Rider guides you through it with the grace of any James Bond.

In this book there were lots of exciting moments when i coulndn't put the book down. The main character ,named jonas, is chosen to be the towns reciever durng a ceremony when the twelves(as twelve year olds) get their life long jobs. this is an exciting moment because the reciever is chosen once every ten years.another exciting moment is when jonas leaves the town to the place were the memories describe. This book is written for readers between the ages of nine and thirteen. the reason i think it's for these ages is because it is a easy reader, has a good plot, and has a steady pace. this book is a mix of fiction and realisum.

i like this book. it has tons of action and is fun to read. unfortunately i've read all of the books in alex rider exept Ark Angel, so i can't remember which one this is, but i know that there all pretty good. try reading this book, then decide whether you want to read the rest of them or not. i don't know if by the time you read this someone else has made a review, but the opinion of one kid isn't enough to decide whether or not to buy this book, but try reading it. I've been reading the series ever since stormbreaker came out, and I swear that this one is the best yet! In this book it starts with a proluoge that keeps your hands glued to the book. Then, alex meets up with Yassen again (The russian contract killer from the first book). Alex learns more about Yassen, and about a man named Cray, who is freaking insane. Alex is caught several times and he manages to use his awsome skills to escape every time. But, the one thing that will make you crazy, wanting to find out what happens in the next book is what happens at the end. Yassen is about to die, and he reveals a secret to Alex about his father. It's a real shocker (I was probably more surprised than alex was), it's so unbelievable that alex wont even accept it. But Yassen tells alex that if he doesn't believe him he should go to Vience, and find Scorpia. Thats the last thing he ever says. Scorpia, the next book, was already released in the UK (Why don't we get it early also?!). Anyways, Eagle strike is a really cool book, alex is still with sabina, and there are some parts in the book where you'll laugh at the irony of it, or be stunned by something you never expected. There are chases, surprises, and thrillers throughout the whole book, making it impossble to sleep at night without knowing what happens next. This is THE best book in the series so far, and I strongly recomend getting it. It's definatly worth the money.

Eagle Strike is the 4th book in a globally successful series, by Anthony Horowitz, about a teenaged boy called Alex Rider. The book starts off with Alex on holiday, on a beach in the south of France with his friend, Sabina Pleasure, her mother and her journalist father who is working on an article about Damian Cray, the most popular pop star on earth.

Alex spots his archenemy, Yassen Gregorovich, who sails in on an expensive yacht. Later that afternoon there is an explosion and as Alex finds out, the house he and the Pleasures had been staying in was the target. Sabina's father was the only person occupying the house at the time. Severely injured he was airlifted to the nearby hospital.

Alex tries to convince the French authorities that it wasn't a gas leak, but actually a bomb planted by Yassen. Unsuccessful, he returns to the beach and boards the yacht. He finds Yassen, but in a dramatic turn of events, ends up in a bullring facing a ferocious bull. Alex escapes and traces a call that Yassen had received, instructing him to bomb the Pleasures' house. The call was made by none other than Damian Cray, the biggest pop star in the world.

Alex decides to take this evidence to M16, the secret agency he worked for, for some help. But to Alex's dismay they turn down his evidence and Alex is forced to investigate the matter alone.

At the outset, Alex steals his way into the launching of Cray's own gaming platform. By chance he gets singled out of the crowd to try it out and he meets Cray. He then decides to seek out Mr. Pleasures' photographer partner in Paris. The photographer gives Alex more evidence on Cray, but dramatically they get spotted by some men and the photographer is subsequently found mysteriously killed in his home.

Using the information they received from him, Alex travels to Cray's gaming platform plant. He sneaks in and overhears a conversation between Cray and a corrupt U.S. agent. He hears about operation `Eagle Strike' and the existence of a flash drive, containing nuclear missile codes. Subsequently Cray murders the agent.

Alex is then discovered by a guard and placed in a life-size version of the game he tried out on Cray's gaming platform. Before he reaches the end he plays a trick on the guards in the game and fakes death. This allows him to escape out of Cray's plant with the flash drive. He doesn't get far however before Cray's security is alerted and they start tearing up the city to try find him. Eventually they catch him at a train station and he is led on a very long chase between him, a gang of smart cars, and some biker bandits. After being chased continuously throughout the whole city he eludes them by jumping over a separating bridge onto the other side of the city. When he gets back to his home however he finds a TV screen waiting with a web cam placed on it. He turns it on and finds out that Cray is holding his friend, Sabina, hostage and is demanding that he bring the flash drive to him.

Alex takes it to him as he cannot risk Cray killing Sabina. Cray takes them to the airport and arranges for a decoy while he and his men hijack Airforce One, the U.S. presidents plane, and using the flash drive launches 25 nuclear missiles at various drug involved countries. They then try to take-off but Alex and Sabina get the better of Cray, overcome him and launch him out of the plane while the pilot tries to abort the take-off.

Sabina takes over the electronic controls and manages to make all the missiles self-destruct while they fly along on the edge of space and before they are able to complete their flight causing massive destruction to their target nations.

I think the best audience for this book would be young teenagers as it contains a few concepts that you begin to learn about at that age, and an older teenager might find the story a bit unrealistic and far-fetched.

I chose to read this book as it is by an author that I know writes very good books for my people around my age and I also like this kind of genre of writing.

The best parts of the book would have to be the period during which Alex is in Cray's Plant and in the game, as well as Alex's time in the south of France with the yacht and the bullring.

Do you like adventuress books that take you on lots of twists and turns? If you do then you will really like this book. The name of it is Eagle Strike by Anthony Horowitz. It's the 4th book in the adventure series about Alex Rider, a teenage British MI6 agent. I think this is a very good book, and I really enjoyed it. It's very interesting and it captures the reader's attention with all the twists and turns it gives you. This book flows really well. It is smooth and fairly easy to read. The only negative thing in this book was that sometimes there are too many things going on at the same time and you can get a little confused.

The action in the book is incredible. You speed through the city streets on a high speed bike chase, and then fly through the air on the U.S. presidential jumbo jet. You get that feeling that you are right there in the middle of the action, experiencing all the things that are going on. I would have to say that this is the most intriguing book in the series so far. I think this because the author uses a great imagination to keep the action going and building. The book is fun to read, and it never gets boring. The detail is awesome. It was interesting for me to read about when Alex was in the presidential plane because they describe it so well, down to the kind of fancy food and carpet that is carried on the plane.

As you can see, I thought this book was really well-written, and I would recommend this book to any teenager that likes to read action-packed and exciting books.

"Eagle Strike" is an amazing book. I have read it many times and every time it is just as intense as the time before. The book is very well-written, with graphic descriptions and intense sequences where you don't know what is going to happen next.
Alex Rider's resourcefulness is amazing and definitely very handy in tight spots, such as the time when he took wire and half a spear and tied it to look like he was impaled in order to trick the guards who were trying to kill him. I wouldn't have thought of that.
Another interesting aspect of the book is the villian. Damian Cray is a man who has good motives but bad ways of accomplishing them. He thinks that the ends justify the means, (spoiler alert) but using America's nuclear weapons to blow up all drugs isn't a very nice idea.
This book puts a new perspective on the life of a spy. To Alex, the people at MI6 are cold, manipulative people who will do anything to get their way, and they just want to use Alex to accomplish their dangerous missions. Also, any person in the organization is portrayed like other adults in the series and won't believe kids when they tell them that an extremely famous and influential person is an insane killer.
"Eagle Strike" and all the other books in the Alex Rider series are very well written, and I can't wait for the newest book to come out.

In the book Eagle Strike the setting takes place in England, at Damian Cray's factory for the GAME SLAYER, a new video game system.

In this book Damian Cray, who is a multi-million dollar singer, made a new high-tech video game system. The M16, or British intelligence, doesn't trust him because everyone who questions him seems to be killed in an accident sooner or later. HMMM? So Alex Rider, a M16 agent, is at the grand presentation of the GAME SLAYER. He is the only teenager there, so Cray calls him on the stage and wants him to try it. It was amazing. Later Alex finds out Cray uses the game system & factory as a cover-up for another plan. The plan is to blow up all illegal drugs in the world, but to do that he must use the U.S.A.'s nuclear bombs. So he steals the president's airplane that has all access to the 12 bombs. They are launched to blow up different parts of the world that make drugs. But this tactic would also take millions of innocent lives. So after a fierce battle in the plane Cray is pushed out and sucked in the engine & killed, Alex then self destructs the bombs in space. So Alex saves the world again.

I recommend this book to people who like suspenseful, action packed books that you just can't put down!

Eagle Strike has been my favorite in the series so far. I loved it and I think that anyone who reads it will too. When Alex Rider on vacation at Saint Pierre, with his friend Sabina, sees that the world's deadliest assassin has arrived on a boat. The assassin, Yassen Gregorovich, was sent to kill Sabina's father, a journalist. Alex tries to chase down Yassen, but he gets captured and tranquilized. Yassen's assistant suggests that they throw him in a bull fighting arena. Alex miraculously escapes the bull and runs away. Alex then suspects that Sr. Damian Cray, the richest man in England ordered Sabina's father murdered because he was getting inside information about his game. Damian invented a new video game based on the Aztecs. Alex still thinks that Cray planned all of the murders. So Alex breaks into Cray's lair and again gets captured. He is thrown in a weird room. Then Alex figured out it is an exact copy of the game Cray made. So Alex tries to beat the game by dodging spears, swords, snakes, robotic dragons, and fakes dead. He steals a special computer chip that apparently Cray really needs. Again Cray captures Alex and his friend Sabina and tells him his evil plot. He wants to launch the United States' missiles at illegal drug producing countries. Read the book to see how Alex Rider tries to stop Sr. Damian Cray's evil plot. I hope that whoever reads this enjoys it.

I think that Scorpia is an excellent book, but Anthony Horowitz must be running out of ideas very very quickly to be so desperate as to have a tiger, as a guard in a room in the Widows Palace,in the middle of venice.Having SCORPIA based on Malagosto

just off the Italian coast was a great idea, as was the Nanoshells part. The storyline admittedly did wander a bit but overall the book was far better than Eagle Strike and the others

in the series hopefully Anthony Horowitz is Writing another one as i type.

Eagle Strike, the fourth book in the Alex Rider series, was one of the best books I have ever read. I loved how it gave enough detail so you could get a good picture in your head. Some books give you so much detail that you're thinking "I really don't care just get on with it!" There is nothing boring about this book. The whole series is full of adventure. When I was reading this book, I literally could not put it down. Anthony Horowitz has a way of making you really care about the charactors. You can never tell what happens next. Go read this book!

Eagle Strike was full of thrill and excitement and I think you should read this because it has a cool ending. Alex went through a bullfight, a high speed chase through Amsterdam on a bicicle. It is fun to read because its had alot of action. I felt happy about Alex saving the world from Nuclear Missles. Alex was a hero who saved the world and if he was real i think you should be friends with him.

Everything was chaotic. The man with the machine gun opened fire, sensing that Alex must be near. But Alex was already down the street running. This is one of the many battles and chases that Alex faces in the Alex Rider Adventure series. The book I read was Eagle Strike. It's a realistic fiction book full of adventure and excitement on every page.

The book Eagle Strike was a great book. I really liked the other three books in the series but Eagle Strike was the best so far. I recommend this book to mostly boys who love to read action adventure books. It was a great book that was suspenseful and kept you reading.

As long as you can comprehend then you will understand this book. I connected to Alex (the main character), because he is a 14 year old boy, like me, that loves action. It was a great style of writing. It was like a movie. Who saw everything that happened from above?

There were many surprises in the book. One was when a man named Damian Cray makes a video game that scans you before you play. When you start you see an image of you in the game. You're the main character. It also looked real. The graphics were so realistic. That was just a small surprise. The book is full of even greater ones.

Eagle Strike wasn't boring at all. I loved every part of it. I could read it for hours non-stop. My mind didn't wander when reading either. It was too interesting to let my mind wander. The plot was great. It's basically about a 14 year old spy who has to save the world. Again anyone would love to read this book.

Altogether Eagle Strike is a great book. I recommend it to anyone. It's full of adventure and action. If you like action books you'll love this book. "To take a life and save a life with one bullet... that's not a bad going."

Eagle Strike is an adventure book like no other. Alex Rider a young M16 worker is tring to stop another evil criminal. Damian Cray, a pop idol is a huge antidrug supporter. Is there something that millions don't know about Damian Cray? Will Alex be able to survive a human video game and maybe meet a old rival Yassen Gregorivich? Can Alex possibly save the world again?

Eagle Strike marks the forth installment to the Alex Rider series. Like the other books in the series, Eagle Strike has your heart thumping at the turn of every page. The balance of action, suspense, and espionage is excellent. The book will leave you wanting to become a secret agent yourself. I loved reading the book, and I was sad when I was done reading it. As with all of the books in the series, I just wanted the story to continue. Once I picked up this book and started reading, I couldn't put it down! I think that this book would be an excellent gift, and if you're looking for something great and exciting to read, this would be it. The reading experience that comes out of this forth novel is exhilerating. I give Eagle Strike by Anthony Horowitz 5 stars without hesitation.

This book is about an adventure with edge of your seat suspense. First Alex Rider starts out on vacation and then bam before you know it he's on a spy mission. He sneaks into a base on the side of a truck, saves the world, crashes Air Force One, plays in the new video game in a real life stuation, and is embarrassed in front of a huge crowd.
My favorite part of the book was when he faked the guards out and pretended that he died. They sent a clean up crew to clean his dead body but when they got there, he was gone. I also like the part when he almost suffocated but found a way out of the wall, and out of the base. I would recommend this book to people who like action or suspense in their reading.

The fourth installment of the Alex Rider Adventures is full of action, suspense, mystery, drama, and a touch of wit. You don't need to read the first three to understand this one, but it is highly reccomended.

World-renowned pop-star, Damian Cray, is out to "save the world". He's an active speaker against drugs, violence, and other things in that matter. His intentions seem harmless enough, until Alex stumbles upon an attempted murder on a man writing a report on Damian Cray. Now Alex may be in on more than he bargained for, with high-speed chases, demented video games, a kidnapping, and a bull-fight. Now he just needs to survive.

It is about a teen spy named Alex Rider who saved the world three times already with the help of a British agency called MI6. But this time Alex has to save the world without them. Alex Riders fourth adventure kicks off in the south of france when Alex sees an deadly hitman named Yassen Gregorovich. After Yassen had almost killed one of Alex Riders friends it puts him back to murder and mysery.

My son (age 12) absolutely loves the Alex Rider series of books by Anthony Horowitz, and has read them all. The action and adventure is so intriguing it keeps him turning the pages. The suspense of the story, and the predicaments Alex finds himself in, as well as, the cool gadgets and skill he uses to get himself out, make the reader put themselves right into the story. The books use great locations and exciting adventures to make the reader want come back for more, as if it were a movie they never want to end. I have enjoying sharing the adventures with my son, and he always looks forward to the next book in the Alex Rider series!

Eagle Strike is the 4th spine-tingling installment of the Alex Rider series, and im my opinion, the best! 14 year-old Alex is a spy for MI6, the British intellingence agency. After declaring to them that he quits, he stumbles onto something while on vacation involving a former pop star, a human video game, and Air Force One. MI6 refuses to help, so this time Alex is on his own. Will he be a ble to save the world yet again? An important discovery he makes about his father will change everything he's ever believed. Eagle Strike is possibly the best book I have ever read, and has me eagerly anticipating, Scorpia, the next book in the series!
