I heartily recommend this book. Good reading, although it bogs a little in the front part with a lot of technical jargon.
Hoagland has done his research very well and exposes NASA as another of those wonderful government branches which will LIE to the American people to further it's hidden goals.
I always wondered what the true reason was behind the sudden stoppage of the Apollo missions in the Mid-70s.
I leave the verbosity to the other reviewers here... as they seem to enjoy that! ;-)

You missed the point. If there is a paperclip on the moon that a manned or unmanned mission from Earth did not put out there, then we are not alone. That's the point.
Quibbling over the position of a pyramid and a star is trivial. We have a lot of work to do so start reading all you can to help figure out how to deal with this recalcitrant situation. In my opinion, we don't have much more than a decade to come up with some way to truly condition ourselves to the concept of not being the "most high" and the most attractive species. This book is an excellent mind opener that we need badly.
Respectfully,
Jim

This book really put things into perspective for me. WOW! I never imagined all the things that were REALLY out there until I read this book and saw all the evidence. Truly amazing work. Must read, Must have for all Space buffs out there.

The authors use way, way too many quotation marks to convey their skepticism.
For example:
"The photos were destroyed by "someone" before they could get published."
They do that with every other sentence.

The authors have done an outstanding job in their research. It definitely opened up my eyes about the face on the moon...It should be read by all who have any desire to know what is going on in regards to the questions about the face on the moon. The pictures both in color and black and white are excellent in the new expanded edition. I, for one did not read the first edition, but I am glad I have read this one.

Fun Reading a lot of interesting opinions and pictures. I would get the newest release of this book as I have both think that this one has much more information and updated contents. I would say that if are interested in this subject you will not leave this book disapointed.

I will never "understand" why so many "amateur" authors write "books" in which every tenth word is in "quotation marks." Do they not "realize" how often they're using them? Does it not "annoy" them when re-reading what they've "written"? It is "impossible" to take this book "seriously," because the "author" comes across like a "high school sophomore" with no "awareness" of the fact that one should have a "valid" reason for putting a "word" in quotation "marks," lest one end up "writing" a book that is excruciatingly "annoying" to read.

NASA was launched as a civil organization but was quickly taken over by US military shadow organizations. NASA's civil front side worked quite well for a while and also on me. I frankly lost interest for NASA when the moon base was put into the future and by NASA's technicolor red Mars planet. When I came across Hoagland's Dark Mission I suddenly understood why USA have insisted on having at least one war ongoing every year since WW2 and then officially lose systematically. NASA lie through the teeth by habit even though normal people cannot see any reason whatsoever for doing that. They systematically produce facts that where manipulated in one way or another and present then as truth. Hoagland has managed to fight back against NASA in an admirable way.
The inner working and psychology of shadow organizations like DOD, NSA, CIA etc that effectively can be assumed to be in full control of NASA are well represented by this book that give a crystal clear insight by example. Obama's and Kerry's arguments concerning Ukraine is based on manipulation of facts at such high a rate that normal individuals that lack Hoagland's brutal work power will find it impossible to reveal the US government's dirty strategy until it is too late.
Dark Mission point's at compartmentalized security organizations and "need to know" blocks any attempt for truth and is probably one of our times most important book to reveal the grand scale of stupidity in US government that obviously have lost or have given up all attempts to control guilty organizations

Hoagland and his team is doing some excellent job on this book. Tons of evidence, photos , links , reports from "inside" NASA missions from early 80's until 2k. A strong book for the seeker of truth. Totaly worth its money/value .
- Thumbs up 4 stars -
Go for it.
Note:
And if it said more about Greek civilization findings (but it doesnt , instead of Mayan, hoppie, and other occult civilizations) and ancient wonders , i could marry this book in a book store church :)
Thanks , Timothy

Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA Interesting if far-fetched examination of a purported conspiracy among NASA executives, ex-Nazis and Masons to honor the ancient gods of Egypt throughout the U.S. space program.

This is an interesting and cool conspiracy book, but these days you can just get the electronic version for pennies on the dollar of what this hard copy costs...soon only religious texts will be printed and everything else will be on our computers.

That is the trouble with buying a book online, it is difficult to get an idea of the quality, or lack of the same, in the writing department. This book makes for a turgid read, has very few decent photographs, and leans towards the more extreme explanations about the Nasa space missions. I do not recommend this book.

The history of NASA was mind blowing in this book. I read the previous edition, but I'm going to re-buy this version to reread the new information. I gave this book out to 4 different people for Christmas. To think our government put Nazis in charge of starting NASA and how even L. Ron Hubbard is connected to the history of the program. Even more interesting is how given NASA is funded by our taxpayers in this country, it's interesting to learn from this book that NASA is not classified as a public explorations of science program but in fact, an agency of defense, therefore allowing the agency to cover up whatever they want, and classify "top secret" photographs from space and videos without us ever knowing what the hell we are funding. And as a huge researcher constantly watching, reading, studying the topic of UFOS, at first I was skeptical of some of the information in this book. But I started reading other books with official gov't reports photocopied in them, and with the recent interviews given by Buzz Aldrin finally revealing there is a "monolith" on the moon and Neil Armstrong finally breaking his non-interview silence this year as well, and based on a comment he made for the 25th anniversary of the moon landing, telling new generations "to uncover the protective layers of the truth" and referencing that there are many discoveries awaiting. I now throw my skepticism in the trash and support 95% of the evidence/information in this book.

Has the American space agency, with its fine legacy of putting a man on the moon, been lying to us? Does its mission have a darker purpose than pure science and has it made potentially explosive discoveries in its exploration of the solar system?
I've been interested in Richard Hoagland's work for a number of years, since he took on the cause of the "Face on Mars" and I've enjoyed exploring his website (enterprisemission.com), with its fascinating theory of hyperdimensional physics and his evidence that there are ruins of a civilization in the Cydonia region of Mars. Hoagland may sound like a nut but he puts forth an interesting and at times, convincing, case. Along with colleague Mike Bara, he has finally put it all together in this book, which persuasively argues that NASA is not quite what it seems to be. The book is liberally illustrated, with NASA's own photos along with others.
Let's get right to what Hoagland alleges in this book. While he's best known for his theories about Mars, Hoagland also tackles NASA's missions to the moon. He claims that the astronauts found ruins on the moon, specifically evidence of domes that once covered large portions of the surface. He backs this up with photos showing strange lines and markings in the sky over portions of the moon. Some of these photos come from a former NASA employee, Ken Johnston, who had worked at NASA as a test pilot and later was in charge of cataloging and storing photos from the moon flights. Johnston was shocked to be told one day by his superiors to destroy "all the copies of the original lunar photography" from the Apollo program. Instead, Johnston kept a set of the photos. He later contacted Hoagland and showed him the prints (mostly taken by the astronauts with a Hasselblad camera). Many of the other images (all of the Mars pictures) are digital, and the arguments about the "raw data" are highly technical. The arguments as to the validity of these photos relates to the types of processes and manipulation you can perform with digital images, but it comes down to this: it is fairly easy, with the aid of good photo editing software, to alter images to remove anything you don't want anyone to see. Is that what NASA has done with its Mars images?
I kept thinking that if our astronauts had found evidence of previous visitations and habitation on the moon, wouldn't someone eventually say something? Hoagland contends that there have been hints from the men who went to the moon, but that NASA would have many means of keeping them loyal - and quiet. He cites the Brookings Report, written in 1959 to comment on the implications of exploring space, which reported that there was a near-certainty that such exploration would find intelligent life. The report recommended that such findings should be kept from the public, to avoid disruption to society, and Hoagland contends that that is what NASA has done. He even states that the astronauts were hypnotized when they got back to earth to help erase the memory of some of what they saw on the moon.
What about Mars? Hoagland believes the Cydonia region is full of artificial constructions, and he provides photo evidence. The Face is the best-known of the constructions, but is certainly not the only piece of evidence. And, of course, NASA has done everything it can to dissuade the public from the idea that it is actually a face. They have always dismissed it as "a trick of light and shadow." We now have pictures of Mars from a number of successful robot journeys to the Red Planet, and we have more photos of Cydonia and the Face, and the newer pictures tend to confirm the earlier hypotheses that these constructions are artificial. Many of the shapes, and the geometry of their placement, mimic monuments on Earth; pyramids, for example. This book does not get into speculation as to who built the Martian monuments or how long ago that might have been. But Hoagland's earlier book, Monuments of Mars, does speculate about connections between those monuments and ancient ruins on Earth. Another excellent book about Mars that examines the possibility of a Mars-Earth link is Graham Hancock's book, The Mars Mystery: The Secret Connection Between Earth and the Red Planet Could the ancient Martians have been us - could human beings have come to Earth from a dying planet, Mars? Could they have left messages in the monuments they constructed on Mars about our human ancestry?
Dark Mission provides us with yet another theory about the assasination of President John F. Kennedy, who initiated the program to send men to the moon. There is solid evidence that Kennedy wanted to work with the Soviets on a space program. While the popular story is that the "space race" pitted the US against our cold war enemy, the Soviet Union, that may not have been what Kennedy intended. JFK did not live to see his dream fulfilled, and the US won the race to the moon, but could the idea of working with what President Reagan years later called "the evil empire" have been sufficient motivation for someone to kill JFK? Perhaps the inclusion of this material on the Kennedy assasination will simply lead to more ridicule for Hoagland's overall theories, but it seems to me to be at least as good a motive as the others that have been suggested (the Mafia, the Cubans, the CIA, etc).
I was a huge JFK fan, so I am not offended by Hoagland's picture of him as the inspiring leader who wanted peace, not war. But I have a little more trouble with his notion that NASA is obsessed with rituals dating back to ancient civilizations and kept alive by secret societies. Are we really to make something out of the fact that many top NASA officials have been Masons (as were many astronauts, including Buzz Aldrin who brought a masonic flag to the moon)? How about the influence of Nazis, people like Werner Von Braun (and the book builds a case that he WAS a Nazi)? Does NASA really time its launches to coincide with ritual dates? I can't say they don't, but it does sound a bit crazy.
I enjoyed reading this book, even though it left me back where I started from - thinking Richard Hoagland has some interesting ideas that are worth a serious look, but not being totally convinced either. I wish the book had an index so I could quickly find information I want to check with other sources.
It is very sad to me that people are questioning whether the moon landings ever actually happened. That is sheer ignorance, but might serve NASA's purposes as disinformation in case too much comes out about what they really found on the lunar surface. Denying we went to the moon is like denying the Holocaust. As a generation that has no memory of those events take their place as world leaders, such ignorance can be easily spread. It totally stops the REAL questions we should be asking. Like these: Why haven't we gone back to the moon? What did NASA really find there? And if we do go back (as NASA is planning), will they start telling us the truth about what they find?

This is a very piece of nonsenses over nonsenses. Not only all the absurd things has been demostrated falses, the author continues making it as true. Mars face, pyramids in Moon and Mars, all of that is a very sum of sillyness.

oh you
I was being blocked from reviewing this book, which is a total waste of paper. It has taken me several complaints to the store to give this trash a negative review. The only plot is that 10 of the 20 positive (5 star) reviews are one-time ONLY, which has given this junk an artifical rating. Add the 5 others who have only 2 reviews and you have the legal difinition of a CONSPIRACY. The point I am making is that the author had to employ his followers to artificially inflate this psuedoscience nonsense.
Wikipedia defines pseudoscience as any subject that appears superficially to be scientific or whose proponents state is scientific but nevertheless contravenes the testability requirement, or substantially deviates from other fundamental aspects of the scientific method.
trash
* noun. 1 waste material; refuse. 2 worthless writing, art, etc. 3 a person or people regarded as being of very low social standing.

Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA, is one of the most astonishing and enlightening books I have ever read, and a great follow up to the earlier edition. Tremendously important for everyone! The ET lunar architecture depicted in the photos are astonishing! Thank you Hoagland and Bara for putting your "hand in the box" where others are too afraid to go. This book definitely calls into question the official versions of space exploration, given to us by force feeding from governments and academia. This book literally rewrites our relationship in the cosmos. A new science and NASA politics, tells us that for the last 50 years, space has been owned by government and not the people-few are allowed to participate. Hoagland and Bara are like science detectives wading through obstacles and explaining the science and what it means to us. In reading your book twice, I feel as I was really there as you tell the story. Thank you for allowing me to participate in this adventure!

Dark Mission immerses the reader in a reality where an extremely advanced ancient civilization left its remains on earth, the moon, and mars. High level initiates of secret societies operate through the highest levels of NASA and other U.S. and world organizations to fill in the gaps of their partial knowledge of humanity's true heritage. By ritually utilizing the ancient's message of hyperdimensional physics, they aim to resurrect the ancient link between the stellar and the terrestrial.
"Chapter 5: A Conspiracy Unfolds" is one of the highlights of the book. Well-written and perfectly paced, an adventure begins with the ancient Egyptian concepts of Osiris, Isis, Set, and Horus. This serves as a background strand that continually links the various developments of the entire space program. The roles of Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons, Buzz Aldrin, Vannevar Bush, Wernher Von Braun, Adolf Hitler, Farouk El-Baz, Walt Disney, L. Ron Hubbard, and many others are presented with twists and turns that edify the reader at every junction. Freemasons, Rosicruicians, Nazis, and the OTO host this cast of characters as NASA is born and bred from the combination of occult wisdom, arcane knowledge, scientific development, and a host of bizarre actions. This chapter has something to offer everyone, and is alone worth the price of the book.
The book does have some shortcomings. Readers without a technical background must strap themselves in for a tour through hyperdimensional physics, torsion fields, and the J.F.K. mystery before getting to the artifacts on the moon and the insightful chapter 5.
The book's ensuing thorough coverage of the details is perhaps a necessary distraction. Hoagland has a point to prove, and drives it home with conviction and evidence. The book could perhaps have been presented in a different order where the climactic conclusions in the epilogue were presented first, then followed by the formation of NASA, and finally by the other elements that the book presents. A lot of the technical details regarding image processing could have been relegated to an appendix chapter.
The book sometimes loses focus as to whether it is written for readers that have an intricate knowledge of the subject material, or whether it is aiming for the person who is unfamiliar with the controversies and has never visited Hoagland's website at [...] This is understandable, though, given the depth, complexity, and sheer variety of the material.
If the reader is not familiar with terms such as the D & M Pyramid, the tetrahedral latitude of 19.5 degrees, the 33rd degree, and glass structures on the moon, then this book will introduce the reader to the subject. The text also has many new details to offer those who are already familiar with the authors' work. They show how NASA has intentionally shifted the color of the Martian sky to appear red instead of blue, and that is just the beginning of the revelations contained in this volume that is full of both color and black and white photos.
Anyone who reads this book will, at the very least, look up at the sky and wonder if there really are the remains of an ancient, hi-tech base up there on the moon. And even more mysteriously, are there really vast remains, including a face monument on mars starring down at them, that some insiders have long since known about and concealed for reasons that the authors can only speculate.

I couldn't wait to read this book after listening to Richard Hoagland on Coast to Coast Am. Hoagland explains his thoughts and ideas in a way that is easy to understand while on the radio, but the way the book is written is MUCH MUCH harder to understand. The reading is very laborious. I have only read the first 90 or so pages but I am not sure if I will finish the book as it seems to be more of a college Physics lesson in written form than a book written for the average Joe. To say that I am lost in what I have read so far is an understatement. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone without a background or education in astrophysics. I am hoping if I plow through another 30 or 40 pages the reading will be more about the subject of the book, which I thought was the different artificial structures that are possibly scattered around our solor system, and less about the different aspects of physics which up till now have caused me to want to either put it down or skip parts all together.

Disinformation - that's my opinion. More about that in a minute.
Here's how the photos appear to me: Most of the photos presented by Hoagland as proof of alien structures on Mars and the Moon have been processed in bizarre ways to get the faintest anomalies to appear. Then these anomalies, which have been forced from the photos through processing, colorizing (or whatever it takes to make them look like something) are presented as things like cities, buildings and domes. If these were real we would see them simply by looking at the original photos. However, the only way you will ever see most of these "artifacts" is through the power of suggestion - you see them because you are told to see them. Do you like the idea of ancient alien civilizations? If you want them to be there then they probably will appear to be there for you.
One big exception to that is the 1976 Viking I photo of the "Face on Mars" located in a region called Cydonia, which you have most certainly seen - not only in Hoagland's books but plastered on the front of rag papers at the grocery store. Yes, that photo really does look like a face. Hoagland was so impressed by that "face" that he drew lines connecting every corner and crevice of the surrounding topography in the photo, extracted math from the intersecting angles that seemed to "match" his evolving hypothesis (likely then erasing all the lines that didn't work) and abracadabra - all the math "matches" - proof of a Martian city! This mathematical slight of hand then becomes the launching point for nearly all the rest of Hoagland's excruciatingly boring, really long and even more boring, fantasy-called-fact. Really. Hoagland drones on with all of his esoteric "proof" like a Jehovah's Witness on steroids.
Since this "ancient alien civilization" nonsense all started with the "face" the thought comes to mind: do we now have a better image of the "face" taken in higher resolution? Why, yes we do. FoxNews[dot]com reports on this in an article entitled: "Face on Mars or Rocky Hill? New Photo Reveals Truth." The page shows a new NASA image of the site and explains;
"The new image comes from the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment camera (HiRISE) on board the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, a multipurpose satellite designed to explore the Red planet from orbit. In 2007, the camera captured this new picture of the eroded mesa made famous by its similarity to a human face. Taken from much nearer to the planet and with a substantially higher resolution camera, the features so distinctive in the original image completely vanish in the new one. The original Viking Orbiter image had much lower spatial resolution and a different lighting geometry, factors that led to the optical illusion. The face turns out to be a mesa -- a rocky outcropping -- in the Cydonia region that's a couple of miles long and a few hundred feet high. ..The HiRISE camera returns images of the Martian surface with higher resolution than ever seen before from an orbiter, allowing scientists to see extraordinary detail in all kinds of surface features on the red planet."
Look at this higher resolution image. If this doesn't put Hoagland's "alien civilization" theory to bed for you then I'm sure nothing I can say is going to help.
While it is pretty clear at this point that the "ancient alien civilization" hypothesis is horse poo, there is still some truth to Hoagland's book. That is the historical presentation of NASA as having significant occult connections manifested throughout the Apollo program. I know this is true because I researched this subject in depth myself for a series of programs I produced and hosted on Tsiyon Radio including "Occult Space Nazis #230" and "Occult Space Nazis Recycled #231". Hoagland's historical information about NASA's occult and Nazi connections is absolutely true.
This is where I believe the "disinformation" comes into the picture. Clearly, Hoagland is an establishment (CBS) and NASA insider. He got a lot of help from NASA and other NASA insiders for someone contending with NASA. Why? This could very well be the real conspiracy. By linking the weird occult history of NASA with these nutty space alien theories NASA's occult ties are negated by association with an "idiot fringe" conspiracy theory. At the same time, in the mind of the masses who believe the kind of theories Hoagland is putting out, belief in "aliens" is strongly reinforced. Wide scale acceptance of "aliens" is a long term propaganda goal of the powers that be, as demonstrated in another recent program of mine, "Alien Abduction Dirty Tricks #244." The only question I have left is whether Hoagland is a knowing or unknowing participant in this propaganda ploy. I leave it to you to make up your own mind about that - or not.

"Dark Mission, The Secret History Of NASA" should be required reading for all high school honors students. It provides priceless illlumination about what has been hidden for so long by NASA. What does Nazi scientists, The Freemasons, L. Ron Hubbard, Aliester Crowley, Jack Parsons, the assination of John F. Kennedy, Heinrich Himmler, misinformation and disinformation from NASA, the Moon and Mars all have in common? Read the book to find the answer to that question --and others. It will knock your socks off and you will be glad for it. As an afterthought, don't just buy one. Buy two and give one as a Holiday gift.

I find the conspiracy reviews that say this book has no proof to be absurd. This is an excellent book with examples to back up the theories and problems concerning Nasa secrecy and the mars missions in particular. The physics of Hoagland makes more sense than what was taught in all my college physics courses. Anyone who says there is no proof in this book either didn't read or didn't understand the book. Just the Brookings Institute report and the way Nasa stonewalled on Cydonia proves they are hiding something. If there is a possibility that there are structures on Mars then why would Nasa not want to take better pictures of the area. If nothing else, you would think they would like to disprove all the scientists who propose that these are not natural formations.
The photos we do have are directly from Nasa and even they admitted (finally) that they had lied when saying they had later photos of Cydonia which did not show the structures. If it's a conspiracy to think the government or defense agencies might hide something, then so be it. Anyone who believes the government does not keep secrets from the people has not studied history. Just look to Gulf of Tonkin, Nixon, Iran-Contra, Operation Northwoods, etc. A conspiracy is just a secret plan between 2 or more people. To say this never happens is ridiculous.

The first book I read by Richard C. Hoagland literally jumped off the bookshelf and into my hands! I saw the title, THE MONUMENTS OF MARS - A City on the Edge of Forever, and did not hesitate to buy it. I could not put it down and re-read it many times over the years. Hoagland's exhaustive and collaborative approach to going headlong into mysteries NASA and too many others have seemed determined to conceal from public scrutiny is fascinating and mind opening.
Since this first book, I have followed Hoagland's work ardently. His recent book, DARK MISSION -- THE SECRET HISTORY OF NASA, continues to deliver what myself and so many others have come to expect from Hoagland. His dogged, determined, persistent and journalistic approach to revealing the hidden layers of NASA as well as the history of our entire space program is disturbing and revealing. Hoagland's collaboration with Mike Bara adds even more editorial muscle to this work.
I could not put this book down and continued to be amazed at the revelations contained herein. Regretfully, for supporters of the human space exploration program, this book reveals all too clearly how NASA has found itself on the threshold of no where . . . a space program that as of today, just days after the final shuttle mission, seems to be stalled in neutral, with no mission, no vision, and no long-term plan.
Hoagland and Bara have brought into tight focus so many aspects of the politics and power struggles in the NASA agency. They are to be commended and therefore this book is highly recommended.

Dark Mission by Richard C. Hoagland
Book Review by Dr. Ali Fant, WB5WAF, 12DE2007
This review is from the perspective of a former NASA Manned Spaceflight Controller, so it is more technical than expository. I first encountered Hoagland's claims through the NASA Technical Alert Briefing viewed by many controllers at the Johnson Space Center in 1989-90, found his claims creditable, and then discovered the briefing tape "disappeared" from the closed JSC Technical Library - from both the open card catalog and the closed shelf listing catalog. As a former university library page, I was shocked to find all references to the briefing tape we controllers viewed were gone two years later. When I began investigating the matter, I was told in no uncertain terms to cease any search for the missing library records.
Key Findings from Dark Mission:
1. NASA is a defense agency of the US Government per the original agency charter.
2. NASA withholds data of non-human intelligence for the good of human society per "Brookings."
3. Brookings Institution advised US in 1959 report "Proposed Studies on the Implications of Peaceful Space Activities for Human Affairs" to beware social-economic chaos resulting from alien artifacts found on the Moon or Mars as the 1938 "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast traumatized America.
4. Arthur C. Clarke based the 1968 novel/film "2001: A Space Odyssey" on the Brookings Report.
5. According to Clarke's 1968 Playboy Magazine interview, Stanley Kubrick quoted from Brookings in the film. The following movie dialog being based upon the "Brookings Report":
"I'm sure you're aware of the extremely grave potential for cultural shock and social disorientation contained in the present situation, if the facts were prematurely and suddenly made public without adequate preparation and conditioning. Anyway, this is the view of the [Space] Council... there must be adequate time for a full study to be made of the situation before any thought can be given to making a public announcement. Oh yes ... as some of you know, the Council has requested that formal security oaths be obtained in writing from everyone who has any knowledge of this event." -- Dr. Heywood Floyd, 2001: A Space Odyssey.
6. As a Manned Spaceflight Controller for NASA's last publicly acknowledged military shuttle mission, I remember taking this formal security oath to safeguard information on such flights. However, unlike all other US Government security oaths I have had in my lifetime, the NASA oath was never "terminated." That is, I never went through a formal debriefing. I questioned this lack of a debrief with NASA Security at the time and was told the Security office was already disbanded and no debriefing would be held.
7. Hoagland's retelling of the "Monuments of Mars" matches the NASA Alert Briefing the controllers and I saw in 1989-90 in the now "non-existent" tape from the JSC Technical Library.
8. Hoagland's explanation of "hyperdimensional physics" is too complex to be included here. Suffice it to say that I have studied the data, examined the historical connections between Oliver Heaviside (1850-1925), James Maxwell (1831-1879), Nikola Tesla (1856-1943), Thomas E. Bearden (1930-), Bruce DePalma (1935-1997), and Harold E Puthoff (1936-); and found the evidence convincing.
9. The multiple-sourced, publicly available NASA photographs of the pyramids, buildings, and connecting roads between the structures on Mars demonstrate the presence of ancient peoples on the planet. This is old news to most space news junkies. Second Astronaut on the Moon, Buzz Aldrin even released a "fiction" book Encounter With Tiber (1996) incorporating many of these Mars details. Aldrin's book had a storyline about ancient lunar structures being discovered by Apollo Astronauts. Arthur C. Clarke (surprise!) even wrote the foreword to Aldrin's book. Because the story line is fiction, any revealed details would not violate Aldrin's formal security oath. This was the same approach Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) took with his book "proving" the revolution of the planets - the book was originally written as a work of fiction. Unfortunately, the Catholic Church did not appreciate the humor of Galileo putting the words of the Pope into the mouth of Simplico (the fool).
10. And, just in case you missed it, there is a connection between NASA's Werner Von Braun and the Disney World "Mission to the Moon" (later restaged as "Mission to Mars," and featured in the excellent Disney produced films "Forbidden Planet" and "Mission to Mars." The latter film's climax is the "Face On Mars." However, coincidences do not make conspiracies.
11. Hoagland does an excellent job detailing the "Operation Paper Clip" removal of Nazi Germany rocket scientists to Texas as detailed in the James Michener's book and 1985 mini-TV series "SPACE" - even including National Archives photographs of Von Braun in his black SS uniform alongside Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler. The occult history of Hitler is well documented by other authors, but Hoagland claims the occult influence extended from the SS to Von Braun to even the selection of NASA Mission Patches.
12. Hoagland sees a connection between Freemasonry (33rd degree), Von Braun\Disney production film "Man in Space," and the "fiction" film's representation of an alien base on the farside of the Moon. It is just another coincidence that CIA Remote Viewer Ingo Swann saw an operational alien base in the same location prior to 1998.
13. The spiritual aspects of UFOlogy, Adolf Hitler's birthday (April 20), 19.5 degrees location of planetary "hotspots" (on the Earth, the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, etc), the number 33 (Launch Complex 33, Shuttle Runway 33, 333 degrees from Egypt's Great Pyramid at Giza leads to JPL in California), and more and more numbers are overwhelmingly discussed by Hoagland in detail.
14. Finally, the greatest surprises in Hoagland's book are in the last ninety pages. These last few pages contain the explosive description of Lunar ruins, mechanical artifacts, and even an (I kid you not) ancient robot head not unlike the one shown in the Star Trek: The Next Generation Mark Twain episode of "Time's Arrow" when Data discovers his death lies in the past of San Francisco. The color photographs Apollo 17 Astronauts Eugene Cernan (1934-) and Harrison Schmitt (1936-) took of the robot head in Crater Shorty have recently been released to Italian websites by NASA. Italy? Hey, the Catholic Church is headquartered in that nation ... just another coincidence. Hoagland postulates that the mechanical head could have easily been transported back to Earth.
15. Other NASA photographs show crystal domes once covered many of the Maria on the Moon. Apollo 10 photographed at least one unbroken crystal dome, blacked-out in the official NASA print catalog, but if ordered by anyone today shows the intact dome. Since the 1990s, many researchers are specifically ordering these "black-out" lunar catalog prints to be stunned by what actually arrives in the mail. Hoagland publishes many of the photographs.
16. Remember when Apollo 17 deliberately crashed the ascent stage into the Moon to measure the moonquakes using previously implanted seismic monitors? Such a moonquake map would show the placement of the newly revealed structures on the NASA photographs. However, after more than thirty years, the results still remain classified - on a civilian scientific Moon mission.
17. Hoagland's book is having an effect on NASA today. Last year, NASA engineers suddenly "found" high-quality TV recordings of the Apollo 11 mission in Australia. Then, high quality "close-to-the-original" Apollo photographs were released to international public websites detailing the shattered crystal domes on the Moon. Next, NASA began posting thousands of never-before-seen "best" scanned pictures. This year (2007), NASA released for the first time the truly spy-camera quality photographs of the "Face on Mars" - showing details down to 11 inches. The vehicle and wheel tracks of the Opportunity Rover are clearly visible, as is the Face.
18. Living astronauts refuse to comment on much of Hoagland's expose citing various reasons. Apparently, even the Coast-to-Coast Radio Show scheduled a "debate" between Hoagland and an astronaut, but the astronaut cancelled the engagement at the last minute.
19. Twice flown astronaut, war hero, and Senator John Glenn requested a March 2001 appearance on the television NBC comedy Frasier. In the unusual episode, Glenn makes some very-unfunny comments directly to the viewing audience (out of earshot of Frasier and Roz) that are significance enough to repeat here: "Back in those glory days, I was very uncomfortable when they asked, you know, were you alone out there? We never gave the real answer, and yet we see things out there, strange things, but we know what we saw out there. And we couldn't really say anything. The bosses were really afraid of this, they were afraid of the `War of the Worlds' type stuff, and about panic in the streets. So, we had to keep quiet. And now we only see these things in our nightmares, or maybe in the movies, and some of them are pretty close to being the truth."
20. Astronaut Neil Armstrong began his highly emotional address on 20JL1994 at the White House with the statement that he compared himself to a parrot - saying only what he had been told to say. Armstrong ended his strange remarks with the phrase "truth's protective layers."
21. Astronaut Alan Bean draws his colorful Moonscapes paintings with diagonal markings perhaps to show the presence of shattered glass domes fragments.
22. Don't be too hard on the astronauts. I know former NASA employees who have had their lives thrown into turmoil by losing retirement pensions or having unexpected deaths.
23. Dark Mission lacks an index and perhaps the second edition will include one. I am reminded of the United States Central Intelligence Agency selling their entire data collection on Remote Viewing (on CD-ROMS) without an index. An index would have made it too easy for someone, somewhere to censor Hoagland's book.
24. Recent Moon News: Japan SELENE arrived Moon 05OC2007, China CHANGLE arrived Moon 27NV2007, India CHANDRAAYAN to arrive Moon 2008, US LRO to arrive Moon 2008, Russia Lunar Rover to arrive Moon 2010, and US GRAIL to arrive Moon 2011.
25. After thirty years of no manned missions to the Moon, why the sudden race for governments to return there? Even in the midst of a major war in the Middle East, governments are making a decision to return to the Moon as soon as possible. Check out the recently released Apollo photographs on the web and decide for yourself.

While reading this imposing volume (almost 600 pages), I've changed my mind from 5 to 3 stars, depending on the section. On the whole, I will say that if you're interested in space, NASA, conspiracies, Mars, the Moon, this book is something you should absolutely take a look at.
Dar Mission covers a lot of ground: hyperdimensional physics, NASA origins (with more weird, but verified, stuff than you'd expect, including "Magicians", Nazis, and Freemasons), Hoagland's personal struggle with NASA and others, various astronauts' testimonies or odd behaviour, a lot of photographic evidence - which may or may not convince you - and JFK assassination material as well. A lot of ground to be sure.
All of this is highly interesting. However, there are some minor flaws I wish to point out. One thing, which I heard mentioned before, is the abuse of quotations marks and italics. It wasn't as omnipresent as I feared, but they're still pretty much on every page; it's as though Hoagland suspect every term to have its very own conspiracy. As to the italics, the less you use them, the more efficient they are when you do use them, much like bluffing at poker. Dark Mission is almost on par with comic books when it comes to italicised words. Not a major flaw, though.
There still are some misspellings and typographical oddities (even though this is a revised edition) and someone's name is still spelled in two different ways across 2 pages.
Another thing I would have appreciated is if they had put the images where they belong in the text, rather than at the end of every chapter. This makes you go back and forth needlessly. It brings nothing (apart from the ability to have all the images at the same place for any given chapter, which isn't all that much compared to being able to see the image the text mentions right next to it) so that was a rather curious choice of organisation.
Another problem I have with this book is the photographic evidence. Not being a geologist, much less an extraterrestrial geologist, I have no background on which to judge Hoagland and Bara's claims about geological features of Mars and the Moon. That wouldn't be a problem if these authors gave the needed background, but they don't. Sure enough, mountains with angular sides don't look natural at all, as many other features do as well, but such things can be found on Earth too (meaning things that look artificial but aren't, not these specific things) and without a proper geological explanation, the reader cannot be convinced. It's not enough to claim that "no geologists we've talked to is able to explain these formations", I would have appreciated to get deeper into this (and getting deeper isn't a problem for these authors since they do so thoroughly when it comes to imaging technology and such, so why not geology?).
Moreover, my reaction to most of the images was that of perplexity. Yes, I see what they mention, but I'm rarely convinced it's what they say it is. Admittedly, some images demand an explanation, such as the "bushes" on Mars, or the glow on the Moon's horizon, which shouldn't be there since such a glow requires an atmosphere to reflect the Sun's light, among other anomalous features. So don't get me wrong, even though I've listed a few negative things, I still think this book needs to be read by many and be debated.
The material about 19.5 and 33 is both surprising and unconvincing, at times. One doesn't know whether this is just selective on the part of the authors, and that you'd find these numbers eventually if you look hard enough, or if there's really something to it (and given the evidence, there seems to be, at least in a few instances, mostly in coordinates). When it comes to star alignment and such, I'm less convinced, but that's also because I'm no expert on stars and my grasp on how unlikely (or likely) these things are is limited.
The book left me frustrated because many of these things I had never heard in the media, and if there's anything valid about their case (even if only 10% is valid, which is far less than I believe to be worth our attention in this book), then we're being softly lied to. You don't even need to go far into conspiracy theories to accept that NASA is fishy; some of the things they have said and done are plain disturbing and difficult to explain as "honest mistakes" and imbecility. This is among the stronger points in Dark Mission.
To conclude, I'll say that Dark Mission makes a convincing general case to become, or remain, suspicious of NASA. If you're hesitant, but love this sort of material, then hesitate no more: go for it, you won't regret it.

Fascinating read overall and I find Hoagland's material and ideas well worth the money for this book. However, there are a few facts we should consider:
1) No book spilling such incredible beans on such powerful organizations and individuals would ever be published in the mainstream press and ever be allowed to climb the NY Times Bestseller List. Ever. This is the first clue that Hoagland is "singing for his supper", so to speak, at least on some level.
2) Hoagland, as a ridiculously young 23 year old, was CHOSEN QUITE INTENTIONALLY to be the science go-between for CBS / Cronkite regarding the Apollo missions, thus he has a tremendous amount invested in certain stories and "angles".
3) The Apollo missions (as told to us via video, pictures and written material supplied by NASA & JPL) were technically impossible in many, many ways (topping that list would be the Van Allen Belt issue) and the proof of some level of hoax is beyond question now, but Hoagland clings to laughable plausibility in this regard. What is wrong with the theory that there WAS a joint Soviet / American mission to the moon (probably pre-dating 1969 by a number of years) for the same nefarious agendas that Hoagland discusses, but with other aerial technology (such as the non-rocket driven "Aurora" that could have also gone to mars)? This is very plausible and explains many "oddities", but because Hoagland was front and center and became famous back in 1969 due to his Apollo 11 coverage he is unable to be unbiased here. No one likes to admit they were total pawns. Many of the "anomalous artifacts" seen in the moon photos and video is better explained as background sound stage / film studio environment (with Stanley Kubrick's involvement). This is certainly the case with the "scaffolding" in all the background photos of the "sky", which Hoagland claims are massive glass structures hundreds of miles high!!! Why such a wild idea, when other explanations are far more logical? In other words, there is better evidence to support the idea that the Apollo story is almost entirely fabricated, at least initially. Having said that, there may well be a variety of manufactured structures on the Moon (and Mars of course), but NASA would never have risked showing that to the rest of us, supposedly "live". There is plenty of fraud here, but it is more on a level of a hoax than an actual cover-up, if you get my meaning.
4) People in Hoagland's supposedly "blowing the whistle as a total insider" position simply don't live long enough to get the entire story out, especially over the many years he has been at it. In this sense, he is sort of an "alternative media" darling, having been on Coast to Coast and similar shows numerous times. Far, far, too much would be at stake if Hoagland was revealing the entire truth in this book. Triggering heart attacks via wireless frequency generators, for example, could be done by a 2 year old child these days. No problem. So because Hoagland lives on, he must be fulfilling some powerful entities agenda.
In summary, interesting stuff and some tie-ins not discussed in many other places (Egypt, Nazis, Masons, Occult, etc. within the space industry), but as usual with anything mainstream, my "disinfo" sensors are on high alert. Hoagland is certainly an insider with lots of technical knowledge and intriguing ideas, but it is possible he was and remains "too close" to the topic if you get my meaning. He may be just another controlled opposition straw-man meant to misdirect and confuse us truthseekers. I hope not because Richard is fascinating to listen to and seems so genuine, but let's not be naive or gullible. Because on the one hand he drones on about all of NASA's lies and fraudulent actions, but on the other, he refuses to even entertain the idea that the Apollo missions were at all hoaxed or faked or manipulated. Huh? That seems very illogical and quite ridiculous to me, Richard. The spots of a leopard don't change, friend.
A similar book with a different take is "Dark Moon" which I would suggest if you are trying to put this crazy puzzle together.

The Work is extraordinary, accurate and concise. I appreciate the inquisitive point of view and the scientific method exploring the hypothesis that certain agencies are in collusion working in a clandestine manner on things "that may cause civil unrest" if revealed. The science here is somewhat inductive in reason, as it draws angular platonic relationship as a power grid feature yet this is supported by unmentioned deductive esoteric science already known from Sound and Light and its relationship to form. The links to Nazi's which were in the higher circles esoteric practitioners themselves, believing they were the Stars or Aryan-- god ordained race world leaders makes sense.
I can only suggest History repeats itself as we were foretold the Atlanteans brought about their own doom, So does all this investigative work clearly show that Aryans are self doomed also? Yes Ufo's are real, yes hyper dimensional physics is a reality and yes many codes in our world wide mystical writings clearly demonstrate multi dimensional reality is a fact. And many people experience life in this way- the adepts of enlightenment and on the path of a spiritual awakening. So the bottom line is: "life can't be controlled by a set group or a racially gifted tribe. Rather from my view life direction and systems is open from a higher dimensional source; and this is a choice we make and surrender our ego to; and then one can hear and listen and cooperate with. When will mankind realize this? In summary, I am very happy with this work and fits in with my understanding of the races and the ages. We had the Lumerian, the Atlantean, and now as the Aryan approaches its demise we have the birth of the Aquarian! I feel this work attempts to right how the demise will be. And I am sincerely hopeful for those in collusion, working clandestinely on attempting to prolong the purpose of the Aryan race find their enlightened moment that this book offers. Hopefully they then will join those who want to bring the transition to truth and justice and peace to our planet in a graceful way. Because, as the new age ushers in the bottom line is we are all going to be a part of it anyway. Please keep in mind when the moment comes when we start a new clock/ calender we are passing through a great cosmic Torsion field, and all grids-forms are subject to change both in our bodies and in the bodies of the heavenly spheres.

The first book I read by Richard C. Hoagland literally jumped off the bookshelf and into my hands! I saw the title, THE MONUMENTS OF MARS - A City on the Edge of Forever, and did not hesitate to buy it. I could not put it down and re-read it many times over the years. Hoagland's exhaustive and collaborative approach to going headlong into mysteries NASA and too many others have seemed determined to conceal from public scrutiny, is facinating and mind-opening.
Since this first book, I have followed Hoagland's work ardently. His recent book, DARK MISSION -- THE SECRET HISTORY OF NASA, continues to deliver what myself and so many others have come to expect from Hoagland. His dogged, determined, persistant and jounalistic approach to revealing the hidden layers of NASA as well as the history of our entire space program is distrubing and revealing. Hoadland's collaboration with Mike Bara adds even more editorial muscle to this work.

While complex and technically detailed at times, the foundation of this book about NASA's dubious beginnings and conspiratorial secrets about what has been actually found on the Moon, Mars and elsewhere is a must read for anyone trying to understand the potential of what is out there. While I am skeptical about some of the claims, it opened my mind to question more and more about what the government really knows and what there really is beyond our known existence. I am so glad I read this important book and highly recommend it.

Whew!
Sobering. If this book is even half right, there are great implications.
Too bad that he says, "it is obvious from [the image] that [such and such]
is". Not obvious to ME! Of course a grainy black and white book image cannot do justice to what he sees, in the photos. This is the problem of such image discloseures, the original is not there for us to see. He has the originals, we have to take what he says on his word.
To me, the "martian city" looks a bit, on the image, to be a jumble of rocky mounds. But so would some of our ancient ruins seen from space!
I issue a "CALL" here. for amateur astronomers! the telescopes coupled with digital cameras, are now capible of very very detailed images taken of the moon and of mars. Nowadays, there are amateurs who have found new comets. There are amateurs who take pictures of stars, stars that are in better focus than what hubble produced.
The Moon: surely someone could spot some mysterious object, someone not connected with any "adjenda" to deny such a find.
[EDIT]
Yes, I have more time and a few more thoughts, on this very Disquieting book.
1...There are many "analomies" in History, ancient history, and in fossil records. There are internet sites that have an "obvious" adjenda to "push, like of the Christian fundamentalists who try to prove to us all that "mankind walked with the dinosaurs", thus disproving Evolution and proving the idea of "all of the earth is created within 4000 years"!
BUT!
They dredge up from the back rooms of museums and old newspaper archives, certain objects, events. Reported events that cast a different light upon our past, like of the newspaper account of the discovery of the trail of Human footprints walking across an ancient mud flat, a heel crushed a TROILIBYTE deeper into the mud, a time way way before any dinosaur ever walked the earth!
Thus books like this ask Questions, questions that tend to be rejected, much like that account that I have read that tells of a 1970s discovery of wine Amphora, from a ship sinking, in the bay of Rio de Janeiro. A Roman, maybe, ship! The authorities, I read, placed 40 feet of mud over the ship, to make sure that no one ever found it again: too too disturbing to everyone at the University and the Powers that be, there, then!
Thus even if this book is a bit "off", the moon and mars could indeed have traces upon them of Visitors from elsewheres! Thus it takes these "radical thinkers" to find these accounts, even if they "overdramitize", perhaps, their case!
2...I have read, since, that the thinkings of some people, who have read this book, is that this advanced martian civilization was destroyed within days, by some great ???astroid?? hitting mars.
Not only does such a event, if true, unmask the fact of an advanced civilization, in our past, turning us all into "the south sea islanders 30 minutes before the first white man's ships sailed into view, thus making us all "retards"", this astroid event would cast us all into "sitting ducks", the Ultimate Vulnerability, sitting naked in the cosmos; all of us could go at any moment!!
A THOUGHT: that people who are saying that this civilization was destroyed in some great cataclysm, are actually uncounsciously Prophecising our OWN catacylysm-to-come! [2012?]
[many science fiction stories are thinly veiled prophecies, or political comments]
Or: maybe just the Fear of such happening to our own!
3...the Subject of this book , to me, has remarkable similarities to the
"Da Vinci Code", ideas: that before Jesus was the Temple cults and that they would only let the Elite be inducted into their inner
mysteries, and soon the "Elite" meant "the upper crust, people who thought themselves better in every way than of the Masses"!
Thus the idea, in this book, of the Inner circles of the Old Lodge inferring that only mankind's Elite should face the alien civilization, Meaning THEM! Then these Elite would rule over us all, the Super-race Rulers of the lower humanity, meaning "you and I"!
As even a science fiction "novel" I give this book a 5-star!
just what *would* the authorities DO, if indeed they found that the moon had Ruins on it, or even only just a 5,000 year old "moon rover" vehicle?!
would they repress it to us all over the Fear such knowledge cause?
Or, would they cover it up because they want it for themselves?
?????
----such Questions are looked at, in this book
What would you do, with a knowledge of this, knowing that mankind itself could have been Created: these aliens set up bases on the moon while they geneticly modified some apes, here on earth. That we all are Farmed, like of an Oyster farm on the seabed, and that maybe some of these Farmers are not only still out there, but that they will come back for the Harvest!!

Richard Hoagland's newest book, Dark Mission-The Secret History of NASA, along with co- author Mike Bara, looks at the hidden agendas of NASA and theorizes about the secrets that they have been hiding since its early days. Not only does it touch on the Moon and Mars mission cover ups but goes into the ritual aspects of NASA via their Egyptian connections and their quest to use a new science-Hyper Dimensional Physics- to open gates to the unknown. The book provides solid evidence for the cover ups going back to the origins of the space program, reveals how questionable key scientists and administrators were involved from its conception, and provides documentation and photographs to prove it.
The book is narrated by Mike Bara, and he does a very thorough job in documenting Hoaglins dealings with NASA and the conflicts to divulge the truth. Of note, are how the astronauts were not only debriefed after each mission, but put under hypnosis. This helps explain why many, including Edgar Mitchell, never can explain in detail what they really saw and felt on the Moon. How the Nazis, the Mason's Scottish Rite and the Magicians (astrologist and occultist) were in key positions in NASA in the 1960s {"ritual elitist"-who have, if we are right, literally stolen the entire space program for themselves from the rest of all Mankind-"space" is destined to remain the sole possession of only those with these "proper bloodlines and perspectives"...but not for any of the rest of us. {p.247}. How on countless occasions, NASA had lied, covered up, doctored photographs of the Moon and Mars and had been involved in a disinformation campaign from the beginning.
Also he theorizes about Mars and its advanced civilizations and how it was destroyed in a cataclysmic collision and how the same thing could happen to us on earth. In the extensive photo sections, Hoagland shows us the secret glass domes on the Moon, curious artifacts on Mars, the infamous "Face on Mars", and other anomalies that he claims NASA does not want us to see. Why? Because he believes that they are following the recommendations of the Brookings Institute study on ET disclosure, that we are not ready to hear the truth and it would cause widespread panic. The interesting part is it is not the average person that Brookings seems to be talking about, but the Scientists and Engineers. And Hoaglin points that out, since they always seem to be the biggest sceptics and critics of anything that goes against the grain of conventional science.
If we are the Martians, as Hoagland and others have theorized, then NASA is doing a very good job in keeping it secret. The book is an interesting read, but the chapter on Hyper Dimensional Physics is a little too technical. I found the sections on NASA's background the most interesting, and why JFK was killed, to be the best. You will have to read the book to know why this conspiracy theory ranks up there with the best of them. It is a good one. He goes into quite extensive detail about the pictures; what NASA shows us and what is really there. There is almost too much detail, so as a novice, I did get lost a few times. But, the book is not meant to be a quick read, but savored more like a fine wine, sipped slowly and appreciated.
In general this book is about the game NASA is playing to discover evidence of life beyond earth, but doing everything to denounce it and cover it up. How they follow a rigid script of ancient rituals in nearly all their actions. Quite fascinating in that NASA has always been perceived by the general public as an honest civilian agency working in the best interest of the United States and its people. But, nothing could be further from the truth. As quoted by George A. Keyworth, Science Advisor to President Reagan and Director of the Office of Science and Technology, in testimony before Congress, March 14, 1985, who said, "all government agencies lie part of the time, but NASA is the only one I've ever encountered that does it so routinely". Hoagland and Bara not only concur but prove it very convincingly.

For years NASA has acted strangely and made questionable decisions and seemed to focus on probes for exploration. They continue to deny that something's up and that their hiding things from everyone. I remember when the face on mars first came out and all the massive details that were presented to the public, then official denile and silence. Now we know why. Hoagland and Bara present their evidence in clear and detailed manner that an open-minded individual could understand if their willing. Read it for yourself and make up your own mind. Don't be afraid to learn something new, even if it's likely to change your views on things. That's part of life's fun.

Mostly conjecture on his part. The most interesting part to me was the chapter on the history of Maxwell's equations and the aether. He does give an accurate account of this history. But the rest is just BS.
Please RateDark Mission: The Secret History of NASA
An outstanding book!
(I received mine via pre-order from the store.com in October 2007)
A major contribution to the advancement of science!
This book is a "must study" for anyone who has any interest in space, the space program, NASA, and corporate politics in general.
Corporations exist to retain their secrets. The USA is a corporation, and so is NASA!
In this book, Richard Hoagland and Mike Bara point out that NASA is and always has been a classified organization, retaining its own secrets for its own purposes, reporting to only the highest offices in the US Government, and lying to the American public and to the world. Examples include the first pictures taken on the moon, pictures from the Apollo Program, pictures from Mars, and pictures from virtually every Space Shuttle Mission!
Did you know that in reality, Mars has a blue sky?
Read pages 439-440!!!
"The image showed an Arizona-like landscape: blue sky, brownish-red desert soil and grey rocks with green splotches."
"Two hours after the first color image appeared on the monitors, a technician abruptly changed the image from the light-blue sky and Arizona-like landscape to a uniform orange-red sky and landscape."
"...the order to change the colors came directly from the NASA administrator himself, Dr. James Fletcher."
Whether or not you agree with all of the book's theories, assertions, and conclusions, this book will open your eyes to the lies and overt omissions that the US Government and hence also NASA have been promoting to the world. The book is very well-written, and clearly explains all of the theories, discussions, political intrigue, and conclusions that the authors and their co-workers have found over these many years.
Trash the Brookings Report!
Read pages 90-94...
If there is hard physical evidence that there have been other civilizations previously on the Earth, the Moon, or on Mars, then perhaps we can learn something useful from their remains.
If there are other civilizations currently flourishing outside of the Earth, then we had better learn something useful from them really fast, before we destroy what we have now on Earth - either by Global warming, central banking, religious genocide, or World War III.
If any Masons out there can assist in documenting about the past, and doing something useful to promote the future, please do that!
I seriously and strongly recommend that you read this book!
