Jason Bourne has given me much pleaseure over the years. I loaded this one on kindle with anticipation.

The violence in the opening pages was over the top.

Then the scene set in Russian security felt just like that in which Jason has been involved so many times before - in Russia or the US.

The book turned me off and did not interest me enough to continue readingg.

Without a doubt, this must be the most undesirable book of the Bourne saga. It does not belong in the collection. It is very tepid in access, boring in content and very difficult to follow due to much too much excess verbage over nothing. I am sorry to have read it as I shall be doubly skepitcal looking at the next one. Robert Ludlums' Bourne Dominionas written by a ghost of Van Lustbader. Even he could not write this poorly. Unfortunately the character of Jason Bourne has developed into a superman who can sustain incredible wounds, injuries and can continue to carry on as though virtually nothing had happened.

To me, this makes the story too far into the fiction, rather than possibly credible secret service agent field.

But well written.

I would apply these comments to all the Jason Bourne series listed below
The Bourne Legacy (Jason Bourne) :: The Bourne Sanction :: On the Beach :: Lucifer's Hammer :: Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Ascendancy (Jason Bourne series)

A very skillfully written piece of work that has kept me from completing my work at times....many times I had to put away this book and willed myself not to touch it just to get my work done. I work in a fast paced environment (Meteorology) located in an international airport. This book I recommend to anyone that likes fast pace plots with lots of twists and turns.

I like Jason Bourne and this was fine and entertaining. I don't need to justify all of the plot's or I would never have migrated past Superman, Batman, etc. It's good entertainment and I'm already on the next one in the series. Thanks...

Slow start. Character name similarities was confusing at times, however the plot and sub-plots ( of which there were several) draws the reader into the book to the end. Another success for Van Lustbader!
