This was an amazing ride. Allie, what a great heroine. Loved being in her head. Loved seeing how she handled everything. Kanin, wow. Zeke * sigh. It started out slow and because of Allie's personality, it took some time to connect. But then the connection cemented itself. A wonderful start on this dark and twisted journey. 4.5 stars!

the whole street rat bit turning into a vampire was pretty cool and though she finds love she ends up losing it which really sucks because in my opinion I think she diserved something to let her be happy even though I can tell theres gonna be trouble ahead for her.

I loved this book because the protagonist is someone young girls can really admire. Instead of being the damsel in distress Allison is a strong willed, courageous, young girl who kicks butt. Wonderful read and I can't wait to see how this series turns out!

This book was amazing! It had me from the beginning and I couldnt put it down. Good twist on old vamp folklore added to new interesting info. I didnt feel like I was reading "anather vampire book". Perfect balance of everything!

I loved this book the suspense horror everything. I would highly recommend it. The only thing I don't like is that they sort of leave you hang in at the end and don't say if Allison ever finds her sire I hope this author comes out with a second book to it.

This author is brilliant. I loved every page of this book. I was excited to read an original vampire story as some other reviewers had said it was. They were absolutely right, original and fresh story and very well written. My only complaint is that I have to wait for the next book of the series!
