I have enjoyed all the Erica Foster books, though perhaps this one a little less. Some of it felt overly contrived .... it didn't feel like the paths taken were natural. But have enjoyed watching Erica grow and develop and I look forward to her next case.

I've been reading his whole series about DCI Erika - and this latest one is fab! I can't wait for the next one. The people in his books are so relatable and I usually read his books in a couple settings cuz I can't put them down. I love his books and the series are fantastic.

I, like many others absolutely love Erika Foster! I enjoy reading the thrilling events of her life. If you love gripping thrillers, you will love this series. I have just ordered #5 and can not wait for it to come out! Robert, you are my new favorite author.

Fantastic read! I first came across Robert Bryndza while reading Angela Marsons' series and absolutely fell in love with his writing. He writes a fast-paced serial thriller and each installment is better than the last. Great character depth and suspense. What you think is going to happen, goes in a completely different direction. Applause for Bryndza on Last Breath...keep them coming!

Murder mysteries are my favorite and this does not disappoint. DCI Foster finds herself seeking a psycho serial murderer who's victims come closer together. Chilling when you realize the real life implications with online dating. I've followed this character now throughout this series and look forward to what lies ahead!

I love the Erika Foster series but this one really took me on a knuckle biting ride. The characters are real and unforgettable. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a fast paced thrilling read.

Have loved both of Robert Bryndza's books so far. I like the characters who seem more solid than in some other books I have read (or not read due to shallow characters).
Anyway, his stories pull me in and make it difficult for me to tear away to do other important things. Great build-up and thrilling ends. I look forward to the next one!

I have read all four Erica Foster books and loved them all! Just waiting for another....and it could be found moving in any direction! Mr. Bryndza is a superb story teller. I will be trying out some of his other book themes, while awaiting another Erica Foster book! :)

Another good one. Erika again was outstanding. Plot was interesting. Other characters are also very good Peterson and Moss. Running into the office worker when he had the girl in the trunk was not expected. Hope he will do more of this series.

Oh the poor girls that were killed. You will just shake your head as you read what the person who commits these terrible acts, does to the woman. A headstrong police officer charts her own way into solving crimes.

I love this series. Erika Foster is a fantastic heroine, flaws and all. The supporting characters are also very likable, which makes reading every part of the books enjoyable. I'm so glad I found this series right when it began and I look forward to many more!

Huge fan of Robert Bryndza and the Erika Foster series. All of the books have been absolutely brilliant, but this one stepped it up a notch.
My only question is ... how long do we have to wait for Book 5 in the series?

This one was written a little differently than the previous books with us getting a glimpse at who the killer was earlier but it was still exciting waiting to see when DCI Foster and her team would figure it out. I have loved every book so far but this one.....the changes in relationships, losses, I really enjoyed Erica's storyline this book and can't wait to see how her love life and career progress!!

As usual, Bryndza's plots are gripping. This latest crime story had me reading faster and faster to find out what was going to happen, only to go back to savor his prose more leisurely. Erika Foster has become a real person to me.

Robert Bryndza's DCI Erika Foster series is suspenseful from beginning to end. It's one of those books that you don't want to put down & can't wait to pick back up again! I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment in this series.

My reviews always revolve around the same premise. I'm a lover of the mystery novels and came across Robert by chance. A free book offer by the store pulled me into his novels and now I wait in anticipation of his next release!

Another surefire winner in the Erika Foster series. A serial killer is abducting young, dark haired women, torturing them, then cutting their femoral artery. Erika, Peterson, and Moss are on the case.
Even though the killer is known throughout the story, we still have a lot to learn about who he is and why he's driven to kill. The development of the main characters continues and we see through Erika's actions just how passionate she is about her work. She's still a bit hesitant about her relationship with Peterson but I've really enjoyed the way the author has taken his time with it, letting it slowly unfold as Erika comes to grips with these new found feelings.
The plot itself, while nothing new, is still riveting because of the people involved in the story and their own unique personalities. They painstakingly work the clues, search for evidence, and build their case. While I much prefer a US setting and seldom buy books set in a foreign country, with this author I make an exception. I snap up his work as soon as it hits the shelves and get straight to reading it. This one didn't disappoint. That the killer searches for his targets on social media comes as no surprise but the fact he takes his time building a phone profile, creating a persona his next victim will surely be attracted to, makes you wonder just who you can believe these days. Do you chat with strangers? Do you honestly think they are who they say they are? Are you being set up like the young women in the story? And how much information is safe to share with others? Just what are you setting yourself up for? It certainly makes you stop and think about it!
This one I definitely recommend! It kept me turning the pages and I finished it in just a few hours time.

Absolutely could not put it down! Even though the un-sub is known from the start.... you don't know why... and that is most intriguing. Getting to know Erika a bit more with each book is very exciting and I can't wait to read what happens next! The use of social media is clever and accurate, a must read that I highly recommend!

I was not disappointed in this 4th Erika Foster book! The first three were great and this one was even better! I was happy to see Erika let go a little and enjoy a private life. She was so hard on herself in the first 3 books after her husband was killed. She is more in balance now. I would like to see a love triangle between her, Peterson and Marsh. I think Marsh has feelings for her and vice versa. I like Peterson very much also. This could be a good twist. I'm excited that Erika will be promoted and will not be treated so unfairly as she was before. She deserves respect. I also noticed that Bryndza went a bit on the dark side this time and I liked it. The scenes between the killer and Bryona were priceless. I don't want to do a spoiler though. Overall, a can't put it down book!! Please hurry with book 5.

This latest book in the Detective Erika Foster series centres on a remorseless serial killer who finds his next victim online. As with books 1-3 of this incredible series, Robert Bryndza weaves a gripping, complicated story with several threads running at the same time putting us on the edge of our seats hoping Erika will catch up with this "needle in a haystack" of pure evil in greater London in time before he prevails over his next victim.
It's a truly harrowing read.
As always, Bryndza delivers creepy with a capital C and tension from page 1 to the bitter end. His fans will follow Erika anywhere and while I think I personally liked book #1 and #3 the most of this series (because in those two we have to work out the identities of the killers), this book is another tour de force.
The theme is so important also, beware of social media, folks! Watch out what we share with the world. Can't wait for the next book of this series and I love how Bryndza keeps delivering really top-quality stories. He must be exhausted from being in the mind of such a remorseless killer.
Last Breath is an unputdownable, relentless, you'll-read-it-in-one-go wallop of scary ickiness that'll suck the air out of you!
I was provided with an ARC from NetGalley and Bookouture (thank you!!) but had already also pre-ordered this for its release on APRIL 12.

This author keeps getting better & better, if that's possible. Love Erika & find Peterson intriguing. Don't know if they're a good match, but until someone better comes along, keep him involved with her!

Erika is evolving more and more, she still has trouble with authority, but she is starting to comprehend the toll it takes to be the one in charge.
The killer in this instance was more twisted and looked to cover his tracks a lot.
A good read.

If you like murder mysteries, serial killer thrillers, you'll love Robert Bryndza books. He is new to me but already I've burned through two of his books. His characters are likable and his story lines credible. Give him a go.
