Where is Scot Harvath? Other than one of the women wnting to jump his bones, he is present on about 8 pages!
Start another series with these girls if you must - but warn us because I won't read it !

Fast paced Brad Thor thriller follows the all girl team - 4 versions of Wonder Woman - thru a global conspiracy to destroy the US by EMP devices in key spots. I hope to read more about this versatile team. Enjoy!

Great off shoot and pretty refreshing. Especially, after reading spec ops friction for such a long time, it is very fresh take. The ladies were as efficient by still retains lots of feminine side. A great read!

Very disappointed in Brad Thor with this novel. First off ... Scott Harvath isn't even mentioned in it. Secondly, I don't want to read a fictitious fair tale about a female black ops team. This would be like Lee Child releasing a book in the Reacher Series where Jack Reacher is now Sally Sundance. I've seen these tactics with Clive Cusler as well. Not content with keeping with a successful character ( as well as introducing "ghost writers" ). I know at some point authors need to change course, but at least give us warning BEFORE we waste our money. I will definitely be more careful about ordering books from these authors in the future.

I was really looking forward to this book but "ugh". A team of Charlies Angels special ops the stores, lead by an alpha male in search of 70 year old Nazi teleportation devices? Thor's books used to have some factual basis. I guess i will stick to Vince Flynn. This was more like a graphic novel for teen-geeks, without the pics of heaving the store-commando breasts.ugh

Brad Thor writes a good story and The Athena Project is exactly that. A page turner with several threads that tie up nicely in the end. While the idea of "teleportation" is on the edge of believability, it is not so far fetched as one might think. My only criticism would be the "chase" scenes that were a little cliche, maybe too much like recent films. However, if you want a good read that lets you escape, then you can't go wrong with this one.
