As a former NCAA division 1 tennis coach, I particularly appreciate the George Boiardi story. Here is a guy who set the example each day for selflessness, work ethic, and serving others. Readers beware that after learning about George and the life he led, it will be high time to put the excuses away forever.

As a High School Activities Director, I am always looking to find ways to challenge, encourage and stretch my Athletic Coaching Staff. I was able to couple Gordons' The Hard Hat and You Win in the Locker Room First and present an excellent platform for discussion throughout the season along with during their evaluation.

Having read all of Jon Gordon's other books, picking this one up was a no brainer. Very quickly I realized that this book was very different from the others. After reading this book you can add my life to the number of people that George has touched and made better. I strongly recommend this book for anyone that wants more from life. In reading this book it has cemented the realization that to get more from life I have to be and give more. Thank you George!
