Sociopathic bikers and a clandestine kingpin make this latest a fairly good mystery novel. The dialogue however, between Will and Sara and Sara and Lena made me wonder if was reading some discarded 2:00 PM soap opera script. All in all it was a fair read.

In order to really appreciate the story and characters you need to have read previous Grant county/Will Trent books.
That being said I couldn't put the book down! Leave it to Karin Slaughter to keep you on the edge of your seat. Not for the feign hearted due to the amount of violence required for the plot.

Karin Slaughter is my new favorite author. If you enjoy books by Lee Child, Michael Connelly, etc. I guarantee Slaughter will not disappoint. Her characters are so well-written you feel like you really know them. I like her so much I just ordered 3 more of her books from the store.
Snatched: Will Trent, Book 6 :: Faithless: A Novel (Grant County) :: Undone: A Novel (Will Trent) :: The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison (April 01 :: A Faint Cold Fear

I have read every book Karin Slaughter has written, and I can't wait for the next one. Excellent story, really delivered closure for some of the characters I have grown so attached to.....and also opened the doors for other relationships to bloom. I highly recommend reading Karins books!!

Karen Slaughter's prose is always compelling and her characterization is always better than good. If suspense novels with continuing characters whose relationships with one another grow richer and more complex with each book are your first choice for reading, then you can't do better than Karin Slaughter.

Once again, Ms. Slaughter has sucked you into the story from the first page. Didn't think I could get as involved with Sarah in the Will Trent stories as I was with the Grant County series, but I was so wrong. I said I'd never pay this much for an e-book, but I did for Karin Slaughter. Think the price should be less since you don't have a tangible, printed book, to put on your bookshelf and loan to friends. But that said, can't wait for her next one.

The characters are interesting; Will Trent is admirable. Tension builds. Background stories are revealed slowly. There is a good twist at the end. I have liked other of Karin Slaughter's books; this did not disappoint. If suspense/mystery/romance is your favorite genre, then this is a 4.5.

Karin writes the best books ever, I just recently started reading her books. I usually can't wait to the end
to see how the book ends, I have to read the ending, about 2/3 through and then finish reading it.

Karin Slaughter is the best writer of mystery/crime fiction around. I love her recurring characters and her plots move swiftly, with constant action and plot twists. I cannot recommend her highly enough but do read her books in order to follow changes in her main character's lives.

Another nail biter! I loved seeing a new side to Lena. I always route for her, she's so broken, but it was definitely time to give her a break and let her softer side come through. Will and Sarah are amazing together as law a us. But the suspense in this book was the star! I literally read this in one day!

I greatly enjoy Karin Slaughter's Grant County series. I like the characters, except Lena. This one was a little confusing keeping the characters straight but I didn't sit down and reading it all at once which is probably why. I would read it again and I would recommend it to everyone. Looking forward to the next one.

This book is good on balance, but it drags through a lot of repetitive character development, and all the characters are suffering from some degree of despair and depression. Come on, we read this for the mystery and suspense, which is pretty good, not to explore the depths of despairing souls.

Another great book in Karin Slaughters series. I really enjoy that there IS a series so that you don't have to say goodbye to the characters and I like how the separate series characters link together and build on each other. Cant wait to read the next book in the series - hope I don't have to wait too long!

These characters are like good ole' friends. I've read all of them and can't wait till the next one. This one especially good with bends and turns through out, I was a little suspicious getting toward the end, but Nora always has those few tid bits that are unexpected. Read and enjoy?

Good Book . She never disappoints me. Love her writing. This book waits too long to really get you interested. The who done it shows up toward the end. Her other novel spreads the 'who done it' from the very beginning, she delayed the possible guilty till half of book

Slaughter's Will Trent series books are very enjoyable to read and this one was no exception. This was perhaps not her best storyline, but still worth reading. I have read all of her books. I recommend reading them in order, but they can be read well in isolation as well.

Karin Slaughter's newest novel "Unseen" continues her series featuring Will Trent and Sara Linton. Slaughter's characters live on the pages in a manner which breathes life into them for her readers. If you have not read Slaughter, do yourself a favor. Start with Blindsighted and hold on for the ride! Each book is complete within itself, but start at the beginning and come to know and grow with the characters. Enjoy!

I have been devouring Karin Slaughter's novels for the past couple of months.
Mostly the more recent novels.
The characters (Will Trent, Amanda, Faith, Sarah, Lena.....etc.) seem so real I can't stop reading about them.
Great story telling.

I highly recommend reading the Will Trent series. Love the twists and turns and the police investigations. Love the interactions with the characters. I was so happy to see Will & Sara's relationship become so much more in this book.

I became a fan of Slaughter with Blindsighted & have purchased (and enjoyed) all her novels. I'm not a big fan of Will Trent & this series. It's a lot of brooding detective with secret past & not up to par of her normal writing. It lacks suspense.

Karin Slaughter has been one of my favorite authors for years but I am sick to death of Lena Adams. Hopefully thus was the last we will see of her. I also thought the plot had holes big enough to drive a Mack truck through. I hope her next novel is better.

The plot for this book was very satisfying. The main characters are finally working through some of their demons. Lena is starting to grow up, Will is getting to know himself and Sara may actually turn into a tolerable person

Very hard to follow. The characters are not believable...and the story line is disjointed. Don't bother unless you like a lot of bad language in boring dialogue. The only saving grace is the wrap up at the end.

Just another case of excellent writing by Ms. Slaughter. Suspenseful and page turning with every chapter. Love Will Trent & Sara. I hope they make it work. Looking forward to reading more of Karin Slaughter's masterful writing skills.

Slaughter as usual is at top form. She managed to keep me as a reader even though I was really shocked by her killing off Sara's husband and still do not like her woman deputy character who was the cause of his death. Even though this last book tries to give her a little more depth. I am still wondering about the character of Will and if he will take all attention from Sara?

I have loved reading Karin Slaughter every since I read one of her first books, "Blind Sighted" I also had a love/hate reaction when she killed off Jeffrey Tolliver,in one of her books, one of THE main characters. It was so unexpected and the death felt so real. It took me a long time to forgive her but I just couldn't stay away. That! is what's called a gifted writer-someone who can get under your skin, make you mad, sad, cry, laugh, and make her characters seem so real is SO GOOD!

This is the first and only book by Karen Slaughter I have read. It was a little slow getting started, maybe I was slow picking up the pace myself. Over time the plot became more intriguing and it was a great reward after that. Highly recommended

I love all of Karin Slaughter's books. Ever since I picked up one of her books on a whim from the sales pile at Barnes & Noble I have been unable to put down her books. I actually mark on my calendar when new books of hers are coming out!

Karin Slaughter writes amazing crime novels and has succeeded yet again. Unseen brings back some of the drama last seen in the Grant County collection while combining it with the always suspenseful Will Trent collection. This novel has you continuing to turn the page waiting for the next shocking moment and always hopeful that our favorite characters will make it out alive! As always I can't wait for the next novel!

Very well-written and suspense-filled book! I love Will Trent and Sara! They work well off each other's personalities. It was also good to get more of Sara's "back story" and this book really filled in some holes. I want more!!!

Knowing Will from previous books by Karin Slaughter I knew there would be a case to solve along with things changing in his personal life. I like series books so that there is a continuing stoy to follow along with the always interesting cases to be solved.

Loved the suspense and plot twists. I especially like the Will Trent character . I am so disappointed that this is the last book in the series. I'm hooked and sincerely hoping for book number eight.

Yet another gripping page turner, time and time again for those of us who have read her other books I found myself equally frustrated in turn with both familiar female lead characters and yet, the story would not stand up without them. Well written and thoroughly thought provoking, thank you.

Karin Slaughter is my favorite author by far. I count the days until her next release, which I've never done for any other author or any other series. She's amazing. Never would I have imagined myself a fan of this genre but her stories and characters captivate. I'm completely a fan of Sara Linton and absolutely in love with Will Trent - they can break my heart or make me soar, completely dependent upon what the character is going through at the time. Keep them coming, Karin!

Too much real foul language, and it was as though I had already read some of it - I do not think I have. Bored me - slow read. Her books are usually better than this one. I would not recommend this one.
