The something lost was the flavor of Lochdubh in the last novel in this series; here, we are reunited with the great character of the Scottish Highlands which disappeared and thank goodness Hamish actually goes FISHING - true to character. Of course there is murder, whiskey and women. Find out if Archie's wife finally stopped boiling his clothes! I thoroughly enjoyed my annual sojourn in Lochdubh! If only Hamish would begin to age. Aesop would have enjoyed this LLPOF tale.
