Again never disappointed with Mr. Robertsons writing. Gripping storylines that keep you enthralled. Well fleshed out characters that make you feel you might very well know them. I look forward to the next in this trilogy.

A nice story line with plenty of action....could have used a bit more attention to detail.
I will no longer be reviewing any books or stories because I feel that I should be able to write as much or as little as I desire and not be required to submit "X" amount of words in my review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Robert Heinlein, David Drake, and John Ringo are the only modern authors who in the past have grabbed my attention by the collar and made me WANT to finish a series because it was good, not just because l hoped something good might transpire. Mr. Robertson is right there with them. Ripped through the Breakers series, and now ingesting the Cycle of Arwan. Good stuff indeed.

Hard to believe a fifteen year old could accomplish so much, but with magic the skys the limit! Held my attention to the end. A stand alone book but I am looking forward to the next in the series. Nice twists and turns

I loved this book! The bond between Dante and Blays is amazing. The story is familiar, but changed enough to keep your interest. I could not put it down once I started reading. I bought copies for all my friends.

Very interesting fantasy tale. I wasn't sure I liked it at first but really got into the story as I went on. The characters are well developed and the action is none stop with a twist at the end. Made me want to read the next book.

I must say that usually these books are substandard, full of errors and poorly developed plots and characters, but this is a well written story with likable characters, great scenery and story development. The ending did not feel rushed and left hope of a sequel. Buy this book, you will not regret it.

This book sucks you in and instantly gives you the hunger to know what happens next. The plot development and the character development are par non and the world is captivating and intriguing. I look forward to the next two, I'll be purchasing them soon.

I enjoyed reading this and have just purchased the next in the series. He writes the way people think, and pulls from a reservoir of insights that we can all relate to in one way or another. I am now a fan after just one book. Great job and happy reading to you all!

I do not like bad reviews. Here is my disclaimer: just because I didn't particularly like this book doesn't mean it was bad. It goes back to that lame line "It's not you it's me"...someone else, and probably lots of someone else's would love this book. I however found it to blather on and almost added it to the DNF pile. However, it could have been because I was anxious to start another book in my TBR. Who knows...I did enjoy the comical one liners from the sidekick, and there were a few great scenes, but for some reason I can't place, this fantasy just felt like I was trying to force myself to drink (and enjoy) a flat soda. ?
