Absolutely loved the CD set as it is slightly different from the book . Non-duality audio sets like this are nearly impossible to find unless you are willing to listen to entire talks and retreats , which are often disjointed because the participants are asking different questions about different subject matters . I got much more out of the CD set than I did out of reading the book because I am not a good reader and I tend to take a long time to finish physically reading a book whereas I go thru audiobooks at a much quicker pace . High praise to Sounds True for professionally producing such a great audio CD set .

Jeff Foster is such an great inspiration, and in this book he provides a beautiful, warm and humorous expression of the wisdom and love that we all are, with a raw, radical simplicity that just blows my mind, literally speaking. No more airy-fairy tales, no more non-nense, no more false promises; I much rather prefer the mature, honest way to end the suffering, through the one and only REAL authority - life itself.
I am at the stage in my life where the "waves" are quite heavy (aren't they always, when we are at war with reality...), but with Jeff's gentle invitations and reminders, I can see, moment by moment, that when I acknowledge the "waves", I am not drowning. I am fleeting, in grace, held by love.
Soo... my heart dwells of gratitude, joy and relief, and I believe many will benefit from this book.

Words are not enough to explain the subtle truth, but this filled some gaps for me. I keep thinking about my wish for control of the moment when I notice misery. Letting go of that seems a key for me. Thanks for this book

Jeff does a beautiful job of pointing, in a myriad of creative ways, to the stark and simple truth (That) we are all already living. I have the audio book and as his words flow like honey I feel like he is lovingly reminding me of something I already know: This is it. His reminders have helped me to relax and witness life unfolding before me just as effortlessly as the ground seems to meet my feet with every step. I am grateful to Jeff and would not hesitate to recommend this book to one who is seeking for ... something.

THE DEEPEST ACCEPTANCE really calls the ego's major "trick"; resistance to WHAT IS. Without this resistance, the ego would wither and die.
So, accepting deeply whatever comes is a great strategy for resistance-free living and for total happiness. Why resist what is?
It is crazy, if you think about it for a moment. What is, IS. Why not fully accept and embrace it?
Finally, since we do create our own reality, you might as well accept everything because you, as a creator, drew it to yourself!
Accepting 100% responsibility for our creations is the sane way to live.

A very fine non duality book, not focused on concepts about awakening but rather on the most ordinary range of feelings, emotions, relashionships and the "personal",the human condition which is quite rare in non duality teachings often stuck in the absolute dismissing the relative...this book challenges also the false ideas about awakening, liberation and so on and always comes back to the deepest acceptance (not done by you)of the present experience as painful it could be;worth a good read perhaps with the completion of the last book from Charlie hayes "simply being"!

Since i read the deepest acceptance, I feel I understand so much more the suffering of us all and i'm also less affected by it. While I was reading it, I felt a tranquillity so profound... It can't be put into words.

When I received my copy of this book, I instantly felt the warmth and depth of its content. I understood something automatically without even having read a page. Jeff as a person is a wonderful example of how all humans should be. He cares. The Deepest Acceptance goes straight to the heart and blasts one open with compassion and truth. This book, like anything genuine or real will find you, when you are ready. Grateful.

More I listened, the more disappointing. I could barely get through listening to this audio book.
The author attempts to speak from a spiritually realized person's perspective. It becomes apparent he is not. There is a great deal of relevant subject matter in relation to acceptance blended together with the ego's ramblings that distort the truth as well. This is but one example why those without having specific knowledge about spiritual matters would best refrain from presenting what is personally deemed as legitimate and wholly reliable.
Presenting information as though it is fact. The pretending to know when isn't yet assumed a reliable source to depend upon. Collections of information, study and presumption cannot be equated with actual experience.
Spirit's action really cannot be entirely comprehended. That will always be at least somewhat a mystery. Attempting to do so is wildly ignorant. There is suggestion that the "Ocean" in no way takes exception to the behavior of "waves" essentially that every action is void of consequence. Not so. Even while Spirit is ultimately not affected, that does not necessarily mean that there aren't or won't be consequences to whatever might stimulate a response from occurring.
I don't doubt that Jeff is brilliant, interested, has obviously experienced much pain and hardship and has begun the process of inquiry. At issue is that his perspectives are considerably distorted. In that regard, will be of limited service to the reader because there is insufficient understanding.
2.5 stars based on being interested, compassion, artful presentation and style. Lacking accuracy. A great deal of ignorance here. It is reckless to assume that there aren't consequences for choices or how we respond, in particular. There's a lot to like while much of the commentary simply goes a bit too far.
If you chose to read, it should be with careful discernment that what is presented is more or less a new age psychological discussion of sorts, however sincere it may be. There is a great deal of sharing about acceptance that is useful. Unfortunately, that is mixed in with assumptions about how Spirit functions that distorts truth. Limitation for being able to separate what is real from what is true.
Best to you along your path.
