Fade Out: The Morganville Vampires

Not the best one in the series. However, Rachel Caine has a way of pulling you into the story, as if you are there with the characters. Her details are amazing and very real. I am surprised this is in the young adults section, her books have made me sleep with the light on once or twice :)

This book had a different twist! I knew right from the beginning that there was something wrong with Kim. I felt bad for Eve, being used like that. I still would like to get to the bottom of the relationship between Kim and Shane. It seems like there was more there than what Shane is leading on to.

Moving on to the next book....

Does anyone know how many books there are going to be total in this series????

This is the 7th book in the Morganville Vampires.
I love the way Rachel Caine put's these books together. There is always something new in each story. This one was no different then the last, Very enjoyable to read and I am ready to pick up the next one.
I do recommend that you start from book one when reading The Morganville Vampires, so that you don't get lost about what has already happened in the story!

I really enjoyed this book. The story is fast moving and exciting. I like that the relationship between Claire and Shane seems to be maturing. Sometimes after 5-6 books a series can get a bit boring but this is book 7 in the Morganville Vampire series and I found it anything but boring! Keep them coming Rachel Caine! Can't wait for book 8.

Just when you think things are going to be normal, something else happens! And as always, it's something that makes it hard for me to put the book down. Maybe someone ought to start listening to Claire! Even though she is a newby to town, she sure knows what she's talking about!

This might be my favorite book in the Morganville series thus far. I love the way the story flows smoothly from one book to the next. However, that means you need to start at the beginning of the series if you want the plot and characters to make sense.

Love Rachel Caine's Weatherwarden series and this is just as well written. The characters are captivating and the story line keeps you hooked. The series may have been targeting the teen audience but I love it and am well past my teens.

This book wasnt' as intense as the other Morganville books. I feel like this book was missing something. Ada goes crazy here and you want to just choke her and Eve's new BFF Kim.... Urgh! I still didnt like what Kim got in the end.

This book was a total disappointment. The entire plot lacked the suspense and thrill of the previous books and felt more like Rachel was trying to drag the story out. What happened to the nonstop action, drama, and suspense? This book accomplished in 256 pages what the first six books would have accomplished in 3 chapters. Despite this, I will read on and finish the series-I'm in too deep.

I started reading this series because my daughter wanted to read them. It is now a series I look forward to sitting down with. I learned a lesson with this one don't start the book at bedtime. It has been some time since I wanted to skip sleep to finish a book. I read this cover to cover in one sitting. The characters are so real in their unreal world. I would recommend it for the 15+ group.
