My kids watch GMM all the time, so this was on both their lists for Christmas. I gave it to the 15 year old instead of the 9 year old after reading some of the reviews and content. So glad I did. Even the 15 year old suggested it was probably a bit mature for the younger one.

I give 4 stars because the book isn't for me, so I don't know if the content is good. Lol. My hubby and son watch this show every morning, never miss a new episode, and hubby specifically told me he wanted this book, so I prefer ordered it. Of course 2 days after I got it he informed me he wants the signed copy, so I gave it to him a d told him too late. Lol. He was so excited, like a kid getting a new video game. So, I would say this book is a win. He has shown me a few things out of it and they were funny, so for sure win. Guess I'll actually give it a 4 star

I have been a GMM fan since extremely early on in the show. What can I say, these guys get it. The book is incredible! It is the perfect balance between the essence of adulthood and reminiscing over their childhood growing up together building on their lifelong friendship. Full of quirky humor and interesting concepts all throughout the book. If you are a TRUE MYTHICAL BEAST, then this book is a MUST OWN. (Especially if you are going to one of their tour shows : It will prepare you for it ) If you have never watched Rhett and Link in either Good Mythical Morning or their original context of (Rhett and Link) This book is a good way to get to you interested in checking out their creations. Birthday present, Christmas present. There is things in the book for ALL AGES to enjoy. Thank you Rhett and Link for making such an awesome book.

Pure R&L, but so much more. An entertaining escape from day to day concerns, but filled with subtle "lessons", for lack of a better word, that you can't help but apply to making your own life a bit better, with reminders of what's good in life, and how to enjoy it. The book knows what it is, but through its honest and uplifting nature can't help but be more. I ended up getting the Audible version, as well, to have a chuckle and a little brightness on the go, whenever I need it. If you already enjoy R&L, this book is a must. If you're not familiar, but like fun, happy reads, R&L's Book of Mythicality is well worth a go, and a great way to get to know these two intelligent, thoughtful, hilarious, relatable guys, who are certaily very well worth getting to know.

I know that Rhett and Link's book will be a great read because everything else that they do is fantastic but, I must warn fellow Kindle Readers. Your Kindle may struggle to download the book and you may have to attempt to do so a few times. That is what happened with me. I'm not sure if it is a glitch with the Kindle or the fact that the book has just been released but be on the look out for it!

I've been a fan of Rhett and Link for many years. Their 34 year best-friendship and the adventures they've shared together, both in their personal lives and in their business partnership, are lovingly also shared with us through this beautifully written and illustrated book. If you've watched Good Mythical Morning and sought out their earlier videos, you can't help but feel a kind of pride at how far they've come - and how they did it without losing their humor and down-to-earthness. I heartily recommend this book.

This book is perfect. The writing is comedic, but also poignant. Getting a glimpse into Rhett and Link's lives gives GMM a lot more perspective. I would recommend this for any fan of Rhett and Link, whether you are a super fan or just a casual viewer. Absolutely worth your time.

I bought this for my son. He is not a reader, but he really wanted this book. It’s actually very interesting and we have all enjoyed hearing about the stories. My son loves it! Thank you, Rhett & Link for your hours of clean entertainment!

Rhett and Link, the stars the the legendary YouTube show Good Mythical Morning, released their first book, The Book of Mythicality, as an autobiography of their lives and a manifesto of their philosophy- Mythicality. This book, with its come-follow-me attitude and comedic tone, is sure to delight avid fans but falls short of having much relevance to anyone else.

I was excited for this book after I read the short google preview but I am ultimately disappointed. Just a couple of dudes recounting their younger years, which is fine I guess but I don’t care to read it. Some of it is kinda funny but for the most part it’s kinda dumb.

The essential guide to all things mythical. Our family has enjoyed the Mythical Entertainment products for years now and now this guide is a behind the scenes look at the men who brighten our days. A delightful read and inspiration to all who aspire for Mythicality! Thank you so much Rhett and Link!

Lile most purchasers of this book, I am a fam of Rhett and Link. I've been watching Good Mythical Morning and all things Rhett and Link since about mid 2016. I've spent the past year + catching up and I am current to the series. I must say, I truly enjoy their work. They make me laugh, the ask silly questions, they make me think and they often have me gagging. I had high hopes for the book and I wasn't disappointed.

The book is a combination of stories and recommendations for living mythically (you'll have to read the book to understand what that means). The stories are both reveealing of Rhett and Link, but also with a purpose to get you to a desired destination of mythicality. I had multiple instances where I was laughng out loud, which is not uncommon when watching GMM (but is not terribly common when reading a book).

The book quality is high. The pictures are clear, and the pages are nice and thick.

My only wish is that the book had come with some sort of knick knack (a patch, a sticker, a book mark, etc.).

I hope the guys write another book of just fun recommendations for life.

Was going to rate it one star, I bought this book for the reading material, but it opened my eyes instead. I didn't sign up for a life changing experience. Darn you Rhett and Link, you're lucky you added pretty pictures.

I was really excited to get my hands on this book, and very happy there is an ebook, as shipping paper version to my location would be very expensive. Now, I am just very disappointed. The ebook version is made of (badly)!scanned pages when stuff is out of place and sometimes unreadable. Some ‘pages’ (again, scanned pictures) resize to quarter of my kindle screen for whatever reason. I am aware this is very picture heavy book, but it’s not an excuse to do it like this and sell this as ebook. It’s not. I would think that with Rhett and Link being internetainers they would work the technology a bit more, or control those that prepared the book. For the kindle version alone I’d give it one star.

Having said that it’s a great book for fans and those new to all things mythical. Fun and creative and I would recommend buying it to any adult for the contents. But maybe stick to paper version.
In total 3 stars.

First let me say that I regret buying the eBook. Mistake on my part - I didn't realize when I pre-ordered it that it would have the illustrations and physical-book-heavy gags. That's on me. But as far as the content goes, there just weren't any new stories for someone who has seen virtually every episode of GMM. I get that when you do a daily internet show where you talk about your life you go through most of your good stories on the show, but I was under the impression from the way the guys talked about the book that it was full of stories they hadn't really talked about for one reason or another. It's definitely more what the title suggests: a field guide to mythicality, and is better suited for somebody with only a cursory familiarity with GMM. I'm a big fan of the show, a loyal Beast, all that, I think I just went into this with the wrong expectations.
Get the physical book (or the audiobook maybe, but not the eBook), and understand what you're getting, and you'll enjoy this more than I did.

I've read a number of Youtuber books, and despite watching Good Mythical Morning for several years,I thought this one was just ok. I really liked hearing more about Rhett and Link's relationships with their wives and their childhoods. However, their tomfoolery lacks any sort of self-awareness of their privilege.

Note: I read this on my classic Kindle with a library loan from Overdrive. There are many graphic elements which were hard to read on a classic Kindle.

...and if you’re not, though it’s a good introduction to them, it doesn’t convey as well their appeal and charm like watching them does. (I AM a fan so, I belong to the “enjoyed it a lot” camp.) I actually read the book that I borrowed from the library (yup, I’m just that old that I still sometimes use a library) at the same time I was listening to the audiobook from Audible, because I figured from reading reviews on the store that I might miss out on some of the photos and “visual aids” if I just listened to audio of it. And, I was right - though I preferred hearing the guys narrate - I watch them daily so, get much more out of listening to them - you really DO miss out on a good bit without seeing the paper version. So, for a totally immersive RandL experience, I recommend buying both! : )

Anyway, back to the book. As said, i think it’s seems really geared toward already-established fans - Mythical Beasts, as it were - but, I do think because it’s well-written and some sections are pretty in depth, you get a good feeling for what brought these guys together, how they work, and a taste of their type of humor. As a hard-core fan of Weird Al Yankovic since the mid-1970s - thank you, Dr Demento (told you I was old) I found myself nodding my head, understanding a bit of where their humor might derive from.

I have to say, however, that my favorite parts were anecdotes about the guys themselves - about the experiences they shared or had individually, their families, what was important to them - that kind of thing. If they ever find themselves in a position of wanting to expand on that kind of thing, I dare say myself and many of their other fans would definitely jump all over that one, even more than they did on this - which was a lot!

I’m actually very late to the game, here - I just discovered them late last year, and have been catching up as best I can with the thousands of GMM, GMMore, Chia Lincoln, Mythical Crew episodes, and as much as I can access of Buddy System - to say nothing of their music videos, commercials, skits, whatever else I can find - so, with all that content, they’ve been unintentionally consuming whatever free time I can muster. Why? Because they’re funny. Really funny.

While some of their humor is DEFINITELY geared to a much younger demographic than I’m part of, their humor is intelligent enough (well, skip the pig gonads and junk) that even people my age (I’m sure I’m old enough to be their mom!) can find it, and them, appealing. Even my husband, who often doesn’t always understand what I find funny, thinks that they are. (No, he’s not addicted like I am but, there’s my obsessive tendencies, creeping in.)

I, in fact, hope they expand more of what they do to encompass different types of humor - like, I’m really liking the new “Let’s Talk About That” segments with Stevie, their executive producer - expand those to an hour so they won’t get the crazy blowback they did last year when trying to bring growth and change, and that way, people will get the more personal, unscripted Rhett and Link from LTAT (FOSHO!) and “Ear Biscuits” and, hopefully they’ll be able to expand the types of humor they choose to pursue. I LOVE GMM / GMMORE but, they have to be able to pursue what they want and try not to allow it all to become stale to them.

Anyhow, again - to the book! A worthy purchase, and though I’ve already read it and listened to it, will be asking for a copy of it for the holidays (purchased from the store, of course) - whether you’re an established fan or new to Mythical, I think this book will be enjoyed by anyone who picks it up!

Whatever project Rhett and Link do, they do 1000% and this book is no different. There is plenty of variety- from Rhett in a dress, photos and stories of their childhood antics, and a photo of naked Link there is something for everyone. This book is so much more than I had hoped. If you are already a fan, buy the book- you won't be disappointed. If you are not yet a fan, take a chance and enjoy your journey into mythicality!

Rhett and Link share stories in their tried and true fashion. Serious points are scattered loosely throughout this short but hearfealt book. As an audio book I feel like it misses some of the beauty of the finished print book, of which I only received hints. You’ll hear good old stories coupled with a few new ones, either way this book does not disappoint even an overly seasoned watcher of GMM (YouTube) and listener of Ear Biscuits (podcast). I would have loved to hear some more of Rhett and Link’s personal philosophies, what drives them, and truly how they think about the universe, but they still earned 5 stars on this one.

I have loved Rhett and Links daily show, "Good Mythical Morning" for years now, and it was fun to get a look at life before they started on YouTube. In this book they tell you about growing up in buise creek NC, their wives, their children, how to get lost, (And be mythical all the while), and even a look at their dogs, barbara and jade. Not only was this book funny, it made me cry. They have they he perfect mixture of love, happiness, saddness, and what makes this book one of a kind, mythicality. They have quizzes like: Should I get a dog? LCT ( Laughter compatibility test), and a few more. I wont spoil any more for you, but all I can say is, PLEASE BUY IT!! <3

This isn't a self-help book as such, though it will probably make you think about how you live your life - and how you can bring more happiness, excitement, fun and joy into your life. Because that is what it did for me. While reading this book, I went through smiling, laughing, thinking and almost crying. Though the book consists of Rhett and Link's personal stories, memories and thoughts, it is all very relatable. It gives you an opportunity to think about your relationships, childhood memories, what you value in life, and of your friendships.

The book is based personal stories from Rhett and Link, but even if you don't know of them or their creative endeavors, I would recommend that you give this book a chance (and if you're already a Mythical Beast, this is a must-read!). It has beautiful, funny and creative illustrations, so not only is it a great read, but also a joy to look at.

So to summarize: It is wonderfully written, beautifully illustrated and overall entertaining to read. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, because we all need some Mythicality in our lives.

I’m a proud mythical beast and when Rhett and Link announced they were writing a book I was ecstatic. They are both great writers. They have the ability to move you to laughter or tears with their words. They’ve always shared a lot with their fans but the stories in the Book of Mythicality give us even more glimpses into their early years and their friendship. I love the photos they’ve shared. I love that their wives and Ms. Locklear contributed to the book. It’s a fun and fast read. I got it today and haven’t put it down. Well done, Rhett and Link!

I'm a proud Mythical Beast, and the reason is quite simple: Rhett and Link's body of work are incredibly creative, funny, inspiring and entertaining. Naturally, this book is no different. I got the hardcover and the audible versions, and all chapters are very interesting and funny. I read every word and listened every second of it with a big smile plastered in my face. I loved all the visual stuff in the book (pictures, graphics, games etc) and also loved hearing they read the book, and sing, and all the people from their life participating. Mostly, learning about their idea about how to have a life full of mythicality and getting to know a little more about their incredible life long friendship was a wonderful experience. I'll definitely keep coming back to this one!

I got the book on Audible and I'm not debating on buying a hard cover too. I really enjoyed it! I laughed out loud several times and even teared up a time or two. Chapter 6 and 11 are my favorite and definitely plan on implementing some their mythical ideas!

I got this book in print and it was a great read. I love that its so fluid. I really appreciate they included lots of moments a long time mythical beast would remember. One example is the slap fight, I instantly remember the episode and have a laugh that it was Stevie's first day. Overall I highly recommend the book for any fan, either a long time fan that will feel nostalgic about it, or a new fan that will learn lots about their favorite YouTube internetainers.

I've been watching Good Mythical Morning since Chia Lincoln and T-Shirt Wars when they were still in North Carolina. The book was warm and funny. It shared insights into the brand of Mythicality. Rhett, Link, their wives and some of the crew read the book. They made a book that thousands (millions?) would read seem like it was written just for me. I'm glad I bought it.

I bought the audiobook version on audible and listened to it on my drive to Colorado after my divorce. This book and its authors helped me focus on what's important about life and restored my faith in humanity.

11/10. Would recommend

So well made! Great quality both of the product and the writing. Very funny. Only downside was that a couple corners of the book were smashed, but that’s the shipping company’s fault so the product still gets 5 stars!
