CUPCAKES AND KILLERS - COZY MYSTERY 7 BOOK SET

I am only halfway through this series & love it! These books really appeal to me, I understand and enjoy the age/ages of the characters. I catch myself smiling & laughing & sleuthing along with her plots! Great job Ms. Selfman! I will read everything you chose to publish!

This is a compilation of 7 easy reading, rather silly mystery books about rather silly women. They are predictable and fun with no redeeming value, other than that good always overcomes evil, and that in itself is a good thing in these days of upside down values! There are quite a few typos in the last 3 books in the Kindle version.

The Izzy Green books were pretty good. It's refreshing to have books with senior characters who are active, fun, funny and still attractive. The plots were decent. The bakery books were a little tiresome and the last one (ghost story) almost silly. There must not be editors anymore as there were numerous errors throughout which is distracting.

I like Laura Levine mysteries and this set is similar to her style. The character, Izzy, is always getting into trouble or is on a perpetual diet. The only difference is that her character is older, but she's always looking for men. The other characters are funny and it is a quick read. You can hardly wait to finish one book so you can read the next in the set!!!!

I enjoyed these books very much. A great release for me during one of my dry spells as a writer. I must say, though, that I had the ending figured out half way through when reading the last book. I still enjoyed reading it to see if I was right about the lover! I can't wait for more books by this author!
