Koontz got me addicted with this series. Odd Thomas is the best developed character in any book series I've read. Crime, drama, with a great mix of humor to keep it light. Well done...keep rhthem coming!

Odd's journey has lead him on another adventure! Boar-like soldiers hunt him as he tries to unravel the reason he has seen a beautiful woman on a Fresian horse. Lots of twists & turns & suspense kept this readers attention!

Odd Thomas truly is one of the most likable characters I can remember and Dean Koontz always delivers a top-notch story with perfect pacing and this one does not disappoint! Great read...especially when you just need to unwind and get lost in a book!

as a fan of the series these "interludes" are lacking and IMHO further evidence that the series has in fact jumped the shark.
Dodgy characters, ultimately unfulfilling characterisation and a plot that unfortunately is getting more stupid.

I almost feel guilty rating this because I love the Odd Thomas series. The Odd Interlude was fun and thrilling. Fun because you get a little reminder to expect the next Odd novel. Thrilling because they all are. Also exciting because Dean Koontz seems to be connecting another of my favorite Koontz stories to this one. I can't wait to see how that develops.
