Great read. The author did a great job of telling a story of two "universes". I think everyone has wondered "what if" in their life and worry about always making the correct choice. Reid does a great job of showing that although making a single decision can alter your life greatly, it doesn't mean that it is ever a wrong choice.

I wasn't expecting deep literature but the characters were one dimensional and the plot was cliche. I kept hoping something interesting was going to happen, it never did. Save your time and money, order some other chic lit or watch something on lifetime.

I liked the concept of this book, but the execution was flawed. The dual story lines okay, but the writing itself didn't make me feel anything most of the time. I didn't care about any of the characters, and if it weren't one of my book group novels, I wouldn't have finished it.

Despite being in first person narrative, I felt the lead character didn't have a distinctive voice and we weren't deep enough in pov to feel what she was feeling. A definite case of too much telling not showing.

There was one line that i loved, that looked at the concept of multiple universes, that I thought -- this is what I want to use as my wedding vows. I just can't bring myself to quote a book I didn't like.

Thought-provoking novel on the subject of soul mates and leading parallel lives. However, the story lines are quite generic and very predictable; leaving little to no suspense or any intriguing character formation. Quick read.

The depth of honest thoughts, beliefs, and inner dialogue the main character experiences is amazing. This is a great depiction of being a millennial trying to find your way. We learn that there are more ways than one that lead to life's happiness.

I think everyone would welcome the opportunity to see where both paths lead when at a crossroads in their life.
I found the book intriguing and read straight through to discover which path worked out.
Great light read!

Very "Sliding Doors." In fact, exactly "Sliding Doors." I wouldn't have minded reading every chapter twice if it were better written, I think. Despite the novel storytelling, this isn't hard to read if you're taking a break from literature for a while.

I was surprised by how touched and emotional I felt over the ending of this book but it was absolutely beautiful and I knew I had found a new favorite book. I just read One True Loves last month and loved it and I consider it a new favorite of mine, so I was shocked to discover that I love this book even more than that one. Taylor Jenkins Reid is a phenomenal writer and I love the way she writes about love and fate and the way every single decision we make changes our lives. Her writing is so inspiring and thought provoking and the situations she puts her characters in are so unique and I love it. I can't wait to read more from her in the future. Do yourself a favor and read this wonderful book.
