A page turner from beginning to end. The main character is flawed in many ways. Neve is one of those people who is terribly disorganized and continuously getting herself in fixes. She is given the deed to a small cottage by a woman she does not know, and from that moment there is non-stop action. If you are looking for a good mystery, this book is for you!

I liked this character with her rather difficult young life. It is set in the UK which I also enjoyed. The story moved right along with some intrigue and fun supporting characters. I would recommend this book.

Drawn out. Too much time spent on poor character development with confusing male/female names and a turning point that begins way too late. You feel cheated spending all that time building up to a rather boring finish

I felt the relationships should have been developed more. Ex: Richard started out as interesting with his strange mannerisms, but that just fizzled out after he cried showing no real mystery about him. But mostly would have liked a stronger ending. I won't go into detail in case you read it. It was ok.

I am a huge fan of psychological thriller books, movies, TV shows...I purchased this book based on the description and reviews it had received. I wasn't disappointed. Well written storyline that stayed on track and created moments were I felt emotionally connected with main character. Good job!

Relatively simple story but it kept my interest through to the end. One area of implausibility, but since this read did not take a heavy investment of time, it wasn’t as annoying as it could have been.

The writing is excellent and the story idea is fine but it just plodded along for ages before anything happened and even then nothing really "happened" it was just more of an "oh right" .
Wasn't creepy, spooky or gripping at all but just distracting enough to keep me reading until the end.
