I've been reading books from the store for years and this is the first time I've bothered to write a review but I liked the book so much I thought I should. Thoughtful and well written. Provides a really interesting glimpse into another culture's beliefs and experiences. There is also enough material in this book for two books so I really felt I got my money's worth.

This book is a wonderful compendium of well researched
stories on the specifics of alien sightings in MesoAmerica.
Dr.Clarke set out on a fantastic 7 year adventure collecting
stories in places like Belize,Mexico,Honduras, Guatemala
and others on the dynamics of skygods, giants and
midget people.

One story comes from Wak Chan who witnessed blue
giants from another planet. Another story involves Chak Took,
a Mayan elder, who encountered a reptilian being when he
was only 12 years of age. Here are some details.
"The creature was frightening. His face resembled a lizard.
His skin was green maybe brown. He blended into the
jungle very well..."

A memorable conversation with the "Sky Men" was very
revealing. "...they talked about the future of the earth, and
how the population growth and greed would bring about its
destruction...They said diseases, no food and wars would
destroy the earth as we know it..."

Much of this book documents fantastic observations of
the peoples of MesoAmerica and indigenous peoples.
The book is a marvelous journey into the history of
UFO events and other unexplained experiences which
conform to UFO sightings in the United States and elsewhere.

This book would be a good acquisition for historians and
journalists interested in acquiring more details on unexplained
phenomena.

A heavenly read with content from actual encounters with persons who had known or who had personal relationships with the Sky People. The book left me wanting more of the stories. I also wanted to meet the author, for I felt a connection to her.

Ardy Clarke shares her lifelong focus on Native American tribes and the many interviews she has shared with people who have knowledge of alien visits, and an understanding of why they might be interested in exploring Earth and the humans who live here. READ THIS BOOK to find out why Ardy calls them "Star Travelers" and how we may even come to know that perhaps we are meeting them in our daily life experiences as well. It is interesting to note that many people who have had interactions with aliens say that missing time is a phenomenon that is often reported in connection with these episodes- a gap in conscious memory and no recall of what occurred during that time period. Learning more about these ancient space travelers who may have even populated this planet, is part of learning about the universe and the possibilities for understanding our human and divine nature. We also can discover that it is necessary to combine science and spirituality to discern proof that evolution is endless and the mark of ancient foreign civilizations may be on our modern day Earth. Stories that are dynamic, plausible, and quite interesting!

If you are interested in the UFO Phenomenon then this is the books for you. Sky People is a collection of interviews with the indigenous people of Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico about encounters with UFOs. After being influenced at an early age by explorers John L. Stephens and Frederick Catherwood who documented the existence of ancient cities in the jungles of Mesoamerica. My favorite part about this book is that it has dozens of stories that I have never heard of before. Some of the people who told these stories are now dead. Old farmers living in very remote areas would have no reason to make some of these things up.

Many of the stories tell about those who willingly and happily travel with the star people in order to learn, and sometimes to teach, to those who feel used or abused. It seems that fear of the visitors is a common reaction. There are a surprising number of UFO abduction stories, with missing memories and missing time, and while almost all are returned unharmed, there is one boy who went missing, and some where a woman became pregnant, but only for a few months. All in all I think it is a great book for anyone interested in UFOs.

This author, Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke, has explained to me a 66 year(I'm 71) fascination and empathy with indigenous peoples of MESOAMERICA and North America.(Because my heart said so, I was always the child who chose to be the "Indian" as we played "cowboys and Indians".) Both of her books in this vein can be seen as excellent representations of the history of indigenous peoples of the Americas. Their spiritual development and understanding of our universe, it seems to me, is so clearly described by Dr.Sixkiller Clarke that I am envious. Having read both books twice, I can't wait for her next offering.

Author Ardy Sixkiller Clarke did it again! The most compelling thing about her books is the fact that she personally met and spent time with the people she writes about and most of the times stands on the same locations the incidents and events took place.

This fascinating book was easy to read and understand and made me want to visit these amazing places. The author makes the people she interviews, and her own experiences, so real. One of the best books I have ever read on UFOs.

Some good, short stories. A lot of stuff about her journey and unnecessary details about the people and the areas she goes to. She also mentions a lot the people she is following in the footsteps of and what they did which to me was completely irrelevant. The stories do seem genuine though when she gets around to telling them.
