Private goes to The Olympics in this book. The focus is on a new operative, who ends up professionally and personally entwined with the London Olympics. Many twists and turns in the plot, and lots of Private-oriented technology. A fun read

I have enjoyed all the Private series, with the exception of India. I don't know how I missed this one when it first came out, but I think it was one of the best Private books. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a book that has a little suspense and a touch of family.

I throughly enjoy James Paterson novels. It is an easy read, always suspenseful..This book was no exception. The authors keep you turning the pages with all the intrigue involved. I especially liked how they were able to weave in the 2012 Olympics. Even though the characters were fictional, it felt very real, appropriate and somewhat eerie. If you haven't read a James Patterson novel, here is a good place to start. Be sure to read "Private" first!

I really enjoy Patterson's books and was looking forward to reading this after finishing "Private" but I have to agree with some of the other reviews - the writing style seemed foreign. I was able to get past that though and focus on the characters and the plot line which finally captured my attention about halfway through the book. All in all it's aa good read with a very satisfactory ending

A turn pager. A thriller. A good mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I always try to figure out "who done it" and I am always wrong! Smile. Mr. Patterson knows how to weave a delicate thread between intrigue and curiosity.

A different plot around each corner and everything ties together finally. The reveal of the "murderer" is a surprise. The storytelling from by two different characters in the 1st person makes following their motives without. Although we quickly learn the identity of the furies, Cronus remains a mystery until the end.

I just got a friend interested in the Private series. He also hates it when the book ends and the next one isn't available yet. Excitment and no guessing what's going to happen next. We could use another Women's Murder Club book thrown in once in a while, though.

Patterson brings expertise to solving the puzzle of who wants to irreparably harm spectators, damage international reputations, while wreaking havoc during the Olympics. The story's Interesting twists and turns point to one culprit and then another before the villain is revealed. Great Read!

Love James Patterson's books. Have several in my personal library. This one I started and shortly thereafter threw in the trash. Maybe it wasn't Mr. Patterson but Mr. Sullivan's writing I didn't care for.

A typical Paterson "too much detail", too many characters too remember if you're reading the b ook over
time, thus becoming confusing. Overall a good and timely plot re the London Olympic games vs terrorist
activities.

I was a little disappointed with this book. I read all James Patterson books and have never read one that I was disappointed with, until this one. It just wasn't written the same as his other books and the story wasn't that interesting.

First of all, after reading the reviews of his last several books, I find it apalling and surprising that the prices keep going up. I guess I was right in a previous reveiw, Mr Patterson never reads his reviews, never tries to improve, cries all the way to the bank. Someday, I hope soon, his inferior work will catch up with him and people will stop paying outrageous prices for childish drivel. I have a friend who buys everything he writes and will continue to do so no matter what. The world has a lot of suckers. I am sorry that Mr. Patterson seems to have lost his integrity along with his talent.

I have always enjoyed the Private series but this one failed to hit the mark. Reading it post Olympics made it hard to treat it as credible. Too many lucky breaks for the good guys as well. Overall the book tried to take on too much and failed to deliver. More of a yarn than credible story.

James Patterson never lets you down. I really enjoy the fact that this book is about the Olympics, something that is taking place this year. The story keeps you wanting more and feels so real. I really enjoy the Private series and like that he puts us in other countries. Always looking forward to the next book to see where Mr. Patterson takes us next.

Omigawd: They have substituted a Freshman High School writing class for James Patterson. A total waste of time, albeit it was quick read. I don't recall the cost but it wasn't much. It is worthwhile to read something that bad once in a while. Fear not, I remain a very satisfied the store customer.

Took me forever to get "into" it and weeks to read it, just not interesting.
My neighbor is an avid fan also and she put it down right away....
