Our book club loves books by Emilie Richards...We have read several and have enjoyed within the group. Her style of writing, characters and subjects are good...Rising Tide kept you glued to each page....Really excellent read (as always)!!

Great summer read for the lazy hazy days of summer or kicking back after cutting the grass in a chair with ice cold tea. Or waiting at the dr. office while your teenage son has an appointment. Good for any situation.

loved the entire series. Large cast of character's that were brought together to form a strong family. Full of enough drama and problems that held my attention. One of my favorite series by this author. This was my 3rd reading and I still love it.

GOOD ROMANCE STORY, I ENJOYED IT BUT QUESTIONED THE EDITING. THERE WERE SO MANY MISTAKES,
WORDS RUN TOGETHER ETC. FIRST NORA ROBERTS BOOK THAT I HAVE READ THAT HAD MISTAKES IN IT. MANY MISTAKES IN IT.

I loved this series. The characters and location are great. The stories catch your imagination and heart. I read them in paper and then purchased them all for my kindle so I can re-read them whenever I want!

I LOVED THIS BOOK. The characters are wonderful and there is the SUSPENSE of what Seth's mother will do next. I loved the romance between Ethan and Grace and Ethan and Seth's relationship. I loved that Ethan was Seth's idea of a hero. He was mine too.

My favorite among Nora Roberts' very uneven Chesapeake Bay "trilogy." (I liked book 1, Sea Swept, but not as well as this; I did not like book 3, Inner Harbor, much at all, and I really hated book 4, Chesapeake Blue.) This book focuses on Ethan, the second adopted Quinn brother and the one with the most tortured past. He has been in love with Grace Monroe since they were children, but because of his tortured past, he feels tainted and believes she deserves better. (The pining-for-years-in-secret trope is one of my favorites: it's so emotionally satisfying when all that frustrated yearning explodes into passion.)
