A Shade of Vampire 34: A Sword of Chance

Bella continues to weave story lines that are different than others writers! I don't know how she does it! Fortunately we don't have to wait too long for the one! Anxious to see whose romance goes further- Hazels or Ruby's! How will their parents know where to look for them? Will it be tied to the island disappearances??? Glad we don't have to wait too long for the next book!! You never fail to keep me hooked Bella!!!

interesting i enjoyed this book especially with the trials and that ash won have to wonder who killed the emporer i guessing the mean brother hazel and ruby could it be they are finding love ???? well when will we see rose and claudia discover they're daughters are missing not to mention the boys are missing also..i do like hazel and ruby stories alot...totally recommend

Even though this was released months ago the prejudice between the sentries and humans could easily reflect on what's happening in the USA. I know it wasn't intentional but it was refreshing and it's a story filled with hope and new heroes. I'm routing for Ash and Tejus if that's possible. I'm hoping to see one sentry on the Shade soon.

I think Bella has really revamped the stories with 33 & 34 we are still learning of a new race in the supernatural realm the sentries and there is mystery as well as her usual twists and turns. I really love both Hazel's character and Tejus. The idea of the trials is something new and fresh I can't wait for the next story!

When I started 33, I was a little disappointed, but then all of a sudden the whirlwind came in the adventure got so good. With 34 it's got even better, the series is just amazing, I think the writing gets better and better, and some of the scenes or so intense you just can't put the book down.

Does Bella Forrest ever sleep? This is her 34th book and it is as captivating as the first. I love that she gives us fresh and new characters. The introduction of Sentries adds another puzzle piece into the whole series. What will happen to Hazel and her brother and friends. I can't wait to keep reading!

I really like the alternate universe and dynamic between the two men. I wish more had been said of the Greece situation because it seemed just thrown in at the end. But I can't wait for the next book to come out in a day or two!!

Once again, caught up on the lives of Shadians.... a lot of action and mystery. Minotaur? Old Spice cologne? This is definitely a mystery! Hopefully, book 35 will shed some light on it in a week or so!

Already read this book and counting down the days till the next one!! I really hope Hazel and Tejus wind up together! It sounds like they will have a romance like Sofia and Derek!!! I must say that this is a fantastic book series and I am hooked! Bella has a great way of keeping me interested!

I the Shade of Vampire series!!! Each book in the series keeps you intrigued and on the edge till the end. Waiting for the next book in the series is hardest but thankfully Bella doesn't make you wait too long between the books. Cannot wait for the next one in Nov!

I don't particularly care for the Sentry characters. The storyline just doesn't seem to be as engaging as the others. I found myself drudging through the last 2 books. Not like the previous books where I couldn't seem to put them down. Often finishing them in 1-2days. There doesn't seem to be as much action and danger.

I would recommend this book along with all the others in this series to anyone who likes vampire books or even ones who like suspence and romance. They are all great and i cant wait for the next one to come out.
