The Power Trip

I fell in love with Jackie Collins writing years ago when reading Lucky. Since then, her novels have been somewhat disappointing. The Power Trip was a fast read but somewhat predictable. None of her publications since Lucky have been as riviting and "can't put it down" thrilling to read.

It was great.! Have read every book that Jackie Collins has written.
They are just ones you can't put down until the very last and sure don't want it to stop then. Have waited a long time for a new book out for her. Hope a new one won't be a long time coming.

Jackie never disappoints me. I have read several of her books, and she always leaves me on the edge of my seat.

This book helps the reader envision the gorgeous yacht, and the beautiful Sea of Cortez...Loved every minute of it! The characters were outstanding too!

Clearly written in the Jackie Collins formula but still a good fun read and plenty of room left for the obvious follow up books in this series. I love JC books they are always a good fast read but I would love to see her stretch a bit outside of her comfort level and try something different.

I was excited to read this after hearing the author interviewed talking about the plot. It was just okay unfortunately. That said she did a good job tugging at your emotions over the characters and what you thought you wanted for an outcome. Buy it used for a quick, not difficult read, when you need a break from any heavy reading.
