This book was really helpful for my first semester of calculus. It definitely helped me study and figure out the homework problems. However, it only gets three stars because it only goes to chapter 11, so now that I am at the end of the book, I have no help. I guess I have to drop another $65 to get the next version? Very frustrating but I don't think there is any other option.

..strike yourself in the forehead right between the eyes several times, and save yourself the effort on having to read this book, you'll get the same effect. The authors make the complex even more so. Typical "Math teacher tries to write a book" scenario. Pain in the butt.

Although the book does contain all the odd numbered problems and detailed explanations for each problem, it does not contain even numbered problems, usually this is not a problem since the homework problem sets contain a odd and even numbered problem that contain the same concept, but sometimes it doesn't, usually in the higher numbers of the HW problems.

Maybe this is the wrong solutions for my book (Calculus: Early Transcendentals 8th Edition
by James Stewart (Author)). I'm not sure. IT DIN"T HAVE SOLUTIONS for CHAPTER 12-17. I had to pay $ 11 for returning.
LOSS of TIME & MONEY.

This solution was alright, it explained all the even problems well. But most of you will have a teacher that only assigns evens because the odd answers are in the back of the book anyways. Do yourself a favor and make an account on chegg. They are cheaper and allow odd and even answer. You can even get solutions for other textbooks. There is a flat rate of $15 a month or $6 a month if you buy for the year. chegg also allows you to view 3 problems a day for free so you can make sure they have your textbook before you buy.

2 stars because it helped with a few problems and because I am very generous.

That said, the majority of the solutions skips so many steps that it is almost impossible to tell what the person was doing. In the time I've spent trying to figure out what was going on in the "solution", I could have done the problem myself and have a few minutes to spare. That is, to say, I spend huge, HUGE amounts of time just trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

You need to be expert in Calculus to read this solutions manual easily, which defeats the purpose of buying this. Ridiculous!

This solution manual was very helpful in understanding problems. However, there are multiple issues with this book. The chapters do not align with the actual textbook. The equations they use in the solution manual do not always align with the equations with the textbook, which just confuses you more. In addition, the solution manual does not have all the problems that it is suppose to. It will skip a few odd questions or it will skip a section from the textbook. SO FRUSTRATING! FIX IT...
