I absolutely loved this book and this series. I wasn't too sure in the beginning but quickly fell in love with Jim Heron, Sissy, Eddie, Adrian and even Devina. So loved the ending, I laughed and I cried. So sad to see this series end. Would highly recommend.

I loved this book. I loved this series. I loved all the characters, even Devina. The plots were unpredictable and brilliant. I am NOT a religious person in any way, to the point I think religion is the root of all the evil deeds done by mankind. So, for me to be so engrossed, touched, and excited about this series is a miracle in itself. I almost feel inspired to dispose of my "I Hate People" mug. I still think organized religion is scary wrong on so many levels, however, I was not put off in any way by the Creator talk and all that went with it because the characters and plots were written so brilliantly and real that I'm thankful that I didn't prejudge the premise of the series as something I wouldn't like. This final book was ingenious but I still haven't decided if I liked the very end. Maybe because it was "the end". I wanted some Lassiter. He was mentioned but I didn't get even a glimpse, so I'm pouting about that. Don't shy away from this series because it has Creator and Demon/Hell/saving souls talk. It's so not about religion. It's about being a good, not perfect, human being. It's about choices we make and the fact that nobody gets through life without a few skeletons hanging around in their closet, but that doesn't mean we're bad. Just humans with some flaws. It's the decisions we ultimately make on important issues that define us, not the mistakes we've made during our journey. Also not being a self righteous prude doesn't mean you're a bad person that isn't worthy of happiness and peace. It just means you're human.

I was a little disappointed with how this ended, especially since it was the last book in the series. It seemed like she just said ---ok....now END. I loved this series though and would recommend reading it - it's a good story from the first book to this last one, I just wish it was tied up a little bit differently in the last chapter or so.

I did like the entire series, each book made sense as it continued forward each building off of the last one. It wasn't totally predictable, but interesting enough that I finished the last two books in 3 days. An unexpected tear jerker, itd definatley worth the read, but should be read in order.

I've enjoyed every book that JR Ward has written, either writing as JR Ward or as Jessica Bird. She has a great eye for a plot twist and detail that keeps the reader engrossed in the story line that makes you WANT to buy the next book in the series because you HAVE to know what happens next. I've really loved the Fallen Angels story line, the fight between good and evil, with the Angels themselves being so human themselves - not perfect, 50% good, 50% evil, but with love, hate, goodwill, regrets and pulled in all directions about how they can pull off their missions and save the human race from the evil demon, Devina....who is one crazy broad. Devina, now she is an interesting character - a more interesting villain I've never met before. OCD, convinced that the hero is the love of her life and in love with her, seeing a therapist for her OCD and other mental issues, yep, never met a villain like Devina before. Some folks that are used to a story line that is linear might have a hard time getting used to following how JR Ward puts together her story line how it follows one person one chapter, jumps to another, then another...but eventually they all collide toward the end of the book. Hang in there thru all the books - - - the one big, major endorsement I will give this book, it has the best ending I have every read of any book ever. I was in tears as I read it.

A bit disappointed that not same size of paperback as the rest of the set (those I already have and the 2 others to series received with this book). Probably my mistake for not checking to see if it said anything about size, since I just wanted to get the rest of the series.

The climax to this series is brilliant! A must read for everyone as long as you can tolerate the "f" bomb. Ms. Ward is my favorite author. Intelligently written books for intelligent people who really want to be entertained!

Great stories, the whole series. The end of this book was a wonderful culmination of all. Love really does triumph over evil. A lot is to be said for the soul and its innate goodness. The twists and turns were wonderful. I even felt for Davina ! Who would have thought that... Are we going to read about Lassiter ? Thank you for your books ! Cynthia. P.S. I picture heaven in my minds eye as in your book, I got all misty eyed ! Thanks.

That line made me laugh right out loud. Just about perfect. As much as I enjoy the Brothers - and I do love those guys - this series has a deeper tone. Absolutely loved the devil as an OCD, sociopathic fashionista in therapy! Probably need to go back and revisit the series from the beginning.

I love anything and everything by J.R. Ward. She is a great story teller. My only complaint in the story is that the out come was a little predictable. But of course, who doesn't love a happy ending?

J.R. Ward is an amazing writer, content builder when it comes to Fantasy, Supernatural genres. Her Series Black Dagger Brotherhood and Fallen Angels series are my absolute favorites right now and for years. I would recommend either of these series to readers of fantasy, supernatural and vampire lore.

The perfect ending to the series. It made laugh, scream in frustration, gasp in shock and cry in happiness. I love JRWard. Her characters are so realalistic even though they're fantasies. Her paranormal is believable you almost think that this is a story about real events and people. Cannot wait for "The Shadows"
