Imagine... libraries as transit points to other worlds and countries. A secret Library language. Tattoos that are like microchips just for Librarians. Never aging while working inside the Library. And dragons! Enchanting!

Very well written book with intriquing characters. World building was promising for next books in the series. I truly hope that author can keep up the pace that story was progressing in this one. No dull moments.

I love books... I love libraries...and I love fantasy.
This book has all of those things and more.
Action, adventure, puzzles and a great heroine in Irene.
I read the first 2 booms in this series and can't wait for the third
Closet Full Of Bones :: The Bone People: A Novel (Penguin Ink) :: Letters to a Young Scientist :: How to Draw Fantastic Dragons and Fantasy Creatures :: A Long Time Dead (SOCO Roger Conniston Book 1)

Well written and quick paced, what makes this book unique -or at least special- is that you feel that you are dealing with a kindred spirit. That is, if you love books, which you probably do, if you purchased it.

Libraries, books, adventure, and intrigue in a Steampunk flavored setting - definitely my type of universe. The strong female protagonist and the supporting characters are complex, interesting people you could get behind and root for. Glad I picked up this book, and looking forward to devouring the next in the series.
