Wee Sing Bible Songs (Wee Sing) CD and Book Edition

I love these songs! My favorites are the Old Testament and New Testament songs, which make it so much easier to learn where to find the books of the Bible once these songs are learned!

I had learned these songs as a child in Sunday School, and my children learned them in Sunday school and with the help of this tape, and now I am going to use this CD version to teach them to my grandchildren and the children at my church.

And now it is so fun passing it along to my friends with children. I still use these songs I learned as a child to remember the books of the Bible, the names of the disciples, and some other simple songs.

I love the simplicity of the songs! We use this CD in our Toddler Class (18 - 24 months).
Each of kids get a musical instrument to "play" along with the song! We usually play
2 -3 songs. The kids enjoy music time so much!

Great Bible songs...old school stuff thats much needed in this anything goes world. Gods word will remain forever and our children need encouraging, uplifting, decent songs...not the garbage.that.they are fed today via tv and radio.

Great book for kids to learn Bible songs! We just had our VBS at our church and this book was great! I would recomend this to anyone! It did take 4-5 days to grt to me bc it came from WA and you dont know that until you place order! (I'm in AL)

I remember listening to these songs as a kid in Sunday school myself, so when my niece was born, I knew I just had to find them for her. They are up beat, fun to listen to (not just for kids, but the adults too!) and teach children about the Bible and God. Highly recommend for anyone with kids!

I had a Wee Sing Bible back in the 80's on a casette. My kids loved it. Now that I am working with kids I have been looking for it again. It has all the old favorites. I especially bought it for the Books of the Bible songs.

I've been teaching music for many years and I have piles of music books and CD's.

I often come back to my Wee Sing books because of the simplicity and because

they very often contain the songs that I am looking for. If you were to buy

one book to teach to young children about God this would be it. I recommend all

of the Wee Sing books to those who want to teach.

I bought several of this Wee Sing collection (Book & CD package).

First of all, the packaging is great. The product picture here doesn't do it justice. I thought I'm going to receive some cheap-looking book with a CD included, but instead, the book is actually really really nice, the CD comes inside a very nice colorful CD case with flap closure, and all these come inside a reclosable plastic packaging. The illustration and colors are so vibrant and fun - I'm going to proudly display my Wee Sing collection at the very front of my children's books & CDs bookcase.

The inside of the book is sephia color, not black and white. It looks really nice. It has the lyrics to all the songs and even some pictures of fingerplay that usually accompanies the song. My favourite part is the notes, so I can play the songs on my piano while my toddler sings along. This is a very nicely done book!

This particular package - Wee Sing Bible Songs - has a total of 63 songs. The songs are about 30 seconds long to just under 3 minutes. Very simple songs for children to sing-along with. All traditional Sunday School songs, I remember singing them when I was little! It is such a joy to hear these songs again, and teaching them to my children! All the songs are sung by children, not some adults trying to sound fun singing children songs. Some of the songs are not really a song, just a poem with fingerplay that's usually tought in Sunday School.

This is an awesome collection and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some good old traditional Sunday School songs.

This CD/book is great! I purchased it for use with the 2-4 year olds I teach at church for Sunday school. The songs are short and catchy and the little ones really love the action songs. I would encourage anyone considering this product to buy it! It's fabulous!

I love it! I had the cassette version of the Wee Sing Bible Songs when my kids were little and now I have a CD for the grandkids!
There are tons of songs on this recording. We even memorized the books of the Old and New Testaments with it, just by singing along.
And I love the fact that the book has all of the lyrics to all of the songs, along with simple sheet music for each.

This is a wonderful collection of favorite Bible songs. The second section of the book, the praise section, is especially good. I enjoy singing along with many of these songs as much as my children do.

This is a great CD for children, and the adults can't help singing along too! Our children listened to this when they were young, and now we're buying it for our friend's children, and our grandchildren. One of the nice features of this CD is that it is mostly sung by children which encourages even the most shy children to sing along. We love to sing along in the car, at home, and even around the campfire. Another nice feature is the song book that is included. It has the lyrics and music so you can play along on the piano, or on the guitar, or any instrument. The song book helps children to learn the words which they may be struggling with in Sunday School. We love the entire Wee Sing series, but our other favorite is We Sing Fun 'n' Folk. It is the best music for camp-outs and sing a longs. Music is an entirely different language for children. It can be soothing, and very healing for children who are struggling. Kids like the comfort and predictability that comes from listening to their familiar songs.

These were gifts for my grandchildren and even though the youngest is only 8 months old, she has already started listening to it. The older two already knew some of the songs and are beginning to learn even more. Was a great gift for them.

Its a cute CD with all those familiar sunday school songs you learned as a kid. if you are a VERY conservative christian you may this to be a bit too "pop" for your taste and may prefer the Patch The Pirate Sunday School Songs. Overall i think this is a good product

I bought this for a baptism gift for my great nephew. My children and nieces grew up listening to these songs. When my niece played the cd, she found herself singing along to the songs. It's delightful!

I love this CD! I had it on cassette tape, but bought the CD recently for easier use. I was also worried I would eventually wear out the tape after using it for so many years. When my son was growing up, we listened to it in the car for at least 2-3 years. (He's now 22 yrs old.) I think it planted many "seeds" to cultivate and help him learn Bible stories for us to discuss. I also learned the books of the Bible from listening to it. I use some of the songs for my pre-school choir at church. There are songs, however, that are a little too advanced for my kids that would be good for elementary age. Hope you enjoy it!

I had this cassette as a kid and can still remember all the songs. I decided to buy it for a little boy I nanny for so he can learn positive God-centered songs at a young age. I still sing the book of the Bible in order.

If you want your kids to learn Bible principles, sing and have fun this sing Bible songs is great for the little ones. My 5 and 2 year old kids love it and my 11 year old loves to sing with them and help them learn the lyrics. Much better then having your kids listen to now a days music that has negative messages projected to them.

I grew up with the cassette of this edition and so I was very excited that they offer it with CD now. I bought one for my children and then another for my god-daughter at her Baptism/Dedication. My sister (her mother) was ecstatic and is already playing it for her as much as possible!

There are so many fun songs on this CD (63 songs) that you will never get tired of hearing the same ones. My daughter likes the fact that children are singing the songs. A great price for so many songs!

This is a great aid for teaching bible stories in a fun and interactive way. The kids I teach especially like the movement songs. I like the songs teaching the books of the bible because they are easy to remember. They are the reason I bought this product.

I bought this cd to replace the casset tape I was using from when my kids were little. I am now using it in my sunday school class to learn the books of the Bible and some of the other fun songs that are on there. Little kids really like them.

I highly recommend any of the Wee Sing products. I used the Bible Songs CD to teach my fourth grader the names of the books of the Bible. I use the same CD as arrival and activity music for my Toddler's class at church.

My kids have loved Wee Sings Bible growing up. My oldest child is 21 and my youngest is 7 and they all Love it. The music is cute with children singing on the DVDs and the it comes with a book that you can use if you want to accompany them! Great product with all the popular Bible songs for kids!

Wee Sing Bible Songs became a favorite in our home, car, and Children's Church program. The songs are easy to sing and many have motions described in the song book that the kids love. I ordered multiple copies for our programs after purchasing one for my own children.

I had this tape growing up and had to buy it for my daughter becuase I loved it so much as a kid. It really is fun to listen to and helps kids learn more about God and the Bible through song. This is how I memorized the books of the Bible when I was little.

We are using this CD with our Awana class at church. The other teachers and I were looking for a song that would teach the old and new testament books. Wee Sing has a song for each and the children love them.

What a great way to teach your children Bible songs. They will love each one and be singing right along with them in no time! I bought this for my granddaughter and it is a must have when we are in the car.
There are over 60 songs with some great classic songs as well. It also comes with a CD so you can learn all the words of the songs.

I played the Bible Time Nursery Rhyme cassette when our children were little and LOVED it! The children sang along and enjoyed the music for years and years. When I saw that the music was now available on CD, I was so happy. Our daughter and son-in-law are heading overseas with our two-year-old grandson, and we thought he would LOVE this music as much as all of us did. I ordered the CD along with other music and held it until our daughter came in for a visit. Unfortunately, the CD was badly scratched and skipped in several places. We tried cleaning it but to no avail. When I checked on returning the CD for a good one, I was informed that the company only allowed returns for 30 days, and the due date had passed. If a company is going to have such a restrictive policy, they should have at least let us know. I would have unwrapped the CD and tried it out before the time had expired. Even though I LOVE Wee Sing music, I will not waste any more money on them!

I had this CD as a child in a Cassette tape form and was happy to find it online! It arrived within 3 days of purchase, unharmed and in perfect condition. I absolutly love it and cant wait to use it at our community youth event this weekend. I HIGHLY recommend this for everyone (and specifically music/youth leaders)

This is a Protestant collection mainly...the list of books excludes the Catholic Books of the Bible. There are no Catholic based songs. It's all very basic, which is good. Overall, I did like it though. Had a lot of famous childhood Christian songs.

I purchased this for my grandkids about 20 years ago. Each one could sing every song on it. When I hear it I have fond memories of us all driving along and singing together. I am now ordering it for my great grandkids so we can have the same fun and they can have the fun with their moms.

This CD contains over 60 songs....but unfortunately, they're not all complete songs. Many of them are under 30 seconds (a single sentence or few brief sentences of a song), and many more are under a minute. The 'songs' are also very fast-paced (which makes it harder to understand the words) - and again, I'd like to reiterate, not full songs. Just as my kids start to sing along, the song is over. I would love to find a CD like this with all of the complete songs on it.

My children (now 32-39) grew up on the we sing books, videos and cassettes. I am now buying these books for my grandaughter! We LOVED the books, songs and stories. I just spoke with my son about them and he began singing one of the songs. I could just see him smiling over the phone. The Bible songs book was great for me because I grew up in a church that didn't teach these and my children were learning songs in Sunday school that I had never heard. This set really helped me to help them learn. Buy the whole series! Hours of fun and memories!

When I started researching things that I wanted to implement into curriculum and start purchasing since I'd use them for years, one thing that kept coming up was Wee Sing. First it was mentioned, I think, in The Well-Trained Mind by Susan Wise Bauer and Jessie Wise. Then again I saw it often in the references and catalogs from Veritas Press. Then again in the Memoria Press forums and again and again. Then when I started into the Animal Play Curriculum it was Wee Sing Animals Animals Animals. I knew I would have to get my hands on these.

I am over the top delighted! Wee Sing is awesome. I have a bunch of reviews coming for you. I figured that I could have wrapped it all up in one, but these deserve their own posts. I might repeat myself a little bit, but I want you to know how much I love these.

This CD is packed from songs from my childhood, Sunday School, VBS and more. Then on top of that there are several poems and other songs that I did not know before but I am delighted to learn now and to teach them to my daughters. The booklet that comes with the CD is great. It has the music and sometimes sign language to go with songs and the words to the poems as well. We sometimes listen to this for specific songs and sometimes just to start the day (most days!). I absolutely love this and I know that Wee Sing is going to be a great aide in giving my children a great foundation. As a person who is practically humming or singing all the time, this fits my personality perfectly. Then now to have my 30 month old daughter singing at the top of her little lungs, "Jesus, Love Children! The Bible tells me so..." is awesome. I'm excited to know that she can keep learning and already at her young age is putting such great words to memory. Absolutely fantastic!

I bought this CD at a Christian store today ~ without knowing anything about what it would sound like. I read the reviews here when I got home. Thankfully, (and shockingly,) the packaging can be opened and resealed with no damage to it at all. I took the CD out and listened to a few of the short little songs, and that was all it took for me to carefully repackage it. The sound was flat and BLAH... I knew I could not stand to listen to this with my grandkids, and couldn't imagine that the style of it would draw our precious little ones' hearts in. I'll be returning this to the store from which it came, and will continue my search for Christian kids' CDs for Grandma's house.

I used to listen and sing along to this as a kid when it first came out 30 years ago, and now our 6-month old listens to it! She seriously gets so into the songs. When she's fussy during a car ride we turn it on and she calms right down. It's so great to be able to share this with her.

This was a huge disappointment. Had the songs been longer and complete, this would have been a great gift. I bought it to listen to in the car when I have my nephews and nieces with me, the oldest one asked what was wrong with the cd. They became bored and eventually asked to listen to Psalty instead. Which is fine but like I said this has the potential to be great.

I played this every night for my daughter as she was falling asleep when she was little. Later it actually helped her in Jr. High for a test she took on naming the books of the Bible, she remembered them in order because of the song on the tape she'd learned while very young. Later as a teacher in a Christian school she taught the other teachers and children how to sing them as well. Now she'll be passing this on to her own children. This is a legacy that will stay with your children for a lifetime.

This is a wonderful collection of 63 Bible and Sunday school songs. This has all the old classics I remember from child hood, like "Zaccheaus was a wee little man," "Father Abraham," and "Deep and wide." I play this often for my children, and they love it. Full of wonderful songs, it is a good investment for my children.

I bought this for my daughter because her piano teacher uses it. She is now playing all the songs, with chords on the left hand, and really enjoys playing "real music". Songs are all well known, and fun to play and to sing.

I loved this collection on cassette tape when I was a kid and was delighted to find it on CD to use in my church nursery. The kids love singing (and dancing!) along with this collection. Wee Sing is the best.

I grew up with the Wee Sing products and, when I found out I was pregnant, I bought this CD for my own son. I find it very useful because I find it hard to remember a lot of the songs that I sang when I was growing up. This is a good reminder. Also, when my son gets a little older, I know that he'll enjoy singing along with it as well. I intend to purchase many more Wee Sing products in the future.

I purchased this with the plan to listen to it with my children at lunch time and while traveling in our car so they would learn more about old testament in a fun way. After just a few songs I knew that there was no way we would be listening to it on a regular basis as it drove me crazy. The quality of the music is not as good as other bible cd's we own. Even my young children requested a different cd. We own a variety of other childrens cd's that don't grate on my nerves like this one.
