Kerri offers a gentle but incredibly effective approach to realigning perceptions on items/things that aren't serving you anymore. I've finally been able to make decisions about highly-charged sentimental items as well as items I thought were of value but were just hanging in my closet, making me feel guilty about myself. The book is fun to read, easy to digest, very practical. As an aside, her Hay House teachings and online course offerings are amazing.

This book not only provides tips on how to successfully get rid of clutter in your environment, but it addresses the mental and emotional clutter that leaves us feeling stuck, afraid, and not good enough. Kerri’s words and insights are truly a gift and this book has changed my life in so many ways. Clearing emotional and physical clutter can be challenging, but Kerri simplifies it and she does a weekly Facebook Live where she talks about her tips, answers questions and offers support. I highly recommend this book to anyone who can’t seem to get rid of clutter and who struggles with their thoughts and emotions. It will help free you.

As someone who has tried many approaches to the clutter issue, I feel fortunate to have found this wonderful book, which shows you why you have a clutter problem and how to change it, with tools to get you there. Kerri’s gradual approach, which emphasizes work-play in balance, is a gentle unthreatening nudge in the right direction. Clutter clearing changes from a dreaded chore to a process that’s both transformational and can even be fun. Kerri addresses the deeper emotional issues as well as the down-to-earth practical steps in clearing your clutter.

Once you have read the book and understand the basics, check out her website – www.kerririchardson.com, which has some free articles and will direct you to her radio show, Facebook groups, and online course where you will get plenty of additional support.

Do yourself a favor and read this book.

What a waste of time. What rubbish. Basically, the author suggests mind games to coax lazy people into doing what they need to do. JUST DO IT! Author also seems to lack a moral compass. "Don't like your marriage? Just discard it like a pile of boring paperwork."

I was hoping to use this to help a friend whose home is a labyrinth of paths between books, papers and miscellaneous junk. No such luck.

I like Kerri's down to earth, authentic, hilarious style of addressing our clutter (we all have it) in its many forms (relationship clutter, physical clutter, etc) on hayhouseradio.com. Reading her book is equally straight-forward, almost even fun way of understanding this aspect of human life in a way that inspires growth & wisdom. Bravo, Kerri!!

Fantastic book!! Kerri breaks down the real reasons for our clutter in an easy, non-judgmental way. She adds great stories that everyone should be able to relate to and understand. It's also super motivating without being "cheesy". Her suggestions are doable and simple but also thought provoking. Thanks Kerri for helping to clear my clutter!

The author has listed all the reasons that we are stuck in our unpacking process at our new home. Either all of us humans are more similar than we want to believe, or the author is extremely intuitive. She provides great possible solutions for us to get un-stuck and clearing out the unnecessary items.

Fantastic! I've read lots of books on clutter and this is the best one ever written. It really gets to the heart of the problem. Very easy to read and holds your interest! You will not be disappointed!

This book started out strong, hinting to almost being able to help the compulsively unorganized. It could not accurately diagnose, nor would one expect it to, the disorders leading to not being able to get out from under your piles of junk. I do not know, to this day, what my clutter is saying besides, "Pick me up!" It began with a few places to start to really make changes, and I was excited about it. However, after another solid section that gave hope and had promise, the remainder of the book became a list of things to do that ALL OTHER mediocre books on organization present. The "difference" was the timed rounds of work and relaxation. Then, it was over and I am left with this piece of clutter in my Kindle. I deleted it from the clutter of my library. I guess I did learn something.
