Bones in Her Pocket

The story grabs your attention immediately and keeps the pace up throughout. It is a well plotted tale. The story line is interesting with the heroine doing plenty of grizzly lab work. The conclusion is tricky but satisfying. A good, solid short story.

I am currently listening to the second CD of this book. It has been interesting, but I can already say that it is TOO short! The detail that is offered from a forensic standpoint is excellent and descriptive

Excellent book! Very untertaining, as usual with Kathy Reichs. I also loved that there is a chapter dedicated to animal rights at the end of the story. It makes me like and respect Kathy Reichs even more!

I really enjoy the continuation of Temperance and her trials and tribulations with her work. Have a medico-science background I find the detail fantastic. I have to admit though the numbers of near miss, life threatening situations is remarkable.
Of course being a romantic at heart I want to know Her and Ryan can get it together eventually but I guess it would be difficult for an author to not make that story line 'trite'.
Looking forward to her next full novel!

The book I read was an awfully edited and condensed version of a Kathy Reichs novel. Just as it was starting to take off and get to the real mystery, the book just stopped. I usually like Ms. Reich' writing and have read most of her books.

I would like to read the whole book because that would really be a story and the whole forensic puzzle would be solved with just a few peaces of string on a bone.

I suspect my rating is influenced by the Bones tv show. This is the first written story about Bones that I have read. Her character is somewhat different in the book; not as lively.I did enjoy the story, just not as much as I anticipated.
