First time reading, L.T.Ryan...liked the story line. Didn't care for the cockiness of the main character, Jack Noble. If he could keep his mouth shut, he could avoid all the beatings he gets. Still, will read a few more of the Jack Noble stories. Thanks, AmarilloTurtle

THE RECRUIT was a great introduction to the characters in this Jack Noble series. It was interesting to get a glimpse of recruit training at Parris Island, South Carolina. Now I understand why Jack and Bear have such a great relationship!

This short story explains how Jack Noble became friends with his partner, Riley "Bear" Logan, and how they entered into the dark world they find themselves involved in throughout other Noble books. A nice (very) short read.

Jack Noble sounds like an action hero doesn't it. I received this free from the authors website.
I've been looking for a new action hero to take me on a ride away from the daily grind. After reading this short story, JACK NOBLE may just be that next big action hero.

Pretty good escape reading but someone needs to proofread Ryan's stuff. Way too many missing words or dyslexic word groupings. It's like he has a quick write formula and doesn't think he heeds to check his work.
