Everyones favorite Princess is BACK in the hillarious third installment of The Princess Diaries series.Life was really starting to look better for Mia.Her mother was managing her pregnancy, she was doin OK in school, and now Mia FINALLY has a boyfriend.Better, right? Wrong. Now her mother's morning sickness is getting more frequent, and her best friend is trying to stage a walkout during her stepfather's class, right before finals. And,her boyfriend? Yeah, get this : she doesn't even like him.And now he has professed his love.In front of a third of the school. In front of Michael Moscovitz,Mia's true-love,who she is convinced only thinks of her as his little sister's best friend. And oh yeah,it looks like Michael has a girlfriend. AND,Mia has been recieving yellow roses which lead to thoughts of humor, mystery, angst, and disappointment. After a series of humilliating events, though,Mia finds out some things that lead to a greater maturity, and maybe even self-actualization. This was DEFINETLY the funniest of the series, and had me laughing out loud during my English class. A great read, with a great ending.Maybe Princess Mia's life really IS a fairy-tale . After all,she does find herself living "happily ever after."

After seeing the Movie, the Princess Diaries, I just had to read the book and I loved it. I finished it in almost a week and eagerly devoured the second voume "Princess in the spotlight" which was equally funny and enjoyable. Princess Mia's honest sarcasm and real life problems are funny and refeshing and you'll laugh constantly at her day to day comments on life. From her mother dating her algebra teacher to being in love with her best friends brother, Mia's life is hilariously funny. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I saw an advertisement for a third volume "Princess in Love" and I finished it almost three days after getting it And the best part is, she isn't another mega rich popular girl who is often the main character of many teen novels. I can totally relate to her and I hope that Meg Cabot writes a fourth volume about Mia actually going to Genovia. But I'd definetly reccomend reading the first two volumes (if you haven't already) before reading this one, especially if you ghaven't seen the movie which is one of Disney's best movies (in my opinion) for older kids. There is however some mature content and I wouldn't reccomend it for kids under 12.

You will have to read this lovely third installment in The Princess Diaries for you to know what I mean about it being just like a fairy tale. There aren't any ogres and witches (just Grandmere, as usual!), but our dear princess, Mia, is on hand for another chapter in her not-so-ordinary life.
The only hint I'll give you about what makes this volume different from the previous two is this: one of Mia's biggest wishes finally comes true. Suckers for good endings will not be displeased!

Yet again, Mia Thermopolis is met with matters of the heart. She talks about Kenny--her like for him that doesn't blossom into a love. She continues to obsess about Michael Moscovitz and tries to keep her feelings sheltered from her best friend Lilly, who also happens to be Michael's sister. She finally can't keep her crush in any longer and tells someone about it. (I bet you can guess who it is.) With this, her mother's pregnancy, a trip to Genovia, and the Winter Denominational Dance all coming soon, no wonder Mia's feeling pressured.
This book focuses less on Mia's family problems and more on her personal problems. It drags a little, since it is centered so much on Kenny and Michael. But it still has the same quirky touches, like the hilarious lists and amusing turns. The ending is predictable, but that's what a princess story is all about, isn't it? I gave it 4 stars because the book did get a little boring, but Meg Cabot is so witty that it keeps you reading to the end.

I loved this book. It was definitely my favorite out of all of them. In this book, Mia Thermopolis has to deal with her dreadful princess lessons, and her first boyfriend Kenny. She's always wanted a boyfriend, but, there's only one problem, she doesn't like Kenny. She just happens to be in love with her best friend's brother, Michael. She decides not to break up with Kenny, for 2 rerasons: 1. If they break up, she'll have no one to go to the Nondenominational Winter Dance with, and 2. He slips her the answers in class, so without him, her grades will take a plunge. She promises herself that she'll break up with Kenny, but never gets the nerve to. Then, things get even worse when Judith Gershner-a girl in Michael's Computer Club- starts to take interest in Michael, too.
Then there's also Sebastiano,a cousin of Mia's a couple times removed. He's a Genovian designer who-if Mia wasn't born- could've been prince of Genovia. Sebastiano has the task of designing a dress for Mia to wear in Genovia. She trusts him to keep a secret, so she tells him about Kenny and Michael. He can keep a secret, but then he does something almost equally as bad as telling her secret. He sends in pictures of Mia-looking just like a model-trying on dresses to the paper. She then finds out that Grandmère gave him permission.
My favorite parts where the Carnival and the Dance. I loved how she described the joy of Michael loving her as the same joy she had when she got Fat Louie. If you haven't read this, you should definitely give it a try.

America's newest and unlikely royal, Mia Thermopolis, returns in Meg Cabot's third installment of her sucessful Princess Diaries series. In this continuing saga Mia finds herself preparing under her grandmother's continuing instruction, for her first royal visit to Genovia during her upcoming winter holiday. However, in the days prior to her departure, Mia finds herself dealing with a bunch of issues on the homefront. To start, Mia's mother and her math teacher (now her step father) are all living under the same roof. As we learned in the last book, Mia's mom and Mr. Gianni are expecting a baby. It was also revealed in the previous installment that Mia had a secret admirer, her Biology lab partner Kenny. Now, in this book, we learn Mia and Kenny are considered an item. Just one problem. Mia doesn't really like Kenny as a boyfriend. She's secretly pining away for her best friend's older brother, Michael. Mia doesn't know what to do. If you liked either of the first two Princess Diaries books, you will definetly love this one as well. Mia's dialouge with her diary and her feelings of confusion as she tries to figure out what to do with her romantic relationships are relatable to anyone who has been or is a teenager.

Princess Amelia Thermopolis Renaldo has boy problems. A LOT of boy problems.
Her best friend Lilly, who happens to be a certified genius and a dedicated liberal, is dating the uber-geeky Boris Pelkowski, notorious sweater-tucker-inner.
The object of her affections, Michael Moscovitz, seems to be totally in love with a much more intelligent girl who has the ability to clone flies.
And, then there's Kenny. Mia's adoring boyfriend. Unfortunately, the feeling isn't mutual. Will Mia find the courage to set Kenny down gently before she leaves for Genovia for Christmas?

The Princess Diaries is a great series that all teenage girls are sure to love, but overall Princess In Love is my favorite of the three. It focuses on Princess Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo's--otherwise known as Mia Thermopolis--life after she finds out that she is the sole heir to a small European country, population 50,000. Her mom is married to her algebra teacher, and she is pregnant with his baby. Most girls would love to be a princess, but not Mia. She would like to quit princess lessons from her grandmere (grandma), all her interviews, and having a bodyguard, except for the fact that she is the sole heir to the thron of Genovia. lthough Mia fially has a boyfriend, she does ot like him anymore. he would love to break up with Kenny, but it is the week of fianls, and she does not wnt him to be uset during is exams. Worst of all, Mia cannot tell her best friend, Lilly Moscovitz, whom she likes because Mia like Lilly's olde brother, Michael, and Lilly would not approve of it. For Mia, being a princess in love is not the fairy tale it is supposed to be...or is it?

The Princess Diary's Series by Meg Cabot will want you reading this intriguing series 24/7. The third book in the series, is Princess in Love. This appealing novel is for teenage girls everywhere. The story of love despair and happiness, even though the father of her mothers baby is her algebra teacher. Put yourself in Princess Mia's position as she goes through tragic times. You will get into this series and read more & more, don't forget to read the first two!
My personal evaluation on the book is that people who think there life is hard need to read this series, then they may feel some relief even from just reading! Being a princess doesn't seem very believable, but after you read this series YOU WILL BELIEVE! Put your self in her place for this adventure! I give this book five stars!
This book really got me to read more; I was never much of a reader until I discovered the Princess Diary series. I only have one more book to read and I'm hoping the author will come out with more. Don't read this for an English project, read it for fun!

I read Princess Diaries 1 before the movie, Princess diaries 2 after and then anxiously awaited the third volume that was supposed to be out in March according to MegCabot.com. I finally got the book. Read it in one sitting and now I re-read the third book seeing as how I loaned the first to a friend in the next town and the second to a little girl in England.
Buy the books and enjoy Mia's haphhasard life as much as I did.

I absolutely loved this book!! It was surprising and it wasn't just a girl likes a guy and they live happily ever after. It actually felt realistic. It was a combined nation of funny, sad, and something that makes you angry. This book is definitely something I would recommend.

This book is a wonderful gem. It chronicles the month of December for Mia, princess of Genovia. She is busy preparing to meet her people, but has a few things to resolve before she leaves New York---finals and her social life. How Mia handles stress and Lana (who is still as horrible as ever) makes for a fun, believable read. And longtime fans of the series will be VERY happy with the final diary entry. Read it!

Mia Thermopolis is fourteen-year-olds, five foot nine, and has no signs of a visible chest. She is the Princess of Genovia and is getting ready to be introduced to the populist of Genovia. Her mom recently married her Algebra teacher Mr. Gianini. Her mother is into her third month of pregnancy, and deadly sick all the time. Everyday she has princess lessons that are taught by her Grandmere. She really does not like her boyfriend, Kenny and does not know what to do with him. Instead she is in love with her best friends (Lilly) older brother Michael Moscovitz. The problem is that she is afraid that he doesn't like and he only thinks of her as his little sister's best friend. Mia does not have a date to the nondenominational dance, because Kenny hasn't asked her yet. She would really like to go with Michael, but she's afraid he doesn't feel the same way about her. So, the big question is.... Who will Mia Thermopolis go to the winter nondenominational dance with (Kenny/ Michael/ or no body)?

What can I say about this book? Lots! Firstly, let me tell you, it is only once in awhile that "diary books" are as good as this one. I usually find that with others they tend to drone on about nothing and can never fully capture the essence of events. However, Princess in Love is a perfect portrayal of any teen going through changes. Written in Meg Cabot's style, that being of witty humor (yet not overdone sarcasm) and heartwarming moments, the Princess Diaries' 3rd volume is, in my opinion, the best of the trilogy. Mia is an inspiring character, but I could relate to her embarrassing moments and her shaky self-esteem. Although she is a famous princess who appears to have it all, Mia very rarely feels completely secure about herself, and ends up using her brain--not her looks--to save the day.
I give this book 5 stars for its originality, inspiration and good old sentiment.

PRINCESS IN LOVE, the third book in the Princess Diaries series is, in my opinion, even better than the first two. I don't want to spoil any of it, but I guarantee that if you read it you will love it. The best part is that I thought the series was going to be a trilogy. I thought after this one it was over - and it turns out there's going to be a TPD #4! I can't wait. :-)

"Princess in Love" by Meg Cabot has been my favorite in the princess diaries series so far. I can totally relate to Mia. Being a teenager and having so many worries and troubles. She loves Michael her best friend, Lily's older brother. Most girls i think can relate to this. All of us have that one secret crush that we are just hoping will like us back. There was only one problem in this book. It seemed that in the middle of the book Meg Cabot ran out of things to write so she stalled untill the end with useless random information. The end was worth it though! It was great!!! I'm not going to give it away but if you read this book, there is no possible way you couldnt like it!! I totally encourage girls everywhere to read it! It will teach you not to give up, and to keep on trying. If you do you will definatly acheive your goal, wish, or dream!

This book was good, and funny, also. Mia is actually happy when she smashes her tongue, buut I'm not going to tell you why. Kenny is smart, but, however, in Mia's mind, imperfect boyfriend material. My only complaint with this series is that a)Mia seems rather stupid in some areas other than writing and b)Mia and Micheal always seem to end up together. Other than that, it's good, it's funny, you should get it.

I throughly enjoyed this book. The first one was great, but the second one wasn't too earth-shattering. The reason I liked this book is that it finally tied up some plot lines that have been going from book one. (I won't say what plot lines, I wouldn't want to spoil it.) (You can probably guess anyway.)
Unfortunately, this is the last book in the series that I truly loved. Books 4, 4.5, and 5 are pretty stupid at times-- though Meg Cabot still writes with a solid teenage voice.

If you have read the first two Princess Diaries Books, by Meg Cabot, you will surely love the third in the series: Princess in Love. It is an awesome book that will make you laugh, cry, and definitely make you read the rest of the series. Mia Thermopolis, the unique protagonist, has recently learned that she is the sole heir to the Genovian throne, has a new boyfriend whom she secretly cannot stand, and is in love with her best friends' brother. Things are not going all too well to put it, and to add to Mia's trouble, she is flunking Algebra, in which her new stepfather (and the father of her mother's baby) is the teacher. Through the trials and errors of Mia's decisions, she learns that she's got to call it quits with Kenny and give up her hopes of ever getting asked to the Nondenominational Winter Dance. Being in love with your best friends' brother and having a boyfriend at the same time is not easy. Through putting it off continually, and with shameless luck, Mia soon is free from Kenny and has a new love in her life, to her surprise. This is a fabulous girl-world crack up book that will keep readers turning pages to find out what ridiculous thing Mia will do next. If you loved the first two books, this one is definitely for you! It's got the happiest ending you could find, and is hilarious! I would definitely give it five stars!

In the book, Princess In Love, by Meg Cabot, a young girl named Mia is trying to get used to the fact that she is a princess. Mia is a ninth grader at a private school in New York. She is a flat chested loser and her mom is pregnant by her algebra teacher.
Mia decides that she isn't in love with her boyfriend, Kenny. She is in love with another boy.
Since Mia is a princess, she has to visit the small country Giovinna, she is princess of. Mia has to leave on the 20th, in time for Christmas. Since she is not speaking to her grandmother, she thinks it will be very hard.
This book is a very fast read and great for young adult girls. Cabot writes in diary form, so it's actually like you're reading from a fifteen-year-old's diary.

In this third Princess Diaries installment, Mia finally has a boyfriend...but she doesn't love him. Instead, she's still suffering from a crush on her best friend's brother. As usual, Mia records her love troubles, along with her struggles to find time to study for finals, as well as prepare for her trip to Genovia, in her journal. All of this builds to an immensely satisfying conlusion, that, as usual, will leave readers eager for the next book!

This plot again, goes along with the first book. This is a very funny book, and this time, Mia has a boyfriend, which she has been waiting for her whole life! But the thing is: She doesn't like him. Mia is really secretly in love with her best friend's big brother. It didn't take me long to read this book, or any of the other ones, in fact, because it was so good. Any girl would probably like it! These books are way better than the (2) movies that were made.

Once again, Meg Cabot has written a great book. Out of the three Princess Diaries books, this one was definitely my favorite.
Continuing on from the first and second book, Mia Thermopolis (who is going to be the new princess of Genovia), is dealing now with her mom's pregnancy and her love life.
THAT'S ALL I CAN TELL YOU WITHOUT GIVING ANYTHING AWAY! Be sure to catch Meg Cabots Princess Diaries Volume III, Princess in Love. It's a great book, and it's totally worth the money.
Also, be sure to read the fourth book coming soon!

Mia doesn't make it any easier on her either since she is absolutely against the idea of her being a princess.
Mia gets very upset when she finds out that she is a princess. Her parents knew that she was a princess they had just been hiding it from her for her entire life. Mia finds this very upsetting and refuses to be a princess because she thinks that she is already enough of a "freak" adding a tiara wouldn't help, it would make it worse. Her father ends up trying to briber her into it which ends up working. However, Mia doesn't want the bribe for her, what her dad is bribing her she is having him give to what she is most dedicated to and wants to be when she grows up.
Mia goes through quiet an adventure finding out that she's a princess, not being able to tell anyone that she is a princess not even her best friend, and her dad making her go to "princess lessons" with her grandmother being the teacher, every single day after school. With all of her princess issue's going on she also has to keep up with school. Having a bad grade in algebra doesn't help.
The book The Princess Diaries obviously got its' name from the main character Mia being a princess with her diary that she is supposed to write in. She writes down all her thoughts and everything that happens and it is what is being read so the book is told through her eyes in her perspective. The author of this book did an excellent job of explaining Mia's feelings. Meg Cabot, the author, wrote this book thinking of her readers, she made is easy to read and understand. This book is also out on video.
