"I see my mission as helping others to shift their consciousness, so that all of their waking thoughts and actions are in the directions of order and harmony." ~ pg. 26
Unlike "The Secret" which seems to imply that you can get rich by simply thinking about it, Wayne Dyer is more practical in his approach. He says: "In order to make a visualization a reality in the world of form, you must be willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen." It seems that this works in his life to the extreme. He is either especially lucky or his thoughts have taken him to a place in his life where he lives abundantly.
"You'll See It When You Believe It" begins by explaining his own miraculous transformation. Wayne Dyer then explains how you too can undergo a personal transformation. For most of the book he focuses on forgiveness, detachment, synchronicity and abundance.
He has a few strange ideas like how God is a dreamer and we are the dream. He also believes in a "dream body" that we somehow take on while we are asleep. Apart from these few strange beliefs the rest of his book seems fairly harmless and mostly helpful.
There is a chapter where he spends an inordinate amount of time convincing the reader that we are "All One." I will say that his explanation of the idea is far better than I have read elsewhere. This idea could stop wars if enough people believed in it.
Wayne Dyer draws on wisdom from many cultures and religions to make his point. His ideas about detachment seem to be especially helpful as they would make you a more peaceful content person. While Wayne Dyer mentions meditation he doesn't give any instructions, for more information you may want to consider buying Getting in the Gap: Making Conscious Contact with God Through Meditation (Book with CD) which I found to be very helpful. I also enjoyed reading and reviewing: Wisdom of the Ages: 60 Days to Enlightenment.

Over the years, I've read many things authored by Wayne Dyer, in other people's books. And I first heard of him while listening the the Power Talk Tapes, in the 80's, by Tony Robbins.
"You'll See It When You Believe It," is a great book, where readers really get to know what led Wayne Dyer to go from an extremely bitter, enraged, hard-to-be-around person, to someone who others want to beat a path to. He's at peace with his spiritual-self.
I can just imagine being in a conversation with him, at a retail place, where he quietly balances being spiritual and worthy of respect. That alone would add value to your day.
And, this book, will add value to your entire life.
There are many books on the market about the power of thought, visualization and manifestation. Because Wayne's Dyer's voice, and life comes through this book, "You'll See It When You Believe It," is amongst the best.

You're probably familiar with the name Wayne W. Dyer because of his many best-selling books and his numerous lectures and appearances on radio and TV. This book builds on his earlier work, and takes it to another level - at once deeper and more personal. In the seven chapters of You'll See It When You Believe It, we are taken on a journey of self-awareness, and are offered the opportunity to rediscover the power of belief and of transformation. "Transformation," he says, "is the ability and willingness to live beyond your form." Breaking out of old forms and discovering new life is the theme of this inspiring and challenging book.
Drawing on his years of experience as a practicing psychologist, as well as his openness to exploring himself and sharing that with us, Wayne Dyer offers an expansive and wide ranging look at the transformative power of belief. He describes the ways that our beliefs shape our perceptions and experience of life AND shape the ways that our lives actually unfold.
As Henry David Thoreau said, "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
Taking this idea as a jumping off place, Wayne Dyer presents us each with an excellent guide to finding our best lives!

Dr. Wayne Dyer has crafted yet another amazing book on personal transformation. In 'You'll See It When You Believe It' he gives a detailed account of how to change not only the way you perceive reality, but reality itself. He shows how to bring your reality to a higher and more enlightened level which will necessarily include manifesting good, being internally driven, heightening the power of coincidence and connection, getting in the flow of the universe, achieving a greater sense of serenity, being in the moment, and being free of negative and fruitless emotions. It's the sort of book that makes you want to highlight passages and ideas. The text is filled with personal stories, examples and anecdotes to teach and inspire. It's ideal for those needing a little nudge (or a big jolt) in life. And it's ideal fuel for change.

Five stars are not enough stars to rate this book. This book is phenomenal! It far exceeded my expectation and tremendously transformed the way I view life and the world around me. I refer to this book always for inspiration, knowledge, and peace. It's an all-time top favorite book for me. From reading this book I received new insights and a clearer vision of my spiritual relationship with God and my own inner strength. I'm amazed by Wayne Dyer's teachings and spiritual gifts God has blessed him with in order for him to bless others. I highly recommend this book to everyone seeking to live a more loving, generous and peaceful life. This book will change your perspective of who you are and why you are. Get it, devour it, live it.

This book will change your life. It spooked me, but the changes I did allow have lasted almost 20 years. Even I still can't believe what the power of thought could do. Some are simple things; I ALWAYS get a great parking space, but that's an inconsequential thing. I realized I had and was able to stop an addictive behavior. But the spookiest thing, which doctors say cannot happen, was I cured a disease; scared me and I never did it again. I had plantars warts and when I was ready for them to be gone, with my entire mind and heart I insisted that they stop and they were gone the next day, plus they have never come back. "Spontaneous remission" is the term doctors use, but they really don't think it can happen. I just nod my head in amazement. Thank you Dr Dyer.

The hardcopy version of this book was the very first book I read in the spiritual growth category. To this day, nearly two decades later, I still look back on it as a pivotal, life-changing work. The chapter on "Forgiveness" in particular is the best content regarding that subject that I have ever come across. For this reason and more, I include "You'll See It When You Believe It" as a "must-read" in the recommended reading list included within my own book.

This book is abound with breathtaking insights, i had a look at it and liked the title as i was beginning a study on prosperity, because in my life there was a lot of financial uncertainties and believed a lot of rubbish about succeding, from this book i learned to affirm myself and the world around me, as i realised that prosperity is not about who raised you, what your career and level is, but upon the level of faith and spiritual savvy which is easily obtainable if one only asked for it.
There are a lot of other sub-topics cavered in the book with a view for readers to gain transformation which is a requisite to achieving it, some of the exercises are kinder troublesome, like forgiveness, which is almost impossible for a majority of us people, but as we learn in the book, lack of forgivenss is one of the final blocks that can curb transformation.
I also gained a little bit of understanding of some of the concepts introduced in the Matrix movies in this book.

Although all the books written by Dr. Dyer are extremely helpful, this one really makes you a better person. This book enables one to become at peace with oneself & others. Should be made 'compulsory reading' in colleges.

Although I love Wayne Dyer's work immensely, I felt the CD version of this book did not have the depth and breadth of what might be found in the book version. . The CD states on the cover that the author was "reading" from the book but that was not what was given. It pulled together bits and pieces of his lectures and it did not flow smoothly or have the level of information I was expecting. Very disappointed.

This book is an inspiratiaon to me. It has helped me tremendously in changing myself and my life in a most positive way. I am bringing myself out of major depression with the aid of this book and other sources. I will also be sharing it with my teenage children and spouse. Thank you Wayne Dyer, the author, and to the friend who recommended it to me.
