Mister Tonight checked all of my single hot dad trope boxes - a great dad, a brave heroine, and a plucky adorable little girl.

In Mister Tonight, Kate is looking for a one night stand to recharge her batteries before moving into a new apartment and starting the next chapter of her life. She finds Hunter at a bar and promptly follows him back to his place for what promises to be a hot night... until his young daughter interrupts their fun times at a very inopportune time. Mortified, Kate bolts without a second look back (I mean, really - who wouldn't?). The next day when Kate meets her new landlord, she finds out it's none other than Hunter from the bar. And his daughter, of course. Who remembers her. And not fondly.

I love in stories like this how at least one part of the couple decides it's best to cool it because of the child involved. And how they think they'll be successful, when we as readers know that it's going to be impossible at this point. But, it's fun watching them try.

In this case, both Hunter and Kate think it's best to not act any more on their attraction, both because of his daughter and because of their close proximity to one another now. But, like all best laid plans of this nature, those plans are futile, and their struggle ultimately leads to some really explosive encounters.

What I enjoyed most about Mister Tonight was the extremely low angst quotient. If you're looking for a fun, funny, sexy read with absolutely no drama, then look no farther - you've found the holy grail. This was an easy read that satisfied me to the core.

SOOO freaking CUTE!!! The blurb got me giggling the whole time. It’s Kate 30th birthday celebration and she was looking for Mister Tonight. Hunter - a tall, dark, handsome, business suit-wearing sexy man fit the bill. Kate got her wish - she was having the hottest birthday sex ever … until they were interrupted by Hunter’s little sleepy daughter. OMG! I can’t even ? Kate bolted out the door in two seconds flat thanking GOD that it was a one-night stand and she never had to face Hunter again, right? Well, the next day Kate moved into her new apartment… lo and behold she met her new landlord – Hunter. ?
I like the slow burn chemistry between Hunter and Kate. Kate and Hunter’s relationship developed slowly after that one awkward night. Kate is a commitment phobe but I also think she is taking things slow out of respect for Hunter and his daughter. The attraction they have for each other is undeniable. So, with the two seeing each other every day it’s hard for either one to resist the temptation. Eventually, Kate and Hunter agree to enjoyi a good time together with no expectations. I like Kate’s personality sassy, independent, carefree. I adore Hunter and his little girl. Single dad, sweet, gorgeous, swoony. Mister Tonight is such a feel-good romance. Two people who find love when they least expect it.
Kendall Ryan delivered another sweet, hilarious, sexy, swoony, fantastic love story. Fast-paced and entertaining with the perfect mixture if heat and humor. I can't get enough of this author. Her stories always light me up and put a huge smile on my face :) A must summer read!!!

Mister Tonight is another perfect example of what Kendall excels at - writing really sweet and romantic stories.

This book starts off with Hunter and Kate meeting at a bar and having a one night fling - except things get interrupted mid-sexy time and thus ending anyone getting their happy ending.

As the blurb tells you, Kate ends up being Hunter's tenant. However, things don't just go right into them being hot and sexy immediately. Oh no, no, no. Kate was not lying when she said she was commitment-phobe. She is truly excited to finally live on her own with no roommates and live her single life, even with her landlord being the one night stand, interrupted.

I love that Kendall has both Hunter and Kate acting very mature about things and never muddling shit up. They are both upfront on how they feel and keeping things no-strings. I need to say one thing that I really loved so much about this book was Kate's aloof approach on her causal hook-ups. I love that she owned who she was and was not apologetic about it; BUT I also loved the Hunter did not look at her any differently, if anything, he liked her even more for being confident in what she wanted in life and not holding back because of society's view. OK - enough about that, but just wanted to point that out because that made me love Kate (and Kendall) even more.

Kendall played this book out perfectly. While the book was fast-paced, everything played out naturally. Nothing was rushed, there was no unnecessary drama and the sexy times were HOT!!! Another great romance from Kendall!

4 stars for - Mister Tonight - by Kendall Ryan. A complete stand alone about a woman who never planned on finding someone special and a single dad who's primary focus is raising his little girl. There were so many laughs and even a few tears in this sweet but crazy sexy story of how they fell in love.
Kate is a celebrity gossip columnist who writes all about the crazy drama that surrounds their lives therefore she tends to keep her own relationships very brief not even minding the occasional one night variety too. While out with her closest friends for her thirtieth birthday she decides she is going home with a gorgeous man for some much needed birthday fun but she needs to find someone that "fits the bill" first. Kate sees a gorgeous man in a suit at the bar who will do quite nicely for the evening and makes her move.
Hunter works as a city planner and is a single dad to a gorgeous four year old girl. Stopping for a drink after work and seeing a gorgeous woman was a bonus but when she suggests heading to his place he realizes things are about to get rather interesting. They hit it off rather spectacularly until they are interrupted by his daughter mid hook-up since he forgot to lock the door. Thinking he would never get to see her again he is thrown for a loop when she shows up the next day looking to rent his apartment.

Kate is out celebrating her 30th birthday when she has an epiphany. She doesn’t want or need a relationship. She needs to find a Mr Tonight. A man that will give her exactly what she wants with no strings attached. When she spots a gorgeous man in the bar she thinks her prayers have been answered.

Single dad Hunter doesn’t normally go out looking for a one night stand but when he realises Kate wants the same as him, he’s all for it. So much so that not only does he forget to mention he’s a single dad with a very curious 4 year old daughter at home but he also fails to lock the door giving Kate and his daughter the shock of their lives. When Kate hot tails it from his house, neither of them expect to have to see the other again.

I loved Kate. She’s got a carefree vibe about her that I really liked. Hunter is everything! He's not interested in playing games and i really liked that maturity that he had. I loved how he accepted Kate for who she was without batting an eye. The tension between Kate and Maddie was brilliant and added a real ness to their relationship.

Overall this is another great romance from this author. It’s fast paced, the characters are extremely easy to like, there’s plenty of hotness and it’ll have you cringing in sympathy while trying not to snort laugh. I thoroughly enjoyed Mister Tonight.

What do you get when a curvy commitment phobe and a sexy single father find each other in a bar? A sweet rom-com full of heat, laughs and cute mishaps.

Kate & Hunter may have not had the best hook-up, what with his daughter walking in on them. But it sure was a memorable one. Kate is humiliated and Hunter is worried about scaring his kid. And they both find themselves unable to shake one another from their thoughts. The fleeting moment they had is one they both would like another shot at. But know it will have to be just a memory to look back on and laugh at one day.

Or sooner, considering Kate's new landlord is the Hunter who was about to give her one hell of a birthday present before she ran out of his house. Living so close, is bond to make things complicated.

The intense attraction Hunter and Kate feel for each other, draws them in over and over again. But Kate, is just looking for causal. And Hunter has to worry about any type of relationship getting messy. He has to look out for his daughter first.

Kate and Hunter were a sweet, sexy pair. I loved their chemistry and the friendship they formed. Their back and forth's were so sweet and made you giddy waiting for them to interact again and again.

Casual hookups, baking and flirty run ins, make for a fun and fast paced read.

In this latest tale from Kendall Ryan, we follow Kate as she finds herself in a VERY awkward situation. She finds a hot guy to hook up with for her birthday. Only problem is, that his daughter interrupts them when they are having their fun. What is a girl to do? Obviously move in to the apartment above his so now he is your landlord.

I gotta say, this is probably my favorite book that Ryan has written. It’s a quick read (easily done in 1-2 sittings), witty, romantic, steamy, and has a good message especially when Hunter is with his daughter. I am a sucker for a good romance novel that has a father doting on his daughter. Also, how he is with Kate is even more yummy. Being a dad means responsibilities and I like that Ryan wrote a male character that isn’t just looking to have one night flings with someone. But actually want a relationship b/c there are guys out there like that. We just don’t ever get to see them in stories.

The romance part of the story wasn’t the biggest part and I liked that Ryan spent more time developing the two characters and their relationship instead of just giving us the steamy scenes. Don’t get me wrong. There are a few of those (especially the first few times they hook up). But she focuses more on showing the difficulty of being a single parent and trying to have an adult relationship.

Mister Tonight is another great read by Kendall Ryan. A single parent stand alone romance that will keep you entertained and happy from the very first page. Just imagine this: you are out partying for your thirtieth birthday and decide to go home with a swoon worth man to finish celebrating. In the middle of celebrating, in walks in his 4 year old daughter and asks what is going on. Then you find out he is your new landlord! You have to read Mister Tonight to see what happens next.

Hunter made me swoon! He was such a good father and so involved and sweet with his daughter Sloan. Kate is a commitment phoebe, but she might just have met the one to make her change her ways. They try to keep things platonic, but really after they tested their chemistry on Kate's birthday, it's pretty hard to ignore. All this made for a quick and engaging read. I loved both MCs and Hunter's daughter, Sloan, was so cute and added a little something extra to the whole story.

Mister Tonight was a fun, light, read. It’s relatively short, so it would make for a great book to take to the pool or beach. Just know that you will be reading a few steamy intimate scenes in public. Kendall Ryan delivered a great angst-free romance with Mister Tonight. Mister Tonight is a perfect summertime read you should definitely add to your list.

I absolutely love everything that Kendall Ryan writes. She creates the sexiest male characters. Mister Tonight is a sweet, sexy fast paced read.

Kate is out celebrating her thirtieth birthday with some friends. She is not interested in a relationship but wants to find a hot guy to spend the night with. She spots a hot guy across the bar and they hit it off quickly. They end up going to his house and during their romp between the sheets they hear a little voice asking what Kate is doing to her daddy. Kate is so embarrassed she gets dressed and runs out.Hunter is left explaining to Maddie what Kate was doing to him.

Kate is quite shocked when she goes to check out her new apartment and finds out Hunter is her new landlord. She tries to deny her attraction to Hunter but the more she sees him the harder it gets. Hunter is very attracted to Kate but doesn't want to push things to hard because he has enough going on in his life. Will these two be able keep fighting their feelings or will love finally win out? I guess you will have to read to find out.

I loved the connection between Hunter and Kate. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. Maddie is absolutely adorable and definitely stole the show. I can't wait to see what Kendall is working on next!

Gahhh! Kendall Ryan just did it again. She delivered another delicious romance full of hot sexy times, a strong and sassy heroine and all the Single Daddy swoons. A perfect five-star winning combination!

When Kate meets Hunter she never would have expected that he would shake up her life. Always looking for Mister Tonight versus Mister Right, Kate's carefree and no-strings lifestyle comes into question when the connection she forms with Hunter and his adorable four year old daughter makes her rethink her stance on the need for love in her life. But when lines get crossed and feelings develop will Kate allow herself the chance at happiness or will her commitment phobic ways catch up to her?

This novel was FANTASTIC and may be my new favorite Kendall Ryan book yet (Sorry Zach!!) It was full of the usual heat and humor we've come to expect from this author but with a unique twist that I loved. In this story Hunter was the one who wanted a relationship and a commitment whereas Kate was the wary and skittish party who was unsure. It was a nice change from the norm seeing how she was the one to realize that Hunter and his sweet daughter were the exception to everything she thought she wanted. I truly loved this and never wanted this story to end! Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

On the eve of her thirtieth birthday, Kate decides to find someone to have birthday sex with. She’s looking for Mister Tonight, not Mister Forever, because she doesn’t do relationships. After several failed relationships and watching her sister’s marriage to her soul mate fall apart, she’s convinced there’s no such thing as true love, so she only has casual hook-ups.

When she sees Hunter across the bar she’s at with her two best friends, she decides he’s Mister Tonight. They talk and have a drink, and she goes home with him. On the way there, he mentions he has a child. Hunter is a single father to four-year-old Maddie. When they get to Hunter’s place, they don’t waste much time and before you know it, Kate’s having the best sex of her life.

It all comes to a crashing halt when a small voice asks Kate what she’s doing to her daddy. Yep, the noise that Kate and Hunter were making woke Maddie up, and she’s come to investigate. Kate is mortified, dressed and gone within minutes, leaving poor Hunter not only unsatisfied but having to explain to his daughter what he was doing.

Kate is thankful she’ll never have to run into Hunter again after the embarrassing end to the night, so the next morning she takes one of her friends to the new apartment she’s leased. It’s above a garage behind the landlord’s house. As they near the new place, Kate can’t help but feel like the location is familiar… and then she discovers that her new landlord is none other than Hunter.

She loves the apartment and the renovations he’s done to it, so they agree to put their first night behind them and be friends. Kate prays that Maddie doesn’t recognise her in daylight, but she’s underestimated the memory of a four-year-old and Maddie delivers the best lines of the book when she sees Kate moving in. Maddie is resentful of Kate, because she thinks the new neighbour was hurting her father, but Kate manages to get Maddie to warm up to her by spending time with her and doing activities together. Kate and Hunter can’t seem to stay away from each other and end up having sex again a few times (despite their assurances they won’t again), and eventually the three of them go on outings together. The longer they’re around each other, the more Kate realises that she’s fallen in love with Hunter. She’s freaked out by that at first, because she didn’t think she wanted the whole family thing, but comes to realise that’s exactly what she wants.

Fortunately, Hunter feels the same, but they’re both nervous about breaking the news to Maddie that they’re a couple. She responds in typical four year old fashion: “Well, duh!”. Another winner from Kendall Ryan; this book will both make you laugh out loud and melt your heart.

Mister Tonight is Kendall Ryan’s next sexy, and fun standalone novel. I actually didn’t even read the synopsis so I had no idea what the book was going to be about. Well...I knew from the title and cover that the plan was to have a one night fling with a lick-able hot man.

Kate was turning thirty at midnight and starting off her thirties with a bang would make her night. She thought she was s- out of luck until she saw him. Mister Tall, Dark, and Handsome. In a suit looking casual against the bar. She wanted him and after some flirting and talking, he brings her to his place. Yay! Birthday sex! It was amazing until a little girl walks in and makes Kate not walk but run in shame. Mortified. But at least she wouldn’t have to see Hunter or his daughter again. That was until the next morning when she tours her new apartment. Above his garage.

Kate didn’t know if she could do this. She still wanted him but she was not a commitment type of woman. And he has a kid. A sassy and cute kid but still. Would he be able to handle having a no-strings attached friendship with his tenant? Would he even want to? Or is he looking for a wife, and a mom for Maddie because if that was the case, she was not it. A girl can always ask, right?

Hunter wanted her from the moment he saw her. He knew what the deal was and he accepted it. Until...he caught feelings. He liked her. She was funny, sexy, and made his daughter laugh. He didn’t want to hide his feelings but he didn’t want to scare her away. Will she ever want what he wants?

Overall...it’s a quick read that made me laugh, tear up, and feel the heat. Their chemistry is amazing. Their banter is fun and flirty. I loved how their relationship flowed. And Maddie...that kid is adorable and so smart.

Quotes:

I was a huge sucker for a guy in a nice suit, and based on the way it fit, I had a feeling he’d look even better without it on.

“Let’s just say he was worth the wait.” I grinned, hoping they wouldn’t want too many details.

“Hunter, are you afraid of your own daughter?”
“What can I say? She’s intimidating.”

When out celebrating her 30th Birthday Kate decides she wants her Mr Tonight but definitely not a Mr Forever so a one night stand will appease. This is where she meets Hunter, a godly looking man in a bar who also happens to be a single father to a very curious 4 year old.

Back at Hunters place Kate is having the best sex of her life when the little voice pops up "What are you doing to my Daddy?". Mortified and taken aback, Kate hightails it out of there leaving Hunter to explain things to his daughter. Little be known to Kate she ends up back in the same place the next day as it turns out Hunter is the landlord to her new apartment and it so happens to be above his garage. Maybe friends with benefits could be the answer but what happens if feelings become a problem?

There is nothing I love more than a good book with a heroine that is strong and can hold her own, don't get me wrong sometimes the heroines persona can all depend in the situation she is in and which genre category it falls in. This was a swoon worthy romance that will leave you ohhhing and ahhhing and lets not forget hot under the collar when it comes to the bedroom department.

Kendall Ryan certainly knows how to write a really good story with equal amounts of hotness all in the right places. This single Dad Romance will have you hooked and you will not put it down until you read those words The End. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to see what Kendall Ryan writes next.

With Mister Tonight Kendall Ryan adds another lighthearted and fun tale to her repertoire. It’s fast paced and easy to read going straight to the crux of the story.

Celebrity gossip columnist Kate doesn’t want a relationship, she just wants to have fun on her birthday. She finds herself celebrating her thirtieth birthday and having a great time between the sheets with the sexiest man she’s ever met until his four year old daughter interrupts them. Her embarrassment doesn’t end there though, it gets even more awkward when Kate finds out her new landlord and neighbor is none other than single dad and Mr. Sexy himself.

With fate intervening and a bit of maturity on both Kate and Hunter’s part they decide the arrangement can work for their benefit. Kate desperately needs a place to live, Hunter needs to rent the free space, they’re both adults who know what they want and are attracted to each other. What can be the harm in a no strings, friends with benefits deal?
I wasn’t committed to being a stable role model for his daughter, and it wouldn’t be fair to him or her to blur the lines in our relationship.

The story unfolds from both points of view giving us both the hero and heroine’s perspective. He’s a committed father while she’s a commitment phobe. Even though they’re on opposite ends of the relationship spectrum they respect each other and enjoy spending time together, sneaking around from Hunter’s little girl (who in my opinion didn’t act according to her age and was grating at times), toeing the no strings devil may care line, giving into their crackling attraction yet unwilling to acknowledge the deeper feeling that have been developing between them.

Mister Tonight is an easy to read, fast, funny and sexy standalone written by Kendall Ryan. It is told from both points of view with a happy ending.

“What are you doing to my daddy?”

That had me cracking up and making grabby hands at Mister Tonight because if that was just the beginning of things, then I really needed to see how everything else would play out between Kate and Hunter and I have to say their story was all kinds of fun and smexy goodness from start to finish.

Kate and Hunter were a lot of fun. Kate is sassy, sweet, snarky and though has a few insecurities, when she’s in the zone she’s all kinds of confident and has no problem speaking her mind. Hunter is cool, confident and all kinds of nummy. With charm and charisma in spades, the fact that he’s a wonderful parent is simply a bonus.

Their journey starts off with a big bang and an even bigger fizzle of that bang, but fate steps in and Kate and Hunter find themselves in very close proximity which has them spending a lot of time together and their chemistry was off the charts. They had a flow to their interactions that made it seem like they’d known each other for years instead of mere moments. And then there is Maddie, Hunter’s adorable four year old who definitely keeps them on their toes, who, in her own way, helps to push them closer together. The bumps in their journey are relatively small ones aka low drama and angst, and more of their own making than anything else, but do keep things interesting as they come to realize that they are perfect for each other.

Mister Tonight really was a fun, quick, low on drama read and I found myself grinning throughout the entire book, even when I huffed in frustration at Kate and Hunter when they over thought things. So, if a steamy, quick story with heat and humor is what you’re looking for, then this one is for you!

Mister Tonight is Kendall Ryan's new standalone romance. As you know, I'm a huge fan of Kendall and her books. I know when I pick up one of her books I'm going to be completely engrossed and entertained. Mister Tonight did not disappoint. It has all the makings of a great romance. Hot, sexy single dad. Independent, sassy female lead. Fun loving best friends and a spitfire of a little girl. It's Kate's thirtieth birthday and she's dressed up, pleasantly drunk and looking for Mister Tonight. Nothing more. She's shocked to catch the eye of a ridiculously hot man at the bar, looking sexy as sin in his suit. They meet, have a drink and leave together. Kate goes after what she wants. She's not shy. She's not timid. She's not a toothpick, skinny twit. She knows what she wants and she wants Hunter. Their one night is interrupted by his daughter and Kate is mortified. Only to relive the embarrassment the next day when she finds out he's her new landlord. That's ok. She can do this. She can ignore his sexy…everything. Hunter has never wanted a woman the way he wants Kate. She's curvy, mouthy and confident. He's not looking for a mother for his daughter, but he is a single dad and Maddie comes first. But he wants Kate even if it means just physically. But after spending time with her laughing, cooking, just being, he wants more. What happens when Hunter wants more than just her body? Will Kate go running the other way or does she want more too? I loved this story! I loved how Hunter was sexy without knowing it. I loved Kate and her sassiness. And Maddie was hilarious! Kids just make everything better! Ha. Overall, I laughed, got hot and bothered, teared up and swooned.

This book was such a fantastic read! I really enjoyed it. I am really enjoying reading Kendall’s books. Her writing has a way of keeping me intrigued from start to end. Mister Tonight was funny as well as a really sweet romance.

Kate is looking for her Mister Tonight and think she has found him when she spots Hunter on her 30th birthday. What happens after is hilarious! Kate is a really caring character. Although she thinks she wants one thing, her actions show another. I liked how she was with Hunter and Maddie.
Hunter is a smoking hot single dad. He really is a swoon worthy character. He is sweet, caring, and would do anything for anyone. The way he is with his daughter is just so sweet.
Maddie is such a cute little girl. She is quite sassy for her age, but I guess a lot of kids can be these days! These three characters make for a beautiful love story!

I laughed, I swooned, I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a quick read and I didn’t want it to end, I wanted more of the love I felt coming from Kate and Hunter. This story is close to my own love story as I fell in love with a single father, so this story is close to my heart. I loved the ending of Mister Tonight, I thought it was a perfect end to such a cute and sweet story. I can’t wait for more Kendall stories!

Yes, yes, just yes! Mister Tonight was completely amazing!! This was one of the BEST introductions into a book that I have ever read! Like… seriously hooted out with laughter and I was unable to put it down after that! Ms. Kendall Ryan totally kills this story! I mean, you have this incredibly hot and just plain insatiable night going on with this crazy hot man of tonight and then you hear this cute little voice from behind… I died! No joke, I’m writing this from beyond the grave because I laughed myself to death just with that scene alone!

I really love the role reversal happening in Mister Tonight. Kate is not looking for Mister Right; she’s looking for Mister Tonight. She wants fun and no strings. Who better than the incredibly sexy man across the bar? A hot and intense one night stand in on the cards. It doesn’t end there, oh no, fate is messing with Kate. By messing I mean… fate is putting Hunter right in front of her face at every opportunity.

Ms. Kendall Ryan’s books keep getting better with every new release. I can’t handle these fun and amazing characters. Kate is fun and full of life. Hunter is a perfect and sexy daddy. I’m seriously drowning happily in all these floods of single parent stories. I love them! Ms. Ryan is creating these stories that pull in my heart and consume me from start to finish.

Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

Sexy Single Dad - Yes Please! This is such a sweet and funny romance. Kate didn't think anything could be worse than being caught, during sex, by her one night stands little girl. Well she was wrong, it turns out that he is her new landlord. Kate needs a place to live and loves the suburban setting, so she doesn't want to lose this perfect place to live. She enjoys being single and is not ready to settle down. But Hunter is so sweet, fun, and sexy, and Maddie, with her suspicious eyes, is so adorable, she can't help but fall for them both. Hunter can't stop thinking about his new independant, sassy tenant and her sexy curves, but he and Maddie are a package deal. The more time they all spend together, they more they begin to realize, that just maybe, they could be more. This was everything I crave in my romance stories. It has strong and sexy characters, witty dialog, steamy passion, all in a funny, heartwarming story!
Narrators, Andi Arndt, and Sebastian York make this even more sweet and sexy with their perfect performance. Their chemistry as Kate and Hunter is off the charts as they deliver all the awkward, steamy, and heartwarming moments beautifully.
I absolutely loved this funny, sweet and sexy romance!

This one night to more story is hilarious, embarrassing, and passionate with a little pre-school drama. From getting caught in the act to questions about "special adult snuggle-time", the four year old keeps you on your toes. And now a bit about the story...

Kate is out with friends to celebrate her birthday and is searching for the right Mister Tonight. When she spots Hunter at the bar they are drawn to each other. Things quickly heat up and end up back at Hunter's place, where he springs the news he's a single Dad. Not to be deterred, Kate sees no issue until she is accused of hurting said Daddy. She quickly dresses and escapes, only to end up back in each other's radar. Will the second chance be the one?

Favorite passages:
- Don’t mess with a good thing.
- “What is she doing here? Did she forget her underpants?”
- The only thing he could do to help put out this fire was to bend me over the kitchen table, but of course I couldn’t say that.
- Mostly, I just needed to get him out of here so I could focus on cooking dinner instead of thinking about spit-roasting his sausage with my tongue.

Note: I was given a free copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

Kate wants to make her 30th birthday memorable and boy does she ever. She heads to the bar with two of her friends with the sole intention of finding a man to help her celebrate her birthday with a bang. She sees Hunter at the bar and decides that he would be the perfect choice.

Hunter is a single father to his four year old daughter Maddie and from the moment he met Kate the sparks flew so they head to his house. Just when they were in the midst of having some adult fun a little voice asks what Kate was doing to her Daddy. Mortified Kate couldn’t get out of there fast enough and the only saving grace was that she would never have to see Hunter or Maddie again.

Wrong! It turns out Hunter is her new landlord and they agree to just be friends, but it quickly turns into friends with benefits. They are developing feelings for each other however everything that Kate has seen and experienced has shown her that love and relationships don’t last but will Hunter and Maddie be able to convince her that happy ever afters do exist?

Humor, heat and Maddie’s one line zingers make this a story you don’t want to miss. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

“Can Mister Tonight turn into Mister forever? 5 stars”

Kate doesn’t think happily ever afters are possible. She thought her sister had the perfect marriage and that failed, her parents were a lost cause, so she knows relationships are not in her wheel house. Until she meets Hunter. There is just something about Hunter and his daughter Maddie that calls to her. Will she finally give the family idea a try or will she run before they give it a go?

Hunter is a single dad and he’s perfectly happy with that. Although sometimes it would be nice to have the attention of a woman. Hunter isn’t into one-night stands but when he meets Kate she makes it tempting, and then it goes all awry. What will happen when they find out Kate and his life are slightly entwined? Will they let their feelings take over or ignore them?

Mister Tonight went by in the blink of an eye. It was jam packed with awkward humor and made me smile. What more could you ask for in a book? These two were kind of a mess who were just trying to find their way.

Funny and super sexy!

This was just want I needed. Mister Tonight was entertaining, witty and I totally fell in love with a four year old girl! Kate is turning 30 and is not a relationship kind of girl. She is just looking for her Mister Tonight and then he walks in. Single-dad, Hunter is trying to navigate life as a single parent and is also not really looking for anything permanent. After a disastrously funny first attempt at adult special cuddles, Kate finds out that the handsome man from the night before is her new landlord.

I really enjoyed these two characters, they were fun and light. Becoming friends and just being, attempting again not to be anything serious. Throw in the antics of spit-fire of a four year old and you have the recipe for a great read. I enjoyed the light-hearted feel of this book and it was super sexy. I read this in the curse of an evening because I just couldn't put it down. I wanted to keep reading. I wanted to see what Maddie would say or how Kate would get her landlord to come over, or how Hunter would react. A definite summer afternoon type of read, that will have you giggling and swooning all at the same time.

Sometimes a girl isn't necessarily looking for her happily ever after. Sometimes all she wants is some no-strings fun. Kate just wants to bring in her 30th birthday with the proverbial bang, and she's found just the right guy in Hunter. Tall, dark, and oh, so sexy, Hunter is just the guy to make turning 30 one heck of a great thing. Except...

I know that I am in for feel-good read that's not too heavy, and that is guaranteed to satisfy when I pick up a book by Kendall Ryan. Likable characters, plots that are easy to get lost in, and a guaranteed HEA are the things that make her books some of my go-tos, and MR. TONIGHT is right up there as another win. Following Hunter and Kate as they navigate their relationship makes for a lighthearted and enjoyable time, and Hunter's daughter Maddie is just the twist needed to kick things up a notch and keep things extra hilarious and heartwarming.

MISTER TONIGHT is an easy 4 stars for me, and ranks right up there as one of my favorites of Kendall's contemporary romances. A must-read for fans of Kendall, this one is sure to touch your heart and leave you smiling.

Oh my what a priceless story this was. I absolutely adored it. I giggled, I swooned and at moments wanted to yell because I wanted something to happen. Kendall Ryan has a way with words that makes you fall in love and never want to leave her stories. I absolutely loved Kate. She was witty and sassy. I loved how she fumbled but stood tall. The dishwasher moment was priceless. Then you have Hunter. I love how devoted he is to his daughter and how he is always wanting to be the one there for her but needed to feel more than just a parent. Then you put Kate and Hunter together and it is pure magic. They play so well off of each other and their chemistry is amazing. Enter Hunter’s daughter and laughs ensue! There were some very hilarious but very amazing moments as these three navigate life.
Overall, I think this is one of my faves by Ryan. She blends a single father story in such a brilliant way that I could not put it down. I loved every moment of this story. It was fluid and quick paced. Though that may be because I just wanted to devour it so badly! I highly recommend this one and you will not regret it!

As always, Andi Arndt and Sebastian York knocked it out of the park with their narration!

Mister Tonight is the story of a single Dad and a young woman who meet by chance in a bar on her 30th birthday.

Several comedic scenes later and we find ourselves with two people brought together by fate.

This book was cute, humorous and worth a read. I found several moments laugh out loud worthy... and lots of fan myself moments mixed in too.

There was nothing Earth shattering or really new in terms of plot, but it was still an entertaining little read.

OMG Mister Tonight is a sassy and sexy story! Ashley @White Hot Reads

Kendall Ryan had me laughing out loud when Kate and her friends go out for her 30th Birthday and wants a Mister Tonight and not a Mister Forever to celebrate. Hunter was just looking for a good time but what he forgot about was being a single dad and not locking his door when he brings his fun home for the night. When Hunter’s daughter stops the fun in the middle and Kate goes running. What happens next starts a sweet romance and a great read! This is a quick and easy read and great book for the pool!

Really enjoyable sexy and sweet romance.

Mister Tonight starts out with a bang. Hot-guy across a bar who’s gorgeous and sweet meets curvy and beautiful woman, seeking a one night stand. The chemistry was palpable. The flirty banter is fun. But surprise, he’s a single dad and this one night hookup is interrupted I. The most embarrassing way. I loved it.

It’s a very quick and engaging read. I liked both MCs. There’s a cute kid. Plus the relationship growth was perfect. All in All a super fun read!

Hot single dad Hunter and his sassy new tenant Kate have chemistry in spades! Kate meets Mister Tonight on her 30th birthday in a club. Hooking up at his home is interrupted by his young daughter, and then it turns out Kate is the new tenant in the apartment attached to his home. This is such a cute story. Despite their best efforts to keep things casual, Hunter and Kate Fall in love. I loved the epilogues - getting a glimpse into the HEA future is one of my favorite things.

Great story. Funny, flirtatious, great chemistry, page turner...This book had it all. Hunter is a hot, sexy dad who is in need of some adult time. Sparks fly when he meets Kate. Everything is going great until his daughter walks in at the most inopportune time. Of course Kate isn't looking for anything serious but how can she resist Hunter when he is living in the house right next door and is her new landlord. Kendall did a great job with this story. Mister Tonight is the story of the amusing Kate who just turn 30 and is enjoying her no-string attached love life. That is until her embarrassing one-night stand with Hunter, single dad of a delightful, precocious four-year-old. The writing is amusing and crisp, and the story is a perfect blend of drama, entertaining dialogue and hot romance. I'm a big fan of Kendall Ryan and this book went to the top of my list from all her other ones. It's entertaining, funny, and passionate!

It's apparent that Hunter is sensitvie about some things, “alteration to our agreement. Let’s not use the word pretty ever again in relation to any of my body parts, especially my ***k,” I said, pressing my lips to hers." Hunter is a smart man he knows there's gonna be trouble when there's two women ganging up on him, "maybe I wasn’t as prepared for this whole two-against-one thing as I thought." I liked this book, I really loved Hunter

What could be worse than while having the best sex of your life you are interrupted by a little voice? What about when you find out the one night stand you are having is with your new landlord? Yep, mortifying moments at their best is what this story starts off with. This is fun and flirty. Kendall Ryan excels in writing sexy and witty banter. Hunter’s vulnerability makes him even more attractive and can you say, swoony single dad? His dedication to his daughter, Maddie, is admirable and heartwarming.

It took me awhile to warm up to Kate, she’s commitment-phobic to a tiring point, at times. But she eventually won me over once her mind’s made up.

Great summer read.
