Beholden (Salvation)

Corinne did it again. Of course I re-read beloved again before I read beholden and I must admit I was scared. I fell in love with Jackson and Catherine and I needed for them to get their HEA. No spoilers here but I can say Beholden was a journey. I laughed and cried, and couldn't bear to read another word in some spots until I glimpsed the next page first. Then I laughed and cried some more, freaked out, and almost threw my kindle.
I LOVED IT!
If you like a book that does all kinds of things to your heart...this is the book for you.

We come back to the roller coaster of emotions with Catherine and Jackson. One minute they're happy and the next thinking the worst.

Catherine secures a higher position within the computer. But all in the same time period she finds out some heart breaking information about Jackson. Will the two of them make amends? Or will everything fall apart like they are both used to?

I can honestly say that this story had a good ending...better then what I was expecting.

I loved Beloved and now Beholden even MORE!! I couldn't wait for the continuation of Catherine and Jackson's story.

This book gripped me from page one ,the story picks up right were it left off . I was a mess and couldn't put it down . I ugly cried , laughed, cried some more and thought damn that was Hot! This is without a doubt one of my favorite reads this year . The writing was perfection and I'm looking forward to more from Corinne ...

If you thought you knew Jackson from Beloved, you are wrong! WOW! This is the second in the Salvation series and WOW! Just WOW! I'm floored at the depth of this story and while I yearn for more of Jackson, I feel that it was a great ending to Catherine and Jackson's love story, though I'd love to see some twist with them down the road in the future years. I think we could all stand to have a little more of Jackson in our lives :) Well done!!

Jackson and Catherine's story concludes in this one. I about side When the first one ended. But this one just about broke me. He is hurt and her heart can't take it no more. She has been left alone by all man she has ever loved. But when he need her she is there. Love will conquer all. Then a secret comes out and she has to chose what's best for her. Will she make the right choice, will he chose her for once?? I loved this book so friking much!!!

I loved the conclusion to the story of Jackson and Catherine. They faced so many up and downs in their relationship, but they always seemed to come out stronger than before. That last hurdle was the big one, and it broke my heart for the both of them. Someone you can love someone so much and it still isn't enough. These two proved that and then some. So much emotion, good and bad. Really glad I got lost in this story.

I really enjoyed this series! Jackson and Catherine's story is one that will have you wanting more. There were times when Catherine drove me crazy but I respected her reasons for holding back. But I loved LOVED seeing Jackson express his love for her. Just so damn dreamy. This series is definitely in my reread list.

While I love the story and the heat between Jackson & Catherine, I just couldn't read this all the way thru without putting it down to take a break from Catherine's whiny self doubt. Don't get me wrong, the romance is on point, the drama & the comic relief are wonderful, but Catherine's non-stop, ridiculous habit of analyzing a situation to death was just a major factor for me. I finished book #1 in 2 days but with Beholden, it took me almost 2 weeks! I just had to take breaks from her & then I'd be so curious as to what was happening, that I'd pick up and get thru a chapter at a time. I know lots of girls just like Catherine & so while this is a true reflection of the character of some women, it's annoying to have that in the one person we're all routing for.

These two books were fantastic. I enjoyed them immensely. I laughed and used a whole box of Kleenex for both books. Cat and Jackson's story was filled with everything I love in a story. I will continue reading Corinne Michaels.

Part 2 of Jackson and Catherine...after the ending of last book I immediately picked up this book. So many twists and turns from the beginning involving Jackson and then to the press conference. It was always catching me off guard to what was going to happen. I loved the relationship between Jackson and Mark. They truly acted like brothers.

A must read to finish the Beloved love story. Jackson and Catherine love each other so very much yet like us their lives are complicated and life throws a great deal of heartache their way, some of it caused by not trusting and communicating with each other. Their story can easily be any one of the readers. Revel in the joy they take in loving each other, their heartaches and the solution to making a life of love together. The reader will take a few pearls of wisdom to use in your own love story. Enjoy!!

I really loved this series, fell in love with Jackson myself and got a bit angry with Catherine, she had too many hangups but through it all they managed to work things out. Read both books in two afternoons and look forward to reading more from this author.

Corinne Michaels has done it again! I absolutely loved this book a perfect ending for a great series! This book had everything and more you could ask for in a book hot and steamy, angst and ugly crying all wrapped up in one book. I can not wait for more from Corinne Michaels she is a awesome author and so talented. I absolutely love Jackson he is such an alpha male and so sweet. I highly recommend this book.

Corinne Michaels rips your heart out, stomps on it and then puts it back together again. I fell in love with Catherine and Jackson from the very beginning of Beloved straight through to end of Beholden. You feel their pain and their joy. These books are very well written. Corinne Michaels knows how to connect you to the characters and brings out all emotions while reading. I would definitely recommend this duet.

Get your kleenex!! This sequel to Beloved broke my heart!! Jackson totally steals your heart and you want Catherine and him to be together it hurts. When both parties are so stubborn and scared about being hurt can their chance at happiness even happen? Does Jackson realize too late how much Catherine means to him that he can have her back? Totally worth the read!

Cat and Jackson's love story was definitely worth reading, Beloved and Beholden. I adored the seeing them meet, fall in love, and save each other.

This was the first time I'd read a series like this, with two books to finish the story. It didn't both me at all, because the characters were worth the extra "one-click".

Don't hesitate! You won't be sorry!

Ok I enjoyed the first book! But the second book Beholden is thy most frustrating read ever!!! Who doesn’t want to know and hear the explaination!! Really? So you can write chapter after chapter of Katherine whiney BS!! I’m on chapter 26 and ready to rip her off the page! What a jerk! Argh! Ou can only read so much whine and crap! Done with it! Sorry Corrine....please try again.

The conclusion to Catherine and Jackson's story was breathtaking. My heart was all over the place, I cried and laughed and my heart ached for them. Catherine such a strong character the choices she had to make and to stand on her own were remarkable. Jackson just oh so hot and really Is the perfect man. I adored their story and will miss them greatly.

Loved this book! Jackson & Catherine are perfect for each other. This second book picks up where Beloved ended with Jackson critically injured. Catherine is by his side & refuses to leave. But you know once they are back together, it's way too early in the book for it to last. Sure enough they are torn apart by secrets. But stay with it, they do find their way back to each other & get their HEA! Can't wait to read more from this author. I understand that the next books will feature Mark, Ashton and Natalie.

Five stars is not enough, this is definitely a ten for me. I didn't think anything could be better than Beloved, but boy was I wrong, Corinne you rocked Beholden. I think I went through every emotion reading this book, what a roller coaster ride. Jackson and Catherine are absolutely amazing together. Thank you for writing such a beautiful and amazing story. I am looking forward to the next addition to the series.

I loved reading both books. There were times I wanted to smack both Jackson and Cat in the head and tell them to get their crap together. I love a book that is an emotional roller coaster and these books were just that. I didn't find any boring parts where I have a tendency to start to skim, I couldn't put the books down. I would highly recommend both books in this duet. I will be reading more from this Author in the future.

Jackson and Cats journey had tons of up and downs and while I could have done with less explicit sex scenes, overall the story flowed naturally and I didn't find myself going back even once because I was lost. Love the Epilogue as well because too many stories just drop off and leave me unsatisfactorily hanging. There was great closure to the story. Well written and great story line.

I really don't like Catherine at all, she seemed to be one of those people who lives for drama....she was very immature for a 29 yr old career woman. Most the ways she handles things made me want to hit her, she was soooo irritating! So I liked the writing, the banter was good in this series, and the story moved a little quicker in Beholden.

This had a wonderful story line and made for nice, easy reading. Thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the story so much that I paid for this book after reading the first in the series. I enjoyed the developed characters, personalities, and outlook on life. The angst of growing past hurts, betrayals, loss,and misunderstandings, I found to be well displayed. Loyalty to one another and to a cause seems such a rare trait these days. These displays traits made my heart smile and weep at times. My only complaint; too much graphic, profane language at times. The language took away from the story. Love scenes can be powerful with a well placed extensive vocabulary. Healthy banter amongst friends is entertaining, but again, the language was insulting to the readers intelligence. Thus, only 4 stars.

Great conclusion to Jackson and Catherine's story! I laughed, I cried, I swooned and cried again. Corinne tells a story like none other and captivates you from page one. I promise you'll need your one click finger ready when you read one of her books because you WILL have to buy al of them simply after reading only one page!

Jackson and Catherine keep you following their emotionally, heartwarming, please get it together story. I couldn't help but root for them to find away back to each other. Like all relationships we have to make tough choices and both of them do exactly that. Together or apart? Right or wrong, living with those choices are what they do. Wonderfully written and worth the roller coaster ride we call love.

Wow just wow! This was an amazing journey of love, trust, sacrifice and forgiveness. Jackson Cole is dreamy! Catherine is a strong ,inspiring woman. Jackson and Catherine are perfect together if they could just get out of their own way. I absolutely love this book and what a perfect ending to an awesome series. Make sure to read Beloved and Beholden!

Catherine and Jackson's journey was filled with obstacles during the entire story, but it made for a great read because I did not know how it was going to go either way. I don't like to give spoilers so you have to read this and find out for yourself how their story ends. Do not wait, load this story onto your Kindle and get reading! ;-)

Catherine, has her dream job, in order to keep this job she has to keep silent about the man she loves. Jackson is willing to do anything to keep Catherine including keeping silent about there love. He also keeps silent about other things in his life which causes a rift between them! Will lies , deception and almost death keep them apart?

Such an incredible series! LOVED both Beloved and Beholden and am dying to read more by Corinne! Characters that make you feel as if you know them.... You'll find yourself laughing and crying right along with the story. Loved the sarcasm, the teasing and the beautiful connection between Jackson and Catherine! So wishing it was not over!? ;-)

After the cliffhanger of book one my heart refused to beat until I got answers. This book wasn't nearly as hard on my heart as book one. I got a little teary eyes but I didn't burst into tears. I loved the continuation of the characters and the added twist and turns to the storyline. Corinne Michaels is definitely an author that I will be looking out for after reading beloved and beholden.

Word can not express what I felt after I finished this story. I could guarantee that you will instantly fall in love with every character, especially sexy Jackson Cole and Catherine Pope. They are the true definition of real heart felt love. I cried, laughed, screamed, hurt like it was my own life. Thank you Corrinne for this amazing journey. I do hope to see more of your work especially with Mark and Ashton. Keeping my fingers crossed. ?

Beholden quickly made Corinne Michaels one of my absolute favorite authors. I was laughing, crying, laughing, distraught, MAD. Beholden blew Beloved out of the water. If you haven't read this series somethings wrong! I am so upset that it's over because I ask myself whats next Corinne, what's next??!!

I downloaded a recommended sample, not thinking I would enjoy. But, the story caught me instantly and kept me reading through the second book, only stopping when the family demanded attention.
This is not a typical, cookie-cutter romance with the expected meet-cute, mid-book betrayal, and anticipated make up and resolution.
The characters are flawed, real people with real lives and everyday struggles; as well as out of the ordinary drama that gave me goose bumps and a few crying jags.
I definitely recommend the Duet and can't wait to read more from Corrine Michaels.

Because I didn't think Jackson could get any hotter, of course he does in Beholden. The characters are so amazing and the story so perfect and well written. I don't know what else to say except that I haven't waited for a book release like I did with Beholden in a really long time, and it didn't disappoint. I can't wait to read everything Corinne Michaels writes!!!

Jackson and Catherine's love story was a roller coaster. Catherine jumped the gun and didn't give poor Jackson the time to explain anything and when he did, she again looked stupid! I wish we could have seen a proposal and it didn't just end! I can't wait to read the next book in the series!!

I absolutely love the characters in this series. There is never a dull moment and all my emotions are touched. Really hated to finish reading this book. Definitely will reread on a cool winter's night.

Catherine and Jackson blew me away in this book! The emotion I felt reading this was amazing, it was all over the place. This story is about love, loss, honesty, hard decisions and sacrifices....all things we go through in life. Without giving anything away I can say this is a must read for everyone, but have your tissues ready!
