And this is how Lisa Renee Jones destroyed you.

"This is a group of family and acquaintances, but one other thing superseded all. We are enemies."

Bad Deeds is vicious, unforgiving, ruthless and oh so enthralling. The feels people, THE FEELS. Just like in Damage Control, Bad Deeds has a LOT going on. And when I say a lot, I mean a freaking LOT.

"She is the sunshine that was never supposed to exist in this storm I'm living. A calming breeze in the heat of demand, and still she manages to be fire in my blood."

Between being in bed with a drug cartel and trying to survive the chaos in the Brandon clan, it's clear Shane needs Emily more than ever. She's the one that keeps him sane. And he's the one who has managed to heal her. Funny how they were just an ok couple for me in the first book, and now they're everything.

I literally had chills and goose bumps the entire story and for days after. The twists became gut wrenching... and the enemies kinda became friends. My mind is still processing that ending, trying to understand how the author is going to fix it. No matter what the result, it's a safe bet that I'm gonna be pissed... or not.

Jones' said it was a rough ending? That wasn't rough. That was brutal. You promised me, Shane. You promised me... but I think some promises are meant to be broken.

Bad Deeds is definitely another engrossing addition to Lisa Renee Jone's addictive series. A concoction of love, intrigues, betrayal, and power. With an ambitious plot, this novel shows us a fascinating, yet dark side of some rich families. The ones that will do everything in their power to be Kings. But nothing can ever justify their bad deeds.

**Books in this series should be read in order.**

P.S. I NEED Adrian, Seth, Cody, Nick and yes Derek's story, PLEASE.

We're more than halfway through this series now. Book #3 and we're deep in the belly of the beast. It's like trying to watch a game of chess unfold through a thick fog of deception, while flames are closing in on you from every side. There are so many players in this game, so you really need to concentrate to keep track of them all, especially when some of them make unexpected moves and seem to transform like a chameleon. This book had me questioning everyone's motives. In the end, it all boiled down to a clear picture of where most of the players stood, leaving me hanging with a heart-stopping ending that has me desperate to find out what happens next.

Since this is book three and giving a recounting of plot points would be silly, I'd like to give her praise for a couple of things. If you have read many of her books, like I have, you know by now that her plotting level is pretty much genius. The way the characters and events are intertwined combined with multiple clever and shocking plot twists require you to be fully engaged and alert. Her mental game is strong so you better be prepared to keep up. Of course, to accompany that, is a plentiful amount of passion, heat and chemistry. She leaves you wanting for nothing.

Lisa is known for writing these intense and complex books, so naturally it takes time. There are often many months between books in a series. I read many books in a week, so remembering vivid details of every book I read is impossible. I deeply appreciate that she includes a summary at the beginning of the book to refresh my memory on previous events, so I can start reading the current book with a better memory of what happened.

OMG! I could not put this fantastic story down! This was a fast paced, all consuming, intense fight for control that was addictive, commanding, dangerous and passionate. Bad Deeds continues this dangerous journey that will leave you obsessively turning the page, desperate to devour every brilliantly crafted word looking for the answers to all the secrets.
The intrigue, the passion, and the sex is off the charts but as the danger escalates no one is safe. The players are many, all wanting to take over the Brandon empire. The Martina Cartel is not giving up, and as these dangerous desperate men assert their power, will Shane and Emily’s bond survive? Will their deep connection keep Shane in the light or will the darkness overtake him? As we get a look into Derek and Teresa’s dynamics and finally see a new side to Derek, is he showing us all of his cards? Will Brandon senior find a miraculous cure for his cancer? Will Emily’s new endeavors help Shane save the Brandon Empire?
This was simply perfection, with its’ suspense, betrayal, danger and intrigue, as well as twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Filled with Power, Control and Passion that is erotically intense and consuming. Warning, there is a gut wrenching cliffhanger of an ending! Leaving the reader frustrated and flabbergasted with more questions that will have to wait till the final book in this series. You don’t want to miss this series! Loved it! Get your book now!
Lisa Renee Jones amazing talent shines blindingly bright in this masterpiece of a series and I cannot wait for the final book, End Game.

I've enjoyed reading this with all my senses. The tension, which never relents, grabs you with no limits, not even at the pause of a chapter. I had to read on, I had to find out what Shane's next move was going to be in terms of strategy or hard decisions. I had to find out how Emily would react, counteract, feel, think and solve. It was all really intense as dangers from all sides were walling them in with not much breath left.

This third book in this series shows Emily and Shane in the thick of many families' feuds. His, hers, and that of a fascinating drug lord, Adrian Martina. I was elated with that man, his sister, and how they both interacted with Shane and his brother Derek. The two brothers are at each other's throats looking for blood but also hinting at an impossible truce given the odds against a drug lord intent on conquering their inheritance by dark means.

I loved the interesting and harrowing paths the couple's relationship was taking. They are closer than ever but their mutual instinct to protect each other puts their bond to the test. And the passion is scorching hot!

An incredibly tough chain of events hurt the characters in every way, shoning their strength and wounding their will to no end. I loved every minute of the sharp scenes and the smart plot, and I ended up suffering with that monstruous, yet masterful cliffhanger. I can't believe I have to wait for an unknown date in the future, whenever it comes about, to find out what happens to these characters. Tough, indeed. Bad deeds, indeed.

(I'm happy to share my honest opinion about a book I reviewed on my blog Literaria)

If you read my reads of Damage Control (Dirty Money, #2), then you know I was expecting a lot to happen in Bad Deeds. Well, I can say I was not disappointed. There was so much that happened in Bad Deeds and it was all so good! I really enjoyed getting to know more about Derek and Teresa in this book. We even get a few chapters that are told from their points of view. My heart truly goes out to Teresa and her situation. I've always seen this series advertised as "Sons of Anarchy meets Wall Street" and that comparison has always been lost on me because I've never seen Sons of Anarchy. I can say, however, that this book reminds of the TV show Scandal, just battling for a company instead of a country.

I will warn you, this book ends with a MASSIVE cliffhanger. It's one of the most anxiety filled cliffhangers I've ever seen, to be honest. Thankfully, Endgame has already released and we can find out what happens next, because I must know! I'm so excited to read the conclusion of Shane and Emily's story. This series has quickly become my favorite romantic suspense series!

I voluntarily received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Lisa’s writing has been something I’ve followed since I started reading again & blogging and I find that her work just gets more distinctive and charismatic the more she writes. She has a way of pulling you into her words and not letting go! I am addicted to her writing and always anticipating the next story, next installment of a series, or the next twist she will take in her stories. She has established herself as someone who doesn’t’ fit into one specific genre bubble and I love that about her. She can pull off a romantic story, or a action packed romantic suspense with the same gusto.

In Bad Deeds we pick RIGHT back up with where Damage Control ended. In the middle of a war, Shane and Emily cling to one another for survival. These two just have so much passion between them & such an amazingly sexy dynamic; I think they are at the top of my favorite couples lists of Lisa’s. Despite being confident that I think I know what will happen next, the twists and turns mixed in with the angst delivered in this series, and book in particular, have thrown me for a head spin a few different times. Shane is desperate to save the family name as well as protect Emily at the same time. With feuds brewing and uncertainty ahead, Shane must find a way to survive not only the cartel, but keep from loosing Emily at the same time. This book was very well balanced and had so much angsty and romantic and suspenseful and at times twisty moments that there was never a lull in the story. Lisa kept this one going from cover to cover and left us with such a MAJOR cliffhanger, January can’t get here soon enough!

Bad Deeds is an intense and emotional book in the Dirty Money series. Hard Rules and Damage Control only skimmed the surface of the emotion and suspense levels packed into Bad Deeds. The book is engaging, action packed, and full of twists and turns. I couldn't put the book down.

Shane's character is strong, ruthless when necessary, and still he manages to exude tenderness and affection. The love he and Emily share is passionate, powerful, written with realism. The strength behind Emily is admirable; she truly is a strong character. Emily and Shane compliment each other. Emily illuminates the darkness Shane continues to maneuver through.

Both Shane and Emily are harboring secrets that threaten to tear apart the Brandon family business and may prove to include casualties. When you get into bed with a high end drug cartel it is nearly impossible, as Shane and his brother Derek are finding out, to extricate yourself. With two strong alpha males involved, things may end up sideways.

The threads that Lisa Renee Jones wove within the pages are complex. There are multiple storylines that intersect, some softly and other like a freight train. Suspense, intrigue, and romance are blended into the action-packed third novel in Lisa Renee Jones' exciting Dirty Money series. The cliffhanger ending has me chomping at the bit for book 4.

I am excited to get my hands on the final installment of the series, End Game.

3.5 Stars
Okay, I’m going to admit it. I must be the only one that doesn’t think Bad Deeds (the 3rd installment of the Dirty Money series) is the 5 star book everyone else is giving it. I was madly in love with the first two books in this series, (Hard Rules and Damage Control) due to the quick pace, the hot, hot chemistry between Shane and Emily, and the complicated family dynamics and intricate story line; but well, Bad Deeds just moves too slowly for me. Or maybe it was the lack of hotness in the sex between Shane and Emily; or the constant repetitiveness of what was going on, or the over analyzing of the situation. I’m sorry, it just does! Yes, it begins to explain things. Yes, it shows how solid Shane and Emily have become. Yes, it explains more about the complicated family relationship of the Brandon Family and how the Martina Family is intertwined, but this book took me weeks to get through, when the others took hours.

Now with all of this said, it doesn’t mean I would not have read this book. I’m already hooked on the series and can’t wait for the final installment to come out, End Game. And with the fact that Bad Deeds ends in a cliff hanger (yes, it does), it’s all the more reason to read End Game. So I will join the ranks of everyone who is waiting with heavy sighs and baited breath for book 4, I just might not be salivating as much as everyone else.

I finished this book last night, and usually I will post a review directly after, but in this case, I had no words for the chaotic, heart pounding ride that I experienced. And I'm not even going to try and describe the book, but instead, going to just gush like the fan girl that I am of this author! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE the brilliant Lisa Renee Jones, with her talented writing style, especially as it shone brighter than ever with this highly addictive series. The twists and turns alone are worth more than a 5 star rating, as I'm pretty sure that I dropped loud f-bombs on every page! Bad Deeds has it all, intense suspense, heat factor at fiery flame level, a hero and heroine that are perfect together, and complicated secondaries that round it out! Now that I got all of that out of the way, let's talk about that ending for a minute or two as it shocked the hell out of me! (WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED THERE LISA RENEE JONES?! I read your note at the end, and I still didn't feel better the way you left me hanging!) I know that I put her on my list of authors trying to KILL ME DEAD, but now she has earned herself a new hash tag, she will now be known as a #EVILWHOREQUEEN, and trust me, there's not many that get to that level! So it shouldn't shock anyone reading my dramatic and emotional review, that the next book CANNOT COME OUT QUICKLY ENOUGH, and there's no maybe about it, I WILL be stalking all of her social media until I get it! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

To say this series has completely captivated me is an understatement! While book 1, Hard Rules, had me scratching my head a little, book 2, Damage Control, got that under control and started to suck me in, and then lord have mercy, Bad Deeds comes along and has me totally enthralled and on edge. So many things happened that I never saw coming!

This book was so intense, so passionate, so heart-pounding! Just when you think all the secrets and lies have been exposed, Ms. Jones throws in even more twists to keep us on our toes. I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down! I really love how this story has come together, with Shane and Emily forging a united front in the fight to keep the Brandon empire under family control. With not only his father and brother fighting against him, the Martina cartel is becoming more forceful in their quest to further infilitrate the company, and now there's a new player on the scene set on causing even more havoc. This really is a chess game brought to life!

Bad Deeds is full of twists and turns, surprising revelations, and one heck of a cliffhanger! Lisa Renee Jones sure knows how to get her readers invested in a story, as we're left wanting, no needing, the final chapter in the Brandon family saga. I swear these books are better than any serial drama on television today!

3.75-4 stars. This was another good installment to this sexy, suspenseful series! This is the continuation of Shane and Emily's story. Shane is still trying to save his family business while dealing with some very bad guys. His father and brother are still wild cards and he doesn't know who to trust. Emily is trying to support him and help him in his investigations, while wanting to keep herself and Shane safe. As the danger ramps up, the suspense will keep you guessing. Through it all, the couple grow stronger in their love and are able to withstand the threats that are bearing down on them.

This book started out a little slow. I felt like there was a lot of suspense and drama going on, but not as much romance or relationship development. It started to feel like the story was drug out for drama's sake. But once the story started to pick up, the mystery started to resolve itself nicely. I liked the second half of the book better than the first. I felt like the book could have been edited down some to make the pacing flow better. Also, there is a doozie of a cliffhanger. But overall, I did enjoy it. I loved Shane and Emily together. They are really a great couple and are getting stronger together in every book. Their love is obvious and I can't wait for the final book in the series so they can get their HEA. Overall, I really like the way the story seems to be heading in it's conclusion and I can't wait to see how it all ends!

Errr! I'm so... frustrated right now! I have loved this series and now after reading Bad Deeds, I am beside myself. I LOVE a good story line. Especially one like this that has many different layers to it with well developed characters. What I don't like, is when an author takes such a great story and drags it out so much so that I start to lose interest. (Sadly, it's how I felt about the Bared To You Series). You see, this is where I am struggling with this review. I appreciate this author, but I must be honest. Remember though, this is MY opinion. That being said, I enjoyed Bad Deeds. I did, but I felt that it was more fluff than story this time (I found myself skimming to dialogue). The writing is flawless, and I do love Shane Brandon, but that ending... it left me unsettled. I needed closure. I looked forward to having everything wrapped up with a pretty little epilogue. I am ready to say goodbye to the Brandon's, but yet a new thread has been woven where I fear it is going to lead us in an entirely new direction. There are still so many questions unanswered when it comes to Emily that have not even been touched upon. Gah! I'm so nervous. I'm hesitant to keep reading this series, which truly saddens me, as I loved the first two books. How will it end?! Despite my trepidation, my faith is in Lisa Renee Jones. I think she may just make me eat my words and amend this review. Truthfully, I hope so!

Bad Deeds is the third installment in A Dirty Money series. Hands down this series is packed with deceit, action, and mystery of who to trust. Oh yes, in Lisa fashion, bring on the sexy scenes! I would highly suggest reading the series in order, so if you haven’t read Hard Rules and Damage Control, you need to because Bad Deeds starts from where Damage Control leave’s off.

I love the development with the characters Emily and Shane, as their relationship grows so does their trust. I love that no matter how big of a jerk the Brandon men can be, Emily does not back down and stands up to them with the right kind of sass, which gets her some kind of respect from them all. With the family business still endangered by Adrian Martina (son of a drug cartel king) and Brandon Senior’s health on the line, will Shane be able to keep his family safe? Or is he taking on too much? Will his blood screw him over and get him killed?

This story ends in a cliffhanger… OH the cliffhanger! Let’s talk about the cliffhanger… jaw dropping cliffhanger. I don’t like cliffhangers but this one is downright devious and the best one I’ve read so far this year! I know what book is on my wish list for the New Year!

This series sure knows how to mess with your head....as you read this you are not sure who to believe!

This is the 3rd book in the Dirty Money series and it picks up right where Damage Control left off. Shane Brandon is questioning who Emily Stevens really is. After Seth caught her in an uncompromising position, Shane doesn't know what to think. Emily doesn't want to reveal her true identity so she escapes from Shane but that doesn't last for long....he is quickly able to find her. After the two of them hash things out, they realize they need to be together and they both need to not hold back any more secrets.

As the mess with Medina cartel continues to escalate, Shane is even more at odds with his brother, Derek. All the while, Brandon, Sr seems to be getting worse and worse in regards to his cancer.

Emily starts to realize that Shane's thoughts and actions are starting to get darker and tries to reach through to his better side. Shane explains that he needs to hone his darker side to come out on top. Just when it looks like things are getting worse, Shane comes up with a solution that may help everyone. Too bad he didn't expect the loose cannon that shows up and throws everything into a tailspin. When all hell breaks loose, BOOM....it ends on a huge cliffhanger! I thought the previous book's cliffhanger was bad, but this one takes the case....and I have to wait until January for the next book! Ugh! I am really loving this series!

"Is blood thicker than water?"

"Can love conquer all?"

"Does it really payoff to keep your enemies closer?"

These are just a FEW of the many questions that will be flitting through your mind as you are read this highly addictive series.

What I love most about Dirty Money is how the plot continues to evolve . Particularly how relationships are being rebuilt and all new unexpected ones are forming. There are a few moments where you question the validity of said relationships but this is another beauty of the story. And despite the stress and uncertainty, Shane and Emily relationship develops as well.

Both of the main characters have their own issues but what is so remarkable about them is they always take it upon themselves to remain open and honest. I especially appreciate Emily. There were numerous times where Shane could have fallen but Emily is constantly there beside him pulling him from the brink. This alone proves just how infallible their love is.

And although Bad Deeds does end in another maddening cliffhanger I still would recommend reading it. The doubts, the suspense, the intrigues and the drama which are comparable to a soap opera is what keeps me coming back for more.

I enjoyed this book. The finale - End Game, is definitely one of my most sought after books of early 2018.

‘I keep walking, leading her deeper into the circle of fire that is my family, selfishly needing her in this darkness’

Bad Deeds is the third book in the Dirty Money series, this is not a standalone and you will need to read the first two. Shane and Emily are trying to navigate a very dangerous situation that puts them and Shane’s family in harms way. Coming back to save his family business Shane finds that cleaning up his brother and father’s mess is going to be a lot harder than he could imagine. If feels like they have threats everywhere they turn and you just it will create a lot of suspense. A dangerous cartel moving drugs through their pharmaceutical business, his mother’s infidelity, his father’s cancer and his brother inability to see past his own wants and needs.

Shane and Emily share a bond that allows them the kind of trust that takes most people years to obtain, although I think the trust is needed for the story it makes them less relatable and I find myself doubting their real connection. The chemistry between Share and Emily is still pretty hot but the nice part is you see them start to grow as a couple and move past the insta-love/lust they originally had. I still think there is a lot that will come out about their past and what sort of future they will hold in the fourth book.

Shane’s brother Derek who has been villainized in the past two books and starts to play a bigger role in this book. I think Derek showed the most growth and you start to really feel for him and his relationship with Teresa. While he has seemed pretty destructive so far he has some good reasons why. When he realizes just how much he cares about Teresa he know he has to make some changes to be the man she knows he can be.

This one ends on a pretty big cliff hanger which will make you counting down the days to the 4th and final book of the series. Even though a lot happened in the book I felt like we didn’t make it much further into story line then what was covered in the first two books. With that said there are a lot of details hanging out in the balance right now so I am hoping all of they all get explained in the last book. If you were a fan of the first two books I know you’ll be in the same boat as me needing to see how this series turn out.

Martina is determined to take over Brandon Enterprises, Derek wants to control the same company, Shane's mother has her own priorities, Shane's father seems to take pleasure from putting one son against the other. Enemies abound, but the final betrayal will come from a threat they thought was neutralized. With the biggest cliffhanger yet, Bad Deeds literally finishes up with a bang!

That cliffy about killed me!!

The relationship between Shane and Emily keeps solidifying and getting stronger here in Bad Deeds. There's more drama, more intrigue, more action, more steam, more everything. This is definitely my favorite installment of this series so far.

I like that one of the characters does some serious growth and changes my opinion, a little, of them. It's not something I expected and took me by surprise. I'm wondering if they will get their own story.

Shane is still fighting to take his family's empire onto the right side of the law, and it's taking its toll on him. That dark side that he was fighting so hard in Damage Control is making more and more appearances and Emily is starting to wonder if it will take control of him. After the batshit crazy ending of Bad Deeds I'm having to wonder, too. If it does, though, it will most certainly be the end of not just Shane, but of Shane and Emily.

I'm pretty mad at Lisa that I have to wait until January, yes, JANUARY!!! to see what happens to Emily and Shane and how everything will play out. I'll be a serious wreck by then. Perhaps she'll cut us a break and release it earlier? Pretty please with sugar and cherries on top?!?

Gah! That ending!!! This series has had me on edge. I can not wait for the next book. That ending was a huge cliffhanger and I need the book now!

I'm loving this series. There is so much going on, so many enemies and yet some may not be enemies. I'm trying to figure out who is playing who. Not only do we have Shane's insane family all pitting against each other but then we got the involvement of the mob.

I'm fascinated with how Shane is trying to work every angle to clean up the company while staying true to himself. Then we still have to deal with Emily's past that is going to come back to haunt her at any moment.

With as much that's going on in this series, the relationship between Shane and Emily is very much front and center in this story. I love how much we get to see these two work together against all the obstacles in their paths.

The more that Adrian Martina is involved, the more I'm intrigued by him. I really hope he gets his own book. And lets not forget about Seth, Nick and Cody. They are all so intriguing that I want more!

Lisa Renee Jones has outdone herself with this series. I love how she makes a bad boy good! I need End Game in my greedy little hands ASAP!

Bad Deeds is the third installment in the Dirty Money series by Lisa Renee Jones, a big favorite of mine. Though cliffhangers, as most of you all know, are a rather dirty word as far as I’m concerned. I really do hate them for the most part, especially when I have to wait for what it seems like forever to find out what happens next. Bad deeds does, unfortunately, end in a whopper of a cliffie. Book four, End Game, will be out in January. (Can I scream now?)

If you haven’t read Hard Rules or Damage Control, the first two books of the series, you should just stop and go back and read those first. If you simply can’t, (say a mafia boss is holding a gun to your head) then Ms. Jones does a great job of giving you a catch-up at the beginning of the book along with a cast of players with their bios and what part they play. That said, this book picks up right where Damage Control left off. Shane is still working to get the family business from dealing with Adrian Martina and the Cartel. Emily...still has her secrets.

There’s so much going on in this book, and in typical LRJ style, she drops enough bombs it leaves you wanting more! I’m certainly not going to divulge anything here, it’s best to read for yourself. Now, I wait impatiently for End Game.

Where to start... Oh where to start...

First off, this is a cliffhanger and not a minor cliffhanger. If that isn't your thing than wait for the next book to come out. But definitely read this series.

The characters in this series have slowly grown to become so much better. The first in the series made me like them, the third made me respect them, and the third made me want to propose. The characters have all shown great growth and I really like the fact that there are so many three dimensional characters. I love that everything is so complex in this story.

I typically hate mysteries but this romance/suspense kept me engaged and questioning the whole time which is not normal. The story is extremely complex and it keeps you guessing the entire time.

I want to rate this book 1 star for the ending that is making me want to scream out into the abyss (I am kidding). I had such a strong reaction, that it makes me love this book. It just shows how invested in this series I am.

Ultimately, this is a great series that anyone who enjoys romantic suspense will love. Seriously, just pick up the books. You can thank me later.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

The Dirty Money saga is back and more deadly than ever…with a twist at the end that will blow you away. It will push your pulse rate past the danger zone! The stakes are higher and the action has never been hotter. This is LRJ at her best.
Shane Brandon is lured into dealing with the devil himself Adrian Martina, the leader of the US side of the Mexican cartel’s operation. He faces his deadliest adversary yet – Ramon, the sadistic enforcer and head of Martina’s security. Finally he has the support of his brother Derek as an ally, Shane races to rescue the only woman who sets his heart ablaze, Emily. Plus he needs to stop Ramon and Adrian from eliminating their next threat – his brother Derek.
You will be drawn into Shane’s troubled world and cheering for him to beat the odds and save his girl. I continue to love this story and the characters. It’s an adventure with a plot to leave you craving for the next book. Exploding with breaktaking excitement and thrilling plot twists this book delivers!!!

Lisa Renee Jones definitely turned up the intensity for this installment of the Dirty Money series. Each quiet moment slowly lulled me into a sense of contentment when I should have been preparing for the other shoe to drop. And let me tell you... LRJ drops MANY shoes!! The cartel has brought the heat, the family has somehow come together, and Shane and Emily are stronger than ever.

I'm going to keep this brief to avoid spoiling it for anyone, however, I did want to share 'a few of my favorite things':
➥ these two counting I love yous
➥ everything to do with Shane, such as his charm, his determination, his integrity, his morals, his heart, and the way he just exudes sexiness
➥ Cody and Jessica ~ will they get a story?
➥ the opportunity to get to see Derek in a different light. Who knew that I'd end up sympathizing with this man???

It seems that I'm always the fool when it comes to cliffhangers and so the end of this book came as quite the surprise for me. Get ready for a doozy and cross your fingers that End Game comes out ASAP!!

Five Fabulous Stars! This is the third book in the Dirty Money Series and should be read in order to fully understanding the story. The book continues Shane and Emily's story from where we left off in the previous book. Shane is a smart, sexy, protective business man. Shane is working to get his family's business away from having to deal with the cartel. Emily is a beautiful, smart, fierce young lady. Emily still has secrets but she is also worried about Shane trying to save his family business and if this will change him. Who can Shane trust besides Emily? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and series! The author writes a well-written story that is full of suspense, mystery, romance danger, and plenty of twists and turns. Shane and Emily had chemistry that was through the roof. I was captured from the first few pages and found that I could not put the book down until I finished. The story does end on a cliffhanger which will leave you anxious to get your hands on the nextbook. I highly recommend this book!

I’ve really enjoyed each book in this series, Bad Deeds included. I like Brandon and Emily. They’re smart, really smart, and trying so hard to live dignified lives despite the unsavory characters around them. Sadly, many of the evil, amoral people they must deal with are family making remaining above the taint that much harder.

It was interesting to watch some of the personal dynamics change in this book. Brandon’s mom and brother were both explored further and their courses of action altered. The change between Brandon and Derek was especially interesting. The stress level remained high as Brandon works hard trying to figure out a way to save his company and keep everyone alive.

Jones has done a really good job of creating danger, action, relationships and characters that are clever, believable and highly entertaining. I did get a bit tired of Brandon and Emily having sex in every possible way and place. This has happened to me before in other series. I guess I just have a threshold for one couple.

Jones did not leave me happy with the book’s huge cliffhanger! I didn’t realize there is another book in the series so I had no idea she wasn’t going to tie everything up. Now, I’m impatiently awaiting the next book

The third installment of the Dirty Money series has been the best one yet! I was riveted to the page, watching all the chess pieces move in this very dangerous and deceitful game with very real consequences.

Shane Brandon continues to be the hero we love, and Emily is the level-headed and caring heroine. Throughout the novel, readers get to see these two become stronger together, and it seems the more difficult the world becomes the closer they unite.

The surprising character for me during this book is Derek. He has been this two dimensional antagonist throughout the entire novel. In Bad Deeds, though, readers get to see incredible depth to his character, and his evolution had me loving him.

The plot of Bad Deeds is what makes this book so good. It is heavy on the suspense, and, while it has its steamy moments, the romance is minimal. This doesn't mean there isn't romance. There is, just not in the typical fashion. The ending is what really have readers screaming and making them crave the final book in the series.

I'm loving this series from Lisa Renee Jones. It is a well crafted web of intricate and varied plot lines, and the characters and their stories have consumed me.

GAH!! The cliffhang-ing torture! What can I say about book three in the Dirty Money series? Lisa Renee Jones has managed to capture me hostage in this sticky web of intrigue and deceit. It's a dark, alluring, sexy story that keeps getting better and better with each book. Unlike with book two, which focused more on Emily's problems, this one has the reader trying to untangle the Brandon family from the Martina cartel. But of course, LRJ still keeps the intensity high and the sex hot! I've mentioned before that I love the relationship between Shane and Emily and that hasn't changed. These two strong characters bring out the best in each other. But what I haven't said yet was how much I adore the secondary characters. Yes, even all the "evil" members of the Brandon family! It helps that we get a few chapters with Derek's and Teresa's POV which gives us a chance to connect better with these important players. This story is brilliantly written, layered with secret maneuvers and the strength of love. It's a series that's definitely making space on my READ AGAIN E-SHELF! Told from dual POVs with a nail biting, "OH MY GAWD" cliffhanger. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Holy mother of all books. This story was awesome! I didn't like the cliffhanger at the end, not at all! But the way this story twisted and turned in ways I never saw coming kept me hungry for more and more story.

Lisa Renee Jones writes characters that you think you know and understand and just when you do, they do something that makes you question their reasons or their loyalty. I love it. Shane and Emily work hard in this book to fix the mess Derek left for them but as the story progresses that clean up is harder and harder to do considering the many layers in the mess.

The passion between Emily and Shane is beautiful as Shane struggles to learn to trust, love and count on someone else. Emily too. Their struggle is very real while Shane tries to be the son he knows he needs to be while keeping the good person he wants to be for Emily in the forefront.

I love the character of Jessica. She sound like a fun person. Her addition to the story is a fun side character that I'd love to see developed into a story of her own. And Cody? Yep, a perfect friend for Jessica..

I can't waif or the next book to come out. Lisa Renee Jones has done this twice to me now. I need the next book ASAP. Please?

>Book review – Bad Deeds
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd in the Dirty Money series and ends in a storyline cliffhanger. The plot in this story is exhausting. Shane and Emily have some serious plans to get out from under the Mexican drug cartel that Shane’s brother, Derek, has led them to. The family dynamic really comes in to play, as Shane and Emily try to be functional inside of the dysfunction of his family. Derek’s personality seems to come through a bit and he seems more human and likable.
>There are threats to everything and everyone, as the elder Brandon tries a last ditch effort to cure his cancer. The book could get bogged down in plot lines, but Jessica, Shane’s secretary is a bright spot in the book. Jessica provides some much needed humor in the otherwise adrenaline packed story.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this story 5 stars.

When I initially signed up for this book, I thought it would be the conclusion to the Dirty Money series, but I was fooled. But I can't blame Lisa Renee Jones for not stopping the story in this installment because, even though the puzzle pieces are coming together, pieces are still missing and questions are still unanswered. I hope you have been reading this series because if you haven't this review will either confuse you or intrigue you enough to start the series from the beginning. Luckily for you, I am not a spoil sport and didn't ruin ongoing series?.
Shane Brandon is still trying to extract the family business, Brandon Enterprises, from the control of the Martina cartel. In the process, his relationship with Emily Stevens grows stronger and she becomes the support he needs to navigate this dangerous situation with dangerous people who are willing to do anything to keep things in the dark.
Unfortunately, this does end in a cliffhanger and you will have to wait until January for The End Game (which I hope will be the end, but we are talking about Lisa Renee Jones?).

ARHHH. I knew this was a cliffhanger going in and so I put it off hoping that I would have book 4 in my hands, but it was haunting me…..seeing it there on my kindle…..and now I have 5 months till End Game comes out….. That is cruel and unusual punishment! She even tries to apologize for leaving us on the cliff….evil, so evil! But even so, I still loved it!

I am in love with Emily and Shane’s story to save the Brandon family name and company from attacks from his brother, Derek and other outside forces. I love how strong Shane is and how Emily is perfect for him. There is an underlying element of Emily’s past which is still unknown. Tidbits are tossed out here and there, but there are so many twists and turns it was amazing! I don’t want to spoil it, but I do want to mention that I love the recap she adds at the beginning to catch us up….without it I would be so lost.

Bad Deeds is a great continuation to the Dirty Money Series, and once again I was hooked from the very first chapter. I have found this review a little hard to write as I don't want to give to much away so I'll keep it short.

Shane and Emily are back and Shane is showing more of his darker side in this one.
He's still determined to protect Emily but at what cost and how do you fight for your family when fighting against your family?

This is a fast paced story and it has lots going on, some expected and some very unexpected then just when you think you're back on an even keel Lisa Renee Jones goes and leaves you completely hanging with an ending to leave you in a total spin.

I need book 4 Now!!!

I would highly recommend this series to anyone that loves some suspense with their romance you definitely won't be disappointed but these books must be read in order:
Hard Rule #1
Damage Control #2
Bad Deeds #3

I was really looking forward to Bad Deeds! I love the way that Lisa Renee Jones has weaved this series. There was plenty of suspense and though we're left with even more questions, we did get quite a few answers to others. Admittedly, the beginning started off a bit too slow for me. I even had a hard time feeling the connection between Shane and Emily which made me question whether I'd end up enjoying this installment of this series. The pacing did eventually get better but I feel like it picked up the most towards the end. I do however love the twist and turns of this book. Lisa Renee Jones definitely put the emphasis on keeping your friends close and your enemies closer in Bad Deeds. Characters that I didn't expect to come together were able to unite for a common cause. Bonds were made that I don't see being easily broken. We got to see a new side to not only Shane and Emily but to supporting characters as well. Bad Deeds does end in quite the cliffhanger that tells me that the next book in this series is going to take us on a wild ride. I can't wait to read the next installment!

Wow, just Wow. Bad Deeds left me breath- and speechless.

Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones is the third book in the Dirty Money Series and is not a stand alone.
I recommend to read Hard Rules and Damage Control first.
Bad Deeds picks up where Damage Control ends.
Emily and Shane are a couple. Emily is Brandon sen. secretary. And Derek, Shane's older brother threatens Emily. He accomplished to meddle with a dangerous cartel and endangered the whole family. Now Shane has to pick up the pieces and try to make things right.
When you liked the first two books, you're gonna love this third.
There's more of everything. More drama, more danger, more violence and more feelings, both good and bad.
I love this series so much, I can't say how much. I love the writing and I love the words. I love the characters- I could feel their emotions in the words.

I recommend this book, give 5 Stars and can't wait 'll the next book in the series releases. Thank you Lisa Renee Jones.

Once again, Lisa Renee Jones blows me away with the complexity of her suspense love stories. I love how she gives the details needed to keep you guessing but not enough to give anything away until just the right time.

Picking up where Damage Control left off (with one whammy of a cliffhanger I might add) and as we follow the story of the Brandon family and Emily, Shane's love interest. Emotions run high as games continue to be played, people continue to get hurt, and trust is tried over and over again.

We learn whose side the players are on and the lengths one person will go to in order to protect what he thinks is his...

And there's one last thing. Another cliffhanger...and this time, we truly have NO IDEA what's going to happen next. Not even Jones knows...oh boy, I have a feeling we are in for one wild ride.

This book starts off right where Damage Control ends. This is definitely the best book in the series so far! This book was very intense with what others have been calling a cat and mouse game. Is Adrian playing Shane? Or is it the other way around? This book brings new revelations in the Brandon family, new alliances which still have an element of mistrust in them. But we also see Shane and Emilys relationship grow and get stronger. I went into this book thinking it was the last one in this series, but it is not, and it ends with a gut-wrenching cliffhanger that we have to wait months to see the outcome. (And it just might take me that long to recover!) This serirs is a MUST READ if you are a LRJ fan, or if your not you will definitely become one! Bad Deeds is sexy, fast paced, and intense! Shane and Emily are continuing to get closer and test the bounds of their trust in each other and their relationship. Lisa Renee Jones picks up the action from the end of Damage Control (#2) and pushes the key players into new, challenging situations while testing their desire to win in an ever-evolving and dangerous game of control over Brandon Enterprises. The brothers, Shane and Derek, are continuously pushed to compete for the CEO role while dealing with the betrayals and manipulations of others. Lisa Renee Jones provides compelling suspense and plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. The Dirty Money series should definitely be read in order. Bad Deeds ends on quite a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see how this one ends!

Bad Deeds, book 3 in the Dirty Money series, picks up right where Damage Control ends. The intensity definitely gets turned up in this installment. It’s a fast-paced, suspenseful page turner. Emily and Shane continue to grow their relationship with their love strengthening them as a couple and individuals. Shane is all kinds of hot and Emily all kinds of sweetness and sass. The family dynamic continues to change and add to the story. New perspectives from Derek and Teresa give more insight and how they fit into the game that’s being played. Cody (Emily’s bodyguard) and Jessica (Shane’s assistant) turn up a little heat too. You get lulled into a sense of security and safety for Emily and Shane and the other characters and then it’s snatched right from under you with a cliffhanger that wasn’t expected. Come on End Game!

In this book Shane has to get tough to save the Brandon Industries from the Martina Cartel. It’s great to see how deep the relationship is between Shane and Emily with her secrets out in the open.
To anyone following the series all I can is “O my God this is a must read.” If you are not following The Hard Rules Series I can’t recommend it enough.

Why? Why? Why? I am screaming and almost threw my device against the wall right now. LRJ, why would you give us an ending like this? Then we have to wait till 2018? Well, that just gives me the excuse to make some demands of my own. Absolutely Derek must not die, Cody either!!!!! I mean it. Okay, now am begging. Please.

To my fellow readers, please don't let the dreaded cliff hanger prevent you from reading this series. It is addictive, and scrumptious. There is not enough words to express my opinions. There is danger at every corner, and intrigue. Every character in this book is playing Russian roulette with death. Yet, there is hope and love. Don't let's forget the sex, plenty of that variety between Emily and Shane.

I have no idea how to review this without spoilers. I am not even sure it is possible, as honestly this is so intricate and detailed that I am afraid that I will accidentally refer to something in a previous book that actually happened in this one.

Shane and Emily pick up in this book exactly where they left off in the previous one. And, well, how in the world am I supposed to review this book?

I enjoyed it. A lot. There were a couple of places where I thought the book went over the events too quickly, but overall the pacing was strong, the characters were, as always, maybe not likeable but enjoyable.

And, then.

WHAM

That.

Cliffhanger.

Jones is both brutal and brilliant. This series has been a slow burn and Bad Deeds really kicked things into gear. So much tension and intrigue. The feeling of danger and unease increasing to a palpable level. A million questions and very few answers. As usual, Jones leaves us teetering at the edge of a cliff. This time, I'm really nervous for what's to come. I have a feeling things aren't going to turn out the way I hope they will, but that feeling just makes me even more excited for End Game. I just finished reading mere minutes ago and my heart is still in my throat and tears are in my eyes. There are aspects I pretty much figured would happen but it didn't make the shock any less impactful. I don't know how I'm going to deal with the wait!

OMG what a cliffhanger this book has!!!! If you haven't already, you have to go and read the first 2 books of this series.

You will fall in love with the characters, and hate some...lol. Shane and Emily's story continues just as #2 left of. With this book we get to know more secrets of Shane's family. Shane and Emily form more of a united front against their enemies. Derek finally finds himself and Brandon senior is still the bossy, angry man that has always been with the exception of his cancer, which he is gonna go on a trial to treat it.
I have to admit that I am going to hate having to wait on the next book, because that cliffhanger at the end left me yelling at my kindle...lol

This was another great read to a fantastic series. This series must be read in order because every book ends with a cliffhanger including this one and if you don't read the books in order you will miss a lot. Everyone is still fighting for control, but the players in this game realize that sometimes in order to get what you want, you must make your enemies your allies. Blood is thicker than water no matter how much you try to fight what binds you together; family will always be family. No worries though because new enemies are around the corner trying to take what you have and what they want at any and all costs. This is a great series full of suspense, romance and twists and turns I can't wait to see what happens next.

This book begins with the author doing a recap of Damage Control and thank goodness she did! It's been a while and I read so many books I had forgotten what happened. She also gave a description of each character in this story.

Bad Deeds hit the ground running. Shane is trying to clean up his dysfunctional family mess and Emily is at his side to keep him from destroying himself in the process.

I found that I had to concentrate on what I was reading or easily got lost. I, also don't remember what happened in book 1, so that may have also contributed to my confusion. It was a good story and I did enjoy it. I would have to rate it a 3.5.
