This is the same story, different plot as her other books. It is unbelievably frustrating the way this is written, and honestly will not read any more of her books. Always some dramatic part of the story that is that looks like everything is ending only to have the day saved. While I know it is a way for her to get more book sales in, it is a pain the way the story is constantly drug out. Just when you think the end is near, there is another near catastrophe that requires some extreme act to save the day...

Another exciting read on the adventures of Kyra, Merk, Alex and the Warriors of Escalon. A definite page turner. I couldn't put it down wanting to find out what's happening next. My only disappointment was in the editing of these books. A lot of typos and words missing that you had to fill in to finish the sentence. Someone cities and character names were spelled differently in the next chapter. Otherwise a great story and am anxiously waiting for book #4 due out in October.

I love this series. Morgan does a wonderful job and has both male and female characters that resonate with you. This whole series was wonderful and each book stood alone as well. If you enjoy fantasy with its plot lines and exciting battles, this is for you

Honour and a family dispersed over the kingdom. All facing huge obstacles in an effort to reunite not only as a family, but to hold together a nation cowed by tyrannical invaders. The fascinating and horrific story continues.

I enjoyed the entire series, the story line keeps you engaged. However, there are way too many type-o's including the wrong person's name listed in a sentence periodically. the editor needs to do a better job of correcting errors.

Engaging. Exciting. Following characters that ultimately meet an unexpected end leaves one wondering what next. What new adventures await the reader in this ever evolving world of magic and fantasy.....

I was so enthralled with the book. I found myself entwined with the characters and their lives that it sent me through so many range of emotions. I had to put the book down several times to continue the book but it was absolutely riveting.

After the third book you would think Kyra would learn her lesson and stay on task. Ms. Rice continues to allow the character to make poor decisions then miraculously get saved. Then again Krya is a teenager. Do think I will be buying the next book.

The book “The Weight of Honor” is the third book in the “Kings and Sorcerers” series. The easy and light writing style will hook you up from the very first page.
In this book we continue to follow our heroine Kyra, a 15 year old girl, who loves to fight like a warrior. She reaches the Tower of Ur and initiates her training, soon realizing that she has more power than she has control over it. And while on training she meets a mysterious boy...
Her father Duncan launches an attack into the capital of Escalon, trying to release the city from the grasps of the Pandesian army.
Other parallel stories are told. Alec and his friend Mark are in Ur, trying to aid the resistance against the Pandesian invasion. And Alec meets Dierdre, that was Kyra's companion during her journey to the Tower of Ur.
Vesuvius leads his army of trolls against Escalon.
Theos is trying to burn all Escalon in search of his son.
Merk reaches and enters the Tower of Ur, just to get mesmerized by what he found inside.
Packed with excitement, I recommend this book to the permanent library of all readers that love to read a well written book, which will allow them to live a fantasy full of action. I can hardly wait to see how the story will develop from here and how our three heroes will have their fate entangled. The author managed again to produce a strong set of characters that make us cheer for them on every page we turn.
