The publication of this book, was muchly anticipated by myself, as having
read all of David Dalglish's, I wanted more. I wasn't disappointed.
You could just tell, the way the previous book in this series, that things
would not be as simple as everyone now living peacefully. And in this
book things are far from simple.
As one of the previous reviewers, stated, David Dalglish's writing and
story telling just keeps getting better and better. I never want
the book to end, as I know I will want more. I wont spoil the ending
for you, but the next, well I hope there will be another Half Orc book will
be fantastic.
Even though it had been a while since the last book in the series, you
still know the characters well and this is because, David is able to
weave his other series of books and their stories altogether effortlessly,
or so it seems.
All I can say is keep up the brilliant writing David, to me you are
up with the best fantasy fiction writers.

First off, I have read every single offering from this author. This book is definitely ome of the best. Dalglish has taken all of his experience that he gained writing his other stories and combined it all here to make an amazing continuation of the half orc saga. Its definitely worth the read and the money if you are into fantasy of this genre.

Fantastic series! Each book has been great, very hard to put down. Always trying to guess what will happen next. I even found at times i wanted to stop reading because i was worried what was going to happen. Love it just love it!!!!

The while book was good, but it was not interesting for a good part of it. In some ways they he should have ended it after the last book. It was like kicking the hero after he was all beaten and almost destroyed but won by the hair on his balls . Kinda depressing

After reading all the previous half Orc and paladin books I was massively dissapointed with the is one, the whole story from begging to end is full of doom and gloom I don't want to spoil the plot for others or put them off to much from reading this because the previous books are excellent which is what compelled me to read this one. I'm not sure the what was meant to come across in this book but it left me with a feeling the heroes in the story faced utter defeat which isn't a great way to finish a book.
Hopefully the next one in the series will make up for it!!!!!

OMG this book was f-ing amazing! Normally that would be sufficient but the store requires 20 or more words so I might as well expand on it a little. If you have read the first 5 books then you know what I mean; if not, climb out from under that rock you are living under and get them before we are all pushed over the fiscal cliff and the economy tanks! Seriously, this was an amazing book that I look forward to reading again someday. You will not be disappointed.
