RIVETING!! UNIQUE!! I love all of the books written by this husband and wife team, however, The Legacy series is particularly excellent. My only wish is that they would write faster. I guess that they heard my plea. After the loooong wait for White Hot, there are only 55 days until Wildfire comes out !!!! I re-read all the previous books in each series when a new book comes out. They still engage and entertain after multiple readings! Treat yourself to one, or all, of their excellent series. Imagination, action, mystery, romance, the human connection. . .it is there in all of their books!

I really enjoyed Nevada's character: she's brave, loyal, intelligent, creative, strong and emotionally mature. She doesn't make rash decisions and owns up to her faults. She's quietly witty with her internal dialogue. The more I think about it, the more I realize Nevada is probably my favorite book heroine.

Mad is also interesting. He's not charming. A hurricane doesn't make you feel safe and warm, it simultaneously fills you with an awesome thrill and absolute terror. He's pure alpha. His intensity rolls off the page. What I found unique in their interactions is that Mad tries to bend her to his will in nearly every way possible (force, bribery, trickery, seduction, etc.) but she is able to hold her own, which is rare in a female lead. I really enjoyed their interactions as some were unexpectedly funny. The writers had little gems of dialogue that were hilarious.

Nevada's reasons for resisting Mad's advances are actually extremely good in my opinion as he can come across as a true psychopath. Nevada is a family-oriented, moral, and compassionate person - all qualities Mad appears to lack. The book doesn't end with a HEA, but rather with a battle of wills. She's in Mad's laser scope and he's not losing sight of her! Can't wait for the next two books!

I absolutely LOVED this book. This book was recommended to me and I had no idea what the story was about. I am 100% hooked and I have to find out where this series will go. I love how Nevada sticks to her morals and refuses to let anyone or any amount of money sway her from her beliefs. She does what has to be done and what is right. I think Rogan is a bit misunderstood. Yes, he believes that he is powerful and rich enough to have whatever he wants but I think he also believes that he is helping people in his own twisted way. Can not wait to see what happens between these 2.

The artistry and power of this tale has been nurtured by the careers that led to its' telling. The duo who make up Ilona Andrews know duty, love, self doubt, self confidence and the realms between. They have gifted us with the battered truth. The truth many refuse to see.

Afte reading this I can do nothing but thank them. They found the path of the greatest of storytellers. They dressed the truth in a tale we can swallow a bit at a time. The narcissist, the egotist will not understand, why this tale is vital, alive.

The self indulgent, the greedy, the power hungry will be at a loss to comprehend this cautionary novel. Noblesse Oblige makes no sense to them and that is the critical flaw in how they live. Ilona Andrews understands and has the ability to teach those who are willing to hear. Might never makes right, might only serves right.

Thank you Ilona Andrews. Your gift is haunting, powerful and addictive. I look forward to buying, reading and sharing every tale, every lesson, every heart stopping moment I spend in your worlds.

Wow. I started this book and could barely stand to put it down. I quickly moved on to books 2 and 3 when I was done. I loved the characters and the world. I liked the explaination for the presence of magic in the world and the subtleties of how the world is the same and different from ours. Consistent writing and personalities. I could see similarities between this and the Kate Daniels series (especially in Rogan vs Curran), but it's very much it's own world and characters. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

This series is AMAZING. I have been flying through this series after reading this one and I've started the author's other series, the Innkeeper Chronicles. The writing, character building, and world building is incredible. On top of that the female lead characters are strong, badass, compassionate, and ridiculously clever and intelligent. Every book I have read by these authors so far has been top notch.
I love the characters in this first book. I love the dynamic between them and the other characters in the book. It's so so good.

Fans of Kate Daniels will fall in love with Ilona Andrews' new series Hidden Legacy. Familiar enough to be comforting (a strong willed woman, a powerful beast of a man) but different enough to be unique (Houston vs Atlanta, Nevada's strength isn't in combat like Kate but her will and devotion to family, Magic being 100% a part of the world integrated with Tech not divorced from, and more). This reads like more of Super Hero story (a la Xmen) than a Fantasy, but without the pulp dialogue. Rich and ethnically diverse characters with passion dominate.

Can't wait for the next

I love Ilona Andrews' Magic series. I love Ilona Andrews' Inkeepper series. I really like Burn for Me and I think it has potential as a series. However, Avon did the Andrews a terrible disservice with their editing. How can a (supposedly) professional publisher allow multiple errors in syntax, punctuation and spelling make it into the final edition? I purchased the Kindle edition and now I'm curious as to whether or not the same errors exist in the print version. If so, shame on Avon. If not, double shame on Avon for making Kindle editions the bastard child. I'll follow up with the next in the series. I'm hoping the Andrews will add more humor in the next installment and tone down the "I'm stronger so I can force you to love me" aspect of it. And I'm really, really hoping Avon will step up their game and do justice to great authors.

I loved everything about this book. From the first paragraph, I was hooked. From there it just got better and better. The premise, this strangely similar world that is somehow completely different. It is completely unique and separate from the other worlds created by Ilona Andrews but still maintains the best characteristics that are always present in such worlds. The character descriptions are so intricate and detailed that you really know them, but spread out to avoid to much information at once. I love Nevada! She is consistent and reliable but still relatable and entertaining. However, Rogan is my favorite character I think. There is an unexpected aspect to him. We just can never quite figure him out. The epilogue only enhances this. We have created a whole image and idea of him throughout the novel and in a couple of pages it all comes into question.
I have a feeling this series will be more like the Kate Daniels series than the Edge series. There are ups and down to that but I think it fits these characters. I'm so excited for the next installment.

Awesome read! Great writing and story. The characters and their interactions are very believable and natural. And Mad Rowan and Nevada..... wow. Tension galore. Nevada is strong and a little stubborn without being infuriatingly so. A bit smart-assy and stubborn which leads to some funny moments and dialogue. I've started series before by authors I've never heard of which were loaded with amazing reviews but didn't deliver. But this did not disappoint at all. Can't wait to read the rest of the series and their previous books!

I have loved everything Ilona and Gordon Andrews have published. That being said, I am not a push-over. I have come to expect (and not only expect but demand) the total immersion and suspension of reality I have found in their novels. They are well written and engaging to the imagination and stimulating to the discerning palate. This latest novel is no different. They dumped us into a slightly different version of our world in Houston, TX. Then introduced us to a likeable and lively protagonist and her family. Rogan was not immediately introduced and is not easy to get to know but he steadily wreaks havoc tearing down your resistence to liking him. He has a mission and has not quite left his military mindset behind. He is a fascinating character (if I could just stop putting a extra "i" and "e" in his last name every time I see it written.) I love Nevada's continuing comparisons between him and dragons... it was hilariously dead on. I can't wait for the second one... I always say that...

I absolutely LOVE Nevada! She is the kick ass sort of character I like, without being overly confident in herself. She is stuck in a situation she knows she is in over her head with, but sticks her neck out there and will do her best to overcome.

Then we have Mad Rogan. His attitude is a great match for Nevada. It drives her crazy and just makes for the best confrontations. Nevada is desperately trying to fight her attraction to Rogan and their interactions are so much fun.

Nevada’s mission, which ends up being the same thing Rogan is looking for involves great magical powers, and a lot of excitement in trying to stop the perpetrator and clear Rogan’s nephew’s name. There are some great action scenes that just end up bringing Nevada & Rogan closer together.

I don’t want to say too much about the ending, but it was a big surprise and I am so excited to see where it goes from here.

The idea is that there are magical families who through careful selection of mates and careful breeding, have children in whom the magic is stronger. The stronger the magic, the more status and wealth one has and the more influence in the mundane world.

This is the first of three books so far and I am signing onto the authors' mailing list to find out when/if there will be a fourth because I feel there really has to be a fourth and I wanna read it.

This book was so awesome that I'm already depressed the series will only be a trilogy and with one down there is only two more to go. The main characters, Rogan and Nevada, are perfect. The inner dialogue of Nevada will make you laugh out loud. Rogan will make you wish timeouts were appropriate for adults one minute, and have you melting the next. The dynamic between the two is something you can almost feel and see in your head, while reading. These authors are excellent in everything they write, but this short series is brilliant. The world, the plot, the storyline that opens up for future adventures, it's all good. Nevada's family will have you wishing they were yours. All the characters are unique and interesting. The action is intense. You will be clenching your jaw until it hurts. The storyline is very unpredictable. You will love it.

4 1/2 stars

Ilona Andrews has managed to create another interesting magical world. People have magic, but everyone has varying levels of powers. The most powerful families are rich and have family Houses much like something in Romeo and Juliet.

Of course Nevada is a nobody, but she has a rare power that she keeps hidden. She was forced to take a case that impossible for her to do. While trying to bring in her target, she has an unfortunate encounter with Mad Rogan. For her to get the job done, working with him is a necessary evil. Rogan is charming and has sex appeal in spades, but he's a bit of sociopath.

Based on the cover and the blurb, I thought this was going to be a standard PNR, but it wasn't. This had a slow building type of romance although there was some insta attraction. This felt more like UF. It had a strong storyline that still would have made a good book even without the romance subplot.

Buy this book! My sole complaint is the length of time we appear to have to wait for the next installment. According to the store, Burn for Me came out in October 2014, but the store says the next book, White Hot, will be available in October 2018; but they seem confused, and one can't pre-order it. The authors' website says Burn for Me was re-released in March 2017, and that White Hot will be released in June 2017.

The good news, by then I can re-read Burn for Me and enjoy it again.

As usual with Ilona Andrews, the books are well written and fast-paced, the world detailed and sufficiently credible. Strongly recommended.

I almost felt like I was entering a revisionist Eve Dallas story with this one; our heroine has solid titanium core values and a fun, quirkey family we can get invested in, our hero is a bad boy with a quite lovely hidden interior and an ability to recognize people of value and incorporate them to everyone's benefit. The humor is snarkey, and the conversations flow believably. The main characters kick ass and take names, including Grandma and a very admirable teenage nephew. It takes our main male character not very long to realize that the woman he's run up against is 1) a force to reckon with, and 2) going to be vitally important to him. He recognizes that she is a hellova lot more than she seems, and encourages her strength and development of her abilities. I like the alternative universe/world building, and the main magical principals on this plane make logical sense and hold together.

First, let me say that I've read everything Ilona Andrews has written - twice. I was still nervous about a new series considering I've fallen in love with other PNR/ UF series and when the authors started new series I've been "meh." Turns out, I loved the worlds they built, not the authors. Here, I love the author(s). I might even say that the Hidden Legacy world might be my favorite. I think it has the best of the Edge and the Kate Daniels series. They took the magic and the family dynamic from the Edge (the authors write kooky extended families very well) and the bada$$ super couple from Kate Daniels and merged them into a terrific book. The weaponry/ military talk gives it an edge that other "PNR"/ UF series don't have, in fact, I regularly recommend Kate Daniels to male readers, and I will do the same for this. "Ignore the cover," I'll say. "This isn't a romance."

And this brings me to why I put "PNR" in quotes. Some people are saying the lack of romance is a good thing, some are saying it's a bad thing. Personally, I found the relationship perfect. Just enough steaminess and tension to make conflict conflict-ier, but the banter is perfect between Mad Rogan and Nevada and Nevada's (understandable) reservations about jumping into bed with a psychopath made the whole book super-enjoyable for me. I loved the part where she threw something at his forehead after he came onto her. I can't wait to see where these two develop, a la Kate & Curran.

There's only nitpicky thing I'll point out (and I did it in this review and I hate myself for it). The hero's name is Connor "Mad" Rogan. Everyone calls him Mad Rogan. Both names. All the time. Even when Nevada's thinking of him, it's mostly "Mad Rogan", occasionally it's Rogan. It would just draw me out of the story after a while because when I'm attracted to someone, let alone working with them, I don't call them by their nickname and last name. It's such a tiny little itty bitty thing and if that's the only negative I have about this book, then it's pretty darn good.

Sooooo good! It has plot twists, amazing character buildup, steam and tons of action. This book had everything I’ve been looking for. This book over delivered and shocked me. I loved that there were no paragraphs that went on and on with unnecessary details... oh no.... there was none of that. Everything was essential and interesting and ‘to the point’. It was fast paced but detailed, and kept you hooked the whole time AND soooo enjoyable. READ IT NOW!

Another great story by Ilona Andrews. I like that the characters develop as the story unfolds and that some turn out to be much better people than they appear at first. The mood is more than just suspenseful, it changes and develops as the story does. In places it can be dark and other places it light hearted and witty. I really hope this will lead to another long series. It has action, an interesting storyline as well as a plot that seems to get more entwined as the story develops. I always find it hard to wait for this author to finish the next book in all the series that she has written. If the next one in this series is like the first book, it's well worth the wait.

I really enjoyed this book. Very cool alternate universe/reality where magic is developed in humans via a serum, and that in turn creates clans of magic-wielding power humans. Our heroine is placed in a precarious position and must use grit and determination to extricate herself, despite many obstacles that litter her path. I have read the Kate Daniel's series by the same author couple, and love that series too. I love their ability to engage a heart-wrenching connection to the protagonist via some insane/impossible obstacle that you fully want the heroine to overcome and rejoice when they do. Loved reading this book so much! If you liked this book, check out their other series - The Edge, Kate Daniels and their short stories/novellas. Very entertaining.

Ilona Andres gets 4 stars for this book because this writing team is better than just about any other author in this type of genre fiction out there. But they only get 2 stars from me when compared to themselves. This book just wasn't up to snuff compared with their other series, like Kate Daniels. The storytelling in BURN FOR ME is still pretty good, but the writing lacked the usual creative snap that I've come to expect from this writing team. It verged on cliche in spots ("lit up like fireworks"), and I found I had no trouble setting this book down when it was time to go to bed. I also don't feel like the two main characters really drew me in. I was kind of ho hum about what would happen next with them. Not sure if I will continue with the Hidden Legacy series.

Very hardcore, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had not realized what kind of story this was. I thought romance and because of the other books I had read by ilona andrews, I thought it might be a readable romance. I. Will probably read it again...

Well written and compelling, just don't listen to the audible version. The female narrator has a very disturbing lisp. Many interior s sounds and most final s sounds were pronouced like the s in the word leisure. It was very off- putting for me. After purchasing the audible version for my long commute I had to read it a yeah. I will definitely never buy a sound recording by Renee R again.

I have enjoyed every story written by this author team and this series opener did not disappoint. Nevada, the female lead, is young but honorable and devoted to her family. As the head of their detective agency she helps support her quirky relatives and has become the family leader as well, though her mechanic grandmother can still "throw down" family law if she wants. She meets Connor, a man of mysterious motivation and great power, as they end up converging on the same case.

Andrews does an excellent job of revealing the setting in a way that is completely natural with the help of a very brief prologue. The attraction between Nevada and Connor is luscious without slowing down or overpowering the exciting action sequences. I dove into the book and didn't come up for air until the last page. I will be reading this one again until I can get my hands on the next book in the series.

Just a hint of sex. Interesting storyline. This is a start to a good new series.

Nevada Baylor is the licensed PI for her family's business which is mortgaged up to the hilt due to her father's illness. Her mother is an ex military sharp shooter who cannot operate normally due to leg damage. Sisters and cousins still to young to help professionally. MII OWNS their mortgage and just assigned her company to bring in a Prime pluralistic bad boy who loves to burn things.

Having to work with another strong Prime telekinetic who worked for the military, Nevada is going to have to try to keep herself and her family alive to bring in this fire starting bad boy. In the mean time fighting her attraction to the military strong man who has taken an interest in the fire starter.

The world building is great, the story captures your interest, the romance building is slow but intense, I love romance and sexual chemistry but I don't like it when it takes over the story. The mix is just right. I read for a great story not sex scene after sex scene, this was a great story with a hot romance. The reason I bring this up is I read reviews for this reason, I love Faith Hunter, the best books with a story to tell not just sex. I love to find authors with this mix. If you like urban magic fantasy whatever you want to call it, this is a great start to a series, now I have to wait for next one...good news is faith hunters new series just released on the 2nd next on my to read list!

Was a bit skeptical about reading a new series when I am firmly entrenched in the world of their other series, with Kate Daniels. I thought that burn for me would sound the same with just different names and places inserted. I was wrong. The Andrews have set up this new world beautifully and outlined a totally different political and caste system. There was a ton of action but you didn't feel as if you were left behind or that it went too fast. There was still a lovely developing of the characters and I can't wait to see what happens next. However if the next book in this series comes out around the same time a new Kate Daniels book then I can't promise which I will read first! However, I will definitely be reading both!

I winced, and nearly put it aside. Despite loving other things written by the team, the blurb left me wondering. However, once I was a few pages in I knew that I would read it - and kept reading until I had devoured it in 5 hours.
The characterization is what keeps everyone coming back. You care about the main character. The others are interesting. Personally, I LIKE Grandma!
I disagree that "Mad" is stereotyped. I think there is a lot of room in the series for him to continue his despicable behavior of kidnapping, etc,, and being willing to kill/torture/leave in ruins people. This includes our heroine, as she is turning him down. I m sure the plot will have lot of twists.
It is worth reading, ad of taking a chance on the next book, when it comes out.

Reading a newly released Ilona Andrews book is a double edged sword. It's always well written, interesting and tends to suck you in. On the other hand, I always want MORE and unfortunately every book has to end, and then I have to wait for another :(

Burn For Me is a new venture for the writing team. It's set in a new world, different from the Kate Daniels World, as well as the world of The Edge. The only common thread is magic use. However like the other two worlds, the Hidden Legacy World is well thought out and explained very well. I was never confused.

As for the story, fans of their other stories will see the common traits of a strong female heroine carrying a lot of responsibility on her shoulders with a tight-knit family and a logical way of looking at the world so she is never tstl. The hero is also a powerful psychopath. However Nevada and Mad Rogan are not Kate and Curran reworked for a new world, they are completely their own characters.

I can't wait to read the next story and see how all the loose threads that hadn't been tied up play out. I already have some guesses based on various clues the authors threw out, but I'm excited to see if I'm right. Waiting will be so hard, good thing a novella is coming out next month lol.

There are already 321 reviews and this book was just released, but I still had to take a moment to express my appreciation for this new series. Kate Daniels has been my all time favorite series, and now that it is close to the end, I am delighted that there is another new series that has begun. There is a preview at the end of this book, for the next in the series, and I am already anticipating it's release. There is no need for me to summarize, with all the other reviews, but I did want to comment on what one reviewer said about this not being a romance. I believe it to be a matter of interpretation. If your idea of romance is erotica, then no it is not. If your idea is a slow, realistic, sensual build to epic love (like Kate and Curran), then yes it is very much a romance.

I loved the concept of magic development and it's place in the modern world. As a Texas girl I can't help but love seeing a re-imagined Houston. What does aggravate me is leaving small connecting words like "the" and "it" out of sentences. Nothing pulls me out of a story faster than having to stop and figure out what the sentence was supposed to say. I love Ilona Andrews and know she has the support to avoid these errors. I almost deducted a star for reader aggravation but the story and characters themselves won the day. Be warned, while the story is complete in itself, it is part of an arc with essential elements left to be continued.

Great start to a new series. - No spoilers
I wasn't sure if I'd like this series or not. I'm really partial to the Magic series. But I have to say it was pretty good. Totally different world than in Magic. There is still a strong female lead (which is awesome) and the addition of her family was nice. They bring a lot of entertaining moments - especially grandma. At this point I'm not really sure how I feel about he lead male. He is really an anti-hero. Since you only see him from her point of few he comes across as spoiled and egotistical at times. There were moments that he was almost unlikeable. Although at the end of the book you get a sneak peek into his thoughts and it looks like that's fixing to change.
I'm looking forward to the next book.

I have loved Ilona Andrews since the Kate Daniels series. I was excited when I saw that they were writing a new series!! I was hooked right from the start. I enjoyed the fact that it was a totally different world from the Kate Daniels and Edge series. Nevada is a great character who is head strong and has a big heart. Rogan is also a wonderful character who has lived a crazy life and who is intrigued by Nevada. Together they are hunting for the same person, although for different reasons. I love the fact that Nevada doesn't lose herself (just her consentration) when alpha male Rogan is around. The ending left me excited and disappointed that the next book isn't out yet, there are still A LOT of unanswered questions!

Wow! What a ride! My first Ilona Andrews book! It's been a long time since my eyes had hurt so badly because of so much reading. I'm a reading addicted but I like to take breaks when I read. Well, I could not do it with this book! It blew my mind! Crazy good characters; action packed; perfect romantic scenes placed at the exact place and the perfect time; terrific magic world; powerful women, and of course, handsome men! LOL What an amazing world to escape into! I will definitively read it again and again till the next Hidden Legacy comes out! Thank you Ilona Andrews for helping me escape in a dream world even if it was only for a few hundred pages! Oh, and yes, no vampires, no werewolves, and no fae stuff! Simply brilliant!

I love the Kate Daniels series by Ilona and Gordon Andrews. While I did not have the same appreciation for the Edge series, I belive this duo is one of the most talented urban fantasy and paranormal romance writers out there, and I am happy that they have been able to replicate the success of the Kate Daniels with the Hidden Legacy/Burn For Me. I do not write the store reviews often, but I have a selfish reason for writing this one: I loved Hidden Legacy Book 1 / Burn For Me so much, that I would like to make sure the authors publisher knows that this series beginning and it will have a following. The book is well written, the plot is interesting, and the main characters have been developed and have depth - something that is often lacking in many UF and PR series today. I have read other books of similar genre, by authors such as Patricia Briggs, Kresley Cole, Jeaniene Frost, Nalini Singh and J.R. Ward, and I can honestly say that I think this book - and future series - is one of the most promising I had the pleasure to read in a while. I stayed up until 3 a.m. yesterday to finish reading this book, and I work full time - that should tell anyone reading this everything you need to know.

Ms Andrews gets better with each book. She seduces with her prose without offending your sensibilities. Her story lines are sharp and concise without having to fill with prurient content. She plays your emotions like a whirlwind, but what a ride! Do yourself a favor, indulge and read this first book of three in this series and you will be hooked into reading everything she has written, like I have. Well worth the investment in reading pleasure.

Ilona Andrews promised this as an expansion into the world of Silver Shark (Kinsmen Series Book 2) and Silent Blade (Kinsmen Series Book 1). Both of these novella's I loved as they were so different from Ilona's other books. This did not disappoint. It's well written, the characters are fully developed and I think I'm going to love finding out more about what makes them tick, the world is wonderfully complex and unique. The only real down side to me, is that I have to wait until 2017 to get the sequels.

Ps. About my title, apparently there was some heated discussion about the cover art, and when Ilona presented her release schedule for White Hot and the one after she did say that they took the cover criticisms into account and will be re-issuing Burn for Me with a new cover.

Worthy new series to add to the Andrews' quality lineup - although I hate the cover that will keep guys from buying it thinking it is romance-based rather than the action-based UF book that it is. The new characters are as entertaining and complex as those in the extraordinary Kate Daniels series. Nevada Baylor is not just a Kate-clone though. She is quite different from Kate, yet very compelling. She, too, has a powerful secret that she is keeping, although hers is more inadvertent. Connor (Mad) Rogan is as powerful in his own way as Curran. They make a fun and dangerous team. Clearly, fireworks are coming although that will happen in #2, I suppose. A great start to the series.

Burn For Me by Ilona Andrews was excellent. I loved it, and I will speak more on what I loved in a few minutes, but first, I must mock.

The cover and the title of this book makes me want to die. It's a miracle I read it at all, because it looks like a bad romance novel. It's not a bad romance novel. It's a good book with an element of romance (though it is by no means the focus), however you would never know that from the front. Look at it. Be a little disgusted with me. Why is his shirt half-off? I would understand a little better if he were simply shirtless, but it slid off his shoulders! Why? And her outfit is torn. I don't understand. I hate it. I love the Andrews but this makes me cringe. Apparently there was a rejected cover, and I like it much better. It shows the relationship between the two main characters and doesn't make me want to cry.

The story follows Nevada, a private investigator, who is sent on a suicide mission to bring a pyromaniac back to his family.

I enjoyed the witty back-and-forth which is a signature of Ilona Andrews novels. I also enjoyed the world that she placed us in this time. Her world-building skills are excellent and I always get sucked in.

Nevada was a plucky heroine reminiscent of Veronica Mars. She was logical enough to know she needed help, but wary enough to arm herself accordingly. Within 24 hours of meeting Mad Rogan she gets these shocks implanted in her so she could incapacitate him should she need to. I was impressed.

Rogan was...interesting. Not my favorite hero, but I sense that he will become better with time. The next book is high on my list of anticipated novels of this year.

If paranormal romance is your thing, or if you're a fan of Ilona's but hesitated at this new series, pick this up. You'll like it, I promise.

I am totally captivated by the main characters. The world building is clever, intriguing and often brutal, the plot is fascinating but the presence of Nevada and Rogan is enthralling. The tension is sexual, sensual and romantic all in one. This series is magic and in it magic is given another level and I have been caught in the web of enchantment and am already halfway through the next book.
