Novel Ties MRS Frisby & the Rats of Nimh a Study

The cover art shipping now (July '08) is the beige one in the alternate images -- a useless and dull cover compared with the exciting view of Mrs. Frisby and the crow Jeremy against blue on display at this page. I wish I'd bought this in a bookstore instead, and might have had another choice of cover art. At least the interior art is the excellent classic version.

A storytelling masterpiece that has stood the test of time. I highly recommend this book to any reader that loves an imaginative story that simultaneously entertains and asks some big questions about the society we live in.

This was an amazing book. Young readers adults and children would love it. I got this book for school work and actually realised that it was really nice to read. All u readers out there that love adventures will love this book.

I had only seen the movie before reading this book. The book, as usual, goes into more depth and is more complex than the movie. I think they complement each other well. I finished the book in one sitting.

the book is a childhood favorite, better than the movie, and even romanticize reading. without spoiling it, the book has a major turning point when the heros of the story laern how to read and become a powerful force. the rats of nimh are examples of team work, history, and heroism. this children book will excite the minds of all young readers and create a healthy imagination.
