Compelled me to read just one more chapter then I could put it down, or so I thought. I just kept reading, and to think my friend had recommended it months ago and I was putting it off because I thought it was going to be "too technical".
We really must do something about the dark money tho-

Was glad to "meet up" with Jackson Bryant again and look forward to his next adventure. This book is very suspenseful and also very addicting. It's one of those books that you don't want to end. It's very well-written and the characters and situations are very "true to life". If you like John Grisham books, then you will like Larry Thompson's books as well as those but probably more! I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys legal suspense novels.

In this accurate depiction of the law enforcement process, security professionals, cops and prosecutors honorably prevail over the bad boys and girls. Thompson is careful not to accept the common and unfortunate view that his good guys are more often flawed and bungling while perps are simply misguided in their principles and zeal for their evil means and ends. The author's legal editorials sprinkled in the book are subject to arguably honest dispute. An enjoyable read!
Murder Notes (Lilah Love Book 1) :: How Creating Value for Others Built One of the World's Most Successful Companies :: The Deep History of the Radical Right's Stealth Plan for America :: How Market-Based Management Built the World's Largest Private Company :: The Rise of the Machine Traders and the Rigging of the U.S. Stock Market

Finally, another novel by Larry Thompson! His 5th in a string of page-turners, Dark Money moves likes it is turbo-charged. Once again, Larry crafts a plot from current events. His characters spring to life and Jack Bryant feels like an old friend. I can't wait for his next book.

A real page turner. Well written about a pertinent subject-Super Pacs and all the underhanded, even murderous dealings with politics. Very valid description of Texas and its political transformation in the last century as only a Texan and a knowledgeable lawyer could write it.

Just finished "Dark Money" in record time. Just couldn't put it down. Maybe the best of his 5 and all of the others were great. His

attention to details is fantastic and makes the story so believable. Surely would make a intriguing movie.

Excellent journey into the dark side of politics. Thought-provoking and entertaining. Whether you're into politics, or not, this deep and twisted plot will hold your attention and make you question everything you think you know.

As always, this book kept my interest and educated me as to the details needed to support a case. Being from Fort Worth, I especially enjoyed references to our city. Good reading--I suggest you read it too.
