For all those Jeffrey Deaver fans, especially the Lincoln Rhymes ones, this is another can't-put-down, twists and turns, unexpected surprises plot. I don't know how Deaver keeps doing it, but he certainly has it right.

Always a fan of Jeffery Deaver, this latest Lincoln Rhyme thriller continues to impress and held my attention to the very last paragraph!
The plot was intriguing and saw Rhyme depart the confines of his town house to investigate forensic evidence in the Bahamas.
The introduction of a character devoted to food preparation in tandem with killing was a different approach and quite chilling.

With plots and sub-plots the story is riveting and for fans of Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs it is a must-read.

As usual, common sense & hard core investigative principles solve a complicated story with new intelligence technology. The tried & true common sense prevails over techno-babble but the new stuff meshes nicely with established principles.

The Lincoln Rhyme stories are a favorite of mine. This one was particularly appropriate for right now. I believe some things are happening and going on that we, the general public, might want to question. I quick read for me that I enjoyed.

This book added dimension to Lincoln Rhyme, taking him out of his comfort zone and back into the world. It also brought added depth to Rhyme's other relationships while still being a great mystery/ thriller. I would recommend this to everyone.

Readers on Linclon Rhyme books will not be disappointed by this new Deaver novel. I like the fact that Lincolm actually leaves the US to help solve a crime. It also reflects his vulnerability. I would recommend this book to all.

A good dependable read can always be relied on from this author. While quite a change to the norm for Lincoln Rhyme traveling, it added a different spin to the story line. Full of intrigue, lots of detail and a good story line.

As is usual, well organized and superbly written. Fans of the series will find the usual banter between the good guys and some very satisfying twists and turns that lead in the wrong
Direction. Think you have it figured out? Think again and then the evidence is explained and you wonder how you missed the target. Always follow the white board. Fun read!

Having been a Jeffery Deaver fan for a long time, and having heard him lecture in person once, I wait with bated breath for his next book to come out. I am especially fond of the Lincoln Rhyme series, but love them all. After reading all of his books, you would think he wouldn't be able to "get" me with his triple surprise endings any more, but he's still got it!

Very good, as all Jeffery Deaver novels are. Possibly a tad preachy, and more political than I usually like, but still a good read. And I know that Lincoln Rhyme (and probably Mr. Denver) would disapprove of my grammar.

Deaver gives his devoted readers a more complicated plot filled with a greater development of the usual characters who work hard to unravel the mix of clues and red herrings throughout the story. A story whose backdrop of ethics, military, politics and patriotism asks difficult questions Deaver leaves the reader to answer.

The question is not how suspenseful the novel is, but does this kind of weaponry actually exist and is it really being used by America. It sustains the level expected of Lincoln Rhyme and Jeffery Deaver

Deaver is one of my favourite authors. He makes me truly care for the characters, especially Sachs and Rhyme. I love the way his words, sentences and paragraphs flow along. I didn't like the gory details of the villain butcher so I skipped over those parts. So, what happens next? Does Sachs go back to her job? Will Rhyme do more travelling? Will he get a visit from the Nassau Police officer? How long do I have to wait?

Kill Room deviates from the usual forensic crime scene examination drill and broadens the story to include government intrigue and high-tech weaponry. While the same characters are front and center interesting outsiders add to the mystery.

A solid addition to the Lincoln Rhyme collection!

Never get tired of reading the next Deaver book. This one is no different. Just when you think you know what is happening something takes you by surprise. The only thing I dislike about the Rhyme books are that they are so good I never want to put them down and end up finishing the book with a year or so to wait for the next Rhyme adventure and this book was definitely an Adventure for Rhyme

Most of Deaver's Rhyme series focuses on forensics and tracking down one suspect. This plot, like one of the multi-ingredient recipes detailed in the story, has too many alleged villains. And the forensics? They are withheld (until the reader is forced to wade through pages of summarized case facts). What has made Deaver's fiction enjoyable is his ability to sow small details that seem innocuous until a plot twist is revealed. Breaking this rule, several times plot twists occur with no way to predict them. Good to see Rhyme get out of the house and actually have his life endangered, but thought the ending didn't do the character justice (no spoiler). Looking forward to the October List and seeing what Deaver can do again when not constrained by the formula of this series.

Deaver always lets you think you have figured "it out", but then the twist comes, and you have to rethink the whole plot. But you don't have to re-evaluate the relationships between the main characters.

I have always liked Jeffery Deaver's books. I was glad to see Lincoln Rhymes back to work. He has always been a fascinating character to me. If you have liked his books in the past, you will enjoy this one.

Deaver continues to expand on Lincoln Rhymes ability to solve any crime brought to his NYC digs. This was a particularly fun book as Lincoln goes beyond his comfort zone by leaving the country to 'walk the scene'.
