My professor was using a different version, but the material was virtually the same. Its crazy: they change a few works, call it their own "edition" and jack up the prices. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the best 50 cents I ever spent.

I bought this book used and amazingly, it came in outstanding condition,! While there is a more recent edition, this textbook was the one my professor was still working with. Happy that I could find it at just a fraction of the price.

The book itself was great although it didn't come with an access card. After calling customer service, I learned that access cards rarely come with used books and getting one with a rental book is quite rare. Knowing this ahead of time would have been beneficial.

This amazing book will open the doors of understanding to the world of cellular biology. Whether an avid student seeking clarity or someone who hasn't studied biology in twenty years, this book belongs in every home library. A+++

A clear and concise approach to biology and its systems is such a relief to the garbled books who try to have a systematic approach but fail,whereas Freeman's Biological Science get to grips with the underlying science,refreshing and excellent.

The book was in excellent condition. Although it was used, you couldn't tell because it seemed like a brand new book. No marks or scratches on the exterior and not a single mark within the book contents. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
