Yes, I like text and 3-ring binder format of the pages is awesome, however; there is one big problem. The book is missing pages 49-76, which was a big problem as these pages encompassed the information on my first quiz. Not happy!

Wonderful book! Very clear, a lot of simple analogies which help you understand complicated concepts and processes (homologous pairs of chromosomes compared to a pair of shoes - ingenious! LOL), a lot of pictures and many different interesting facts. This is a great book! I am really enjoying it! I don't remember any other college books that made me so interested in the subject as this one! Recommend it to everyone!

it came wrapped in plastic and looking brand new. I read that other peoples Mastering Biology codes didnt work, and ive been warned specifically not to buy from the store. But mine did work. overall happy with this transaction

I needed this book for school. It is easy reading for the most part. The pictures are nicely done. This book helps explain biology and physiology on every level. This book is so easy to leaf through that I will be able to use it as reference material in my future health classes.

It was slightly more worn than the description made it out to be. Also it was not a regular soft cover book. It was bound with plastic rings. Overall it is still a good product but the binding did make it kind of hard to read/study.

i bought this thinking it included the access code , but it didn't have it i had to purchace the loose leaf that it did indicated in the title that it came with access code. great condition but sadly sending it back.

As most college level Science books go ((at least for my area)) this one is largely cut and dry. While there are plenty of colorful images spread throughout the book, the author goes on and on and reading it gets really old, really fast. But most people are not going to be purchasing this book unless they are taking the course that goes along with it. Good luck reading it.

The book was way cheaper than buying it at my college's bookstore. I got the book in record time which was great because my class was starting within the week. The book arrived in excellent condition as expected since it was brand new. Very happy with the deal!

I bought this text for a college course and it most definitely is written at a Jr. High School level. I found myself constantly having to look to the internet to further elaborate on concepts that I would have expected to be able to find in this book. Have heard my school plans to change this book in the coming semesters.

I guess it would have been okay, but my professor said we didn't need the book. It was a waste of money for me to purchase this book, through no fault of the store. This is not the first time I have taken a course and purchased a book, only to find it wasn't needed for the course. It's a shame the way some schools make you buy a book, and the class doesn't necessary require you to read the book. Or you can follow the course from online content.

it had note stating that that when the person before me got it was in week condition and he ad a couple paged brake free from binding, and the cover is turning up. Need less to say they pages are there but not attached.very used . when i thought about purchase it to keep the price was 119 i don't think thats a fair estimation of the condition. i would say 20.00 at top more then the 51. i already paid for a" gently used" book. well worn, or battered would have described it better.

It was obvious that this book was used when it arrived, but it was still in fine shape. It also arrived a day earlier than I had expected (which, in turn, was supposed to be the earliest date for delivery).

The content is useful and easy to understand - which is saying something, because I'm not a science major of any sort. I recommend this textbook.

I thought I was getting a great deal by ordering this textbook on the store. There was a reason why the price was $70 less than what my school's online bookstore wanted to charge. This copy does not include the access codes which I didn't know was required until my son needed it for class. I had to purchase the standalone access card for $69 plus expedited shipping because school had already started.

This book was advertised that it comes with the access to the online companion materials but there is no code with the book or any way to access this information so the book is useless and cannot be used for my daughters biology class. We have to buy the same book but with the code from the book store for almost $200! I would like the vender of this book to tell me how to use the book I purchased from them (access code)!

The book was received in 2 pieces with the cover completely unglued from the text portion of the book. Don't know what to do with it the pieces except to glue the thing together again! I am very very disappointed with the purchase.

Bought this book bc i am a college student and i was looking for cheap books. i recieved it in perfect condition and in a good amount of time. i always try to order my school books through the store. no issues so far.

When you buy a new text book from a store it usually includes the internet lab codes. the store did not supply this with my NEW book and I had to buy it separately. This should be spelled out so you know what you are getting up front.

Recieved book four weeks after ordering. Needed to return but their return policy was awful (even though the book wasn't opened nor was the shrink wrap removed) and I will be selling the book on my own. Wouldn't buy from them again.

The loose pages were in good shape, but the binder was old torn up and taped with masking tape, not making a very good impression. I feel I should have paid less for this book, considering its presentation.

I ordered this book but WITH the lab codes and guess what? They did not work. If you need the lab codes for your class DO NOT buy from the store, they are charging you for something that doesn't even work! The book was fine but I ordered it for the lab codes and was more than upset when I had to rebuy the codes for $50.

Fast shipping, everything here in good condition. Definitely going to order more items from this user. Wasn't to concerned about the cover or pages, i just needed it worthy of my teachers expectations(: && it was great.
