I'm absolutely hooked on the Condemned series and the latest installment is in my eyes simply outstanding. We come in six months from book three and the healing has somewhat begun. Alex and Rafe are finally reunited but they have many obstacles to overcome. I love Jax and hope he gets closure or his own series. Then there is Zach I want him to pay but I understand Alex. So many things go through our heads while we all feel their psychological warfare and hope they just live to love another day. Cannot wait for book five !!!

I will start by saying: I loved this Series! Gemma James your writing ROCKS!

Vagrant did not disappoint. Rafe and Alex compliment each other in a sick twisted but loving way. They each know what the other can handle and they look out for each other in such a manner that makes you fall in love with each of them even more. There are some dark and twisted things that happen in the book, but that is what is to be expected. I won't lie when I say there were a couple of times I wanted to through my Kindle across the room out of frustration with Rafe and with Alex. I questioned the choices they each made a few times, but then come back to reality and move on to the next chapter. I would really like to see if something could be written about Jax, he has had a really rough life and has been through thick and thin with Rafe, it would be nice to see something good happen for him.

I will end with saying I am sad that this Series is complete, however it was well worth the ride!

I did get a free copy of the book in advance from the Author, however that doesn't change how I feel about the book or series. It was still an awesome read.

This story was so incredible and mind-blowing at the same time. I never knew where the story was headed and I loved that. This is the final book in the series and yes you need to read the other books in order to see where this story begins and it will help explain a lot that happens. This is not your usual standard romance. There is nothing vanilla or plain about this couple. Rafe has been through so much and it drives his anger and makes him the man that he is. He is a little twisted and dark. He is my kind of people. Alex is still struggling with the past and her role in it. Just when you think all is lost Rafe appears and once again we are on the roller coaster. This was the last book in the series and possibly the best. It was surprising, sexy and shocking all at the same time. My favorite part is that it is told in each ones POV and this adds a lot to a story in my opinion. This story was well written and the characters were absolutely perfectly brought to life. I recommend this book to everyone looking for something a little different but satisfying.

Vagrant is the fourth book in the Condemned series. It can not be read as a standalone, you must read the first three before starting this one. Vagrant is the conclusion to Rafe and Alex's story. I loved reading it but I'm a little sad to see their story come to an end. It's told in the dual POV of Rafe and Alex. I love dual POVs because you get to read what both characters are thinking.

In the beginning Rafe still hasn't come back and it's a little emotional reading what Alex is going through without him. With the threat of Zach possible being able to go after Alex again, Rafe reappears. It doesn't take long for Rafe and Alex to pick up where they left off. They both enjoy pain and feed off it so they are some graphic scene that might not be fit for the faint of heart. Of course there is more trouble for Rafe and Alex.

We get more Jax too. Jax have a great friendship with Rafe.

This is a great series. If you haven't started this series yet, you definitely should.

This book picks up where book three left us shattered.
This book finally calms down in the Dark and Gritty department. But I assure you it doesn't calm down the plotting.
Alex has to make a life for herself at the way book three left us. Was she able to do that?? Has she finally gained independence on her own??
Rafe, he's just been through so much. It's amazing what a justice system can turn an innocent man into. Can Rafe tame that monster and finally live a life in some light without all that darkness constantly torturing his soul??
You'll get these answers and more in this book.
There is one part I didn't get my answers to. And it involves one of my favorite side characters that I came to love as much as Rafe and Alex.
So will this be it for these characters or will Ms. James give us more?? Frankly, I could be happy the way everything tied up. Why wouldn't I want more though? Theses books and characters have a story I won't forget anytime soon.
I would recommend these books.

I am just reviewing the whole series here because when I read it all four books were ready to be read. Again a dark, dark romance with such twists and turns. The surprise twists throughout this series never quits. Yes, Alex sent an innocent man to prison, Rafe which was terrible and no matter how young she was no excuse. Her stepbrother is disgusting and then you find out about her stepfather is the lowest form of a human being. But the ending of this dark romance was terrific and kept you the edge of your seat till the great ending.

A culmination of all that happened in the first three books, but not as explosive I'm sad to say. While this couple still burned up my kindle with their dark deliciousness, pushing limits and breaking their own barriers, it felt as if something was missing. While I still enjoyed it, it seemed to veer more into the emotions of the couple rather than tying up loose ends, which was ok. Still an amazingly dark and twisted series that will remain with me for a long time!!!

This last book was everything. All the trials and tribulations, all the trauma and abuse, all the torture and slaying all comes to the Dark Love that is Rafe and Alex. I loved every part of their adventure and am sad to see it end. Their love is all consuming and Rafe Mason you are the Master for Dark and sadistic. No one does dark that has you begging for more like Gemma James.

From the deepest, darkest hinges of filth, they come together in the best of ways. Truths revealed. Anger diminished, self-loathing a work-in-progress. Demons of their pasts, who knows. Let your imagination run wild. These two made it through the worst and plunged into the darkness together!

Freaking awesome last book and highly recommend this series if the genre entertains you. It's a break from today's disturbances and into the minds of fictional characters.

I loved reading the first 3 books. They were dark and gritty. This book was more tamed. There are still steamy scenes but it didn't have the dark aspect the first three books had. I still liked it. I can't get enough of Rage and Alex.

Alex and Rafe's story continues in this amazing raw story of love, emotion, revenge, escape, worth and so much more! I have read each book in this series and I just can't get enough! It's had me ever since I started the first page and will continue to keep me until the end!
The struggle, life and kink in this series will bring you in and hold you until you can't fight anymore to quit reading!
Amazing, raw, powerful, exciting and freaking intriguing are just a few words to explain this book!

Slightly... still think a lot is redundant. But this one had a little more meat on the bone than just messed up sex scenes which made it better. Plus Alex is finally showing something besides being a spineless twerp.

I love this series. It was a great conclusion but I was left with a couple questions. What about Jax? I did like the fact the Rafe regained his memory but couldn't he keep just a tiny bit of the softer side he had when he had amnesia...even just before his injury? He just seemed more brutal after he was "whole" again. but since that's what Alex craved and loved then that's fine. I may not have loved it as much as the rest of the series but still enjoyed the read.

I really loved this series!! Rafe is the darkest character that I have so far come across and he pushes your comfort level. I was happy to see Alex start to stand up for herself in this last book. I really hope Jax gets his own book!! This read went way too fast and I'm sad that its done!!

This book had my emotions all over the place, first I was angry at Race and Alex, then I was happy and then I wanted to go in that book and beat the shell out of certain people lol?? but I must say it is entirely enticing and keeps you wanting more. I'm not going to spoil it for other readers because I want them to read it for themselves. Great job Gemma James

really liked this series, even though i feel like things were left unresolved. i might have given the series 5 stars except on the book's playlist at the end, the author lists the smells like teen spirit cover by tori amos...no respect there because we all know that the only version of that song is the nirvana original. still worth the read

I was going through so many emotions when reading this book. It excited me , made me mad, very happy, and sad. This book kept me on my toes wonting more each bit I read. This book ended well I could always use more of Rafe and Alex and more of Jax even to read about but this book let me end the serial on a note that let me feel it was finished. I was shocked to find out what had went down with the fight.

Vagrant is the 4th and final in the Condemned Series about Rafe and Alex's love. This is a dark story but if you like dark its a must read. You will rate Rafe, love Rafe and hate him some more. I think Vagrant is the best in the series and the series is a must read.
