I read this book while I crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a Cruise ship. I was so mesmerized with the detail and flow of the action in this book, I was often late for events on the ship. This, as all are of Alex Berenson's books, is a great read.

Entertaining if a little far fetched. If you can buy into the plot you will br entertaine . John Wells is almost super-human & somewhat beyond belief but he continues his quest for a better world.

Classic Wells. Another artfully crafted crisis by Berenson, who can spin them out with the best of them. I burned through this book in two days and never felt cheated or manipulated. Compulsive reading.

I read this twice - once for general action report, and second for international implications. The word WOLVES appears twice, both times related to brutal behavior by Russians. Yet, every country in this story (USA, UK, Israel, Russia, China) behaves brutally.
The American billionaire, who nearly manipulated countries to start a war (previous novel), made his money with casinos. He also married a beautiful super model, talented in her own right. Is this some kind of commentary on a USA presidential candidate?
The time line for Wells being out of circulation confused me - was it a month? was it several months? When Wells had 12 hours to reach Duberman, Wells stopped by another location to save the supermodel from the wolves... a very tight time line. Nevertheless, Wells always managed to be where he needed to be for collaboration and action. He ended up with a nasty broken wrist.
