Book 4), A Rogue's Proposal (Cynster Novels

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Not quite as good as Devil's Bride, the first in the Bar Cynster series, but still a good read. A much better effort than Scandal's Bride and A Rake's Vow. A shame the other members of the Bar Cynster didn't feature a bit more prominently. I look forward to the next 2 books (about Gabriel and Lucifer) that finish the initial 6 book series and the follow on books about Chillingworth (introduced in A Rogue's Proposal), Amanda, Amelia and Simon.

I thought oh no not another Cynster running away straight into his fate. I was beginning to think, are all the rest going to be the same. But Laurens pulls it off. She does seem to match her couples well and gives you enough romance, mystery, passion, and laughs to keep you reading. I won't say this is one I will keep to reread, but I glad I didn't miss this one of the series.

A Rogue's Proposal (Cynster Novels) The Fourth Cynster is a "Demon" for sure. Lock up your heart for you are about to lose it quick. He's as charming as they come and he will have his way with you. Over and over again. Caution, do not drive or operate heavy machinery to after you are done reading this one. "A Secret Love" is next and awaits you.

I found myself leafing through the book to get the story to move on. Characters were not well developed, and the comraderie, humor and intensity that existed between the main characers in Devil's bride and and Rake's vow were missing in this book. The character Dillon seemed to be a side thought. Hope the next in the series is better reading.

I absolutley loved this book! It had humor, suspence, and of course the passion that these books revolve around. Stephanie Laurens (The author) has the ability to make you feel like you are the heroine in her books. I cannot wait to read the other books in this Bar Cynster series. I recommend getting the whole series!

I found this book very entertaining. Where I thought the plotdragged on a little, the love scenes were some of the best I'veread. This was the first book in this particular series I had read, and I found it to be Ms. Laurens' best work to date.
