Sarah Dessen has done it again! This books gave me the chills. I felt all kinds of emotion while reading it: anger, sadness, happiness, etc. This story is truly captivating. A definite MUST read. I would recommend this book to any of my friends!!

This book is about a girl named Caitlin who finds a boy and falls in love. She is happy with him because he is like a distraction from all her other problems like her "perfect" sister running away from home with a boy. Caitlin's parents hold her to a higher standard now because her sister is gone. This is just one of the problems she faces. She soon sees that everything with her boyfriend is not sunshine and rainbows either.
Some positive things about this book is that it talks about sensitive topics teens can relate to. Such as drug and alcohol addictions and abusiveness. I like how it teaches the reader to not try to find happiness in people and to not try to change yourself to be liked.
Some negative things about this book would be how the story feels copied and a lot like some other books I have read with the same type of story line. Seems a little over done. Also I wish Cass was in the story a little more.
I would recommend this book to teens to read. It is good to see and understand what goes on or for teens to even be able to relate to stuff like this.

Sarah Dessen is one of my favorite authors, and i usually cant put her books down. In this book, I loved the first couple chapters, but towards the end, it seemed to really drag on. Which is very surprising for her books.

this story was amazing nothing like many of sarah dessens other books. it was mainly different because the endings usually end with the couple together but not quite this one. although it was still very lovely !
