Can't recommend this book enough. Even after a long day being *~creative~* at work, I always look forward to coming home and doing my 1 page (uhhh sometimes more like 2-3 pages.. oops) in this book. Great for keeping tabs on where your mind is, if you're into that sort of thing.

I was looking for a fun prompting journal of sorts. Well this fit the bill 100%...I love it makes me think and its fun too. I wish that it was spiral bound. For me its easier to write in it. Its a thick little book packed with all kinds of fun things to get you going on journaling & seeing the bright side of things!!

Most people seem to either preach about the way technology has brought us closer together or damn it for destroying everything from human interaction to paper books but Adam J. Kurtz is one of the rare few who effectively uses our relationship with technology to reignite our connection to the physical and one another. In his book you will find yourself posting to instagram and laughing about jokes that reference social media while simultaneously making paper lists, doodling ridiculous things, writing miniature journal entries, and tearing out pages for yourself, strangers, and friends.

So, embrace that nostalgia for your elementary school composition notebook and get ready to enjoy your "companion" as it forces the best bad jokes upon you, makes you remember to call your mom, and sometimes just gives you a blank page for some literal and figurative space.

Adam's snarky realness mixed with his brilliant design and wit make this little book your new sassy and wise best friend. There are pages for when you're just bored, pages for when you're laughing, pages for when you're crying, and pages for when you're feeling introspective. It's really the perfect gift and you should start by buying one for yourself.

This is such an amazing way to inspire some creativity in one's day. The prompts are so spontaneous and exciting. It's very refreshing and I absolutely recommend it to those wishing to take some time for themselves, to channel creativity, to try new things, to take part in a wholly witty and charming 365 days of writing, note-taking, scribbling, scratching, painting, and whatever else one could possibly think of.

This book is absolutely amazing! I picked it up today at a local bookstore instead of ordering it on the store but wanted to write a review because I want to let everyone know how amazing this book is. The prompts in this book are really original and very fun to complete. Some are serious, some are funny. You can complete this any way you want. I like to draw and paint on every page but you can also write or doodle. That is the awesomeness about this book, you can do anything you want. Even though I only did a few pages so far since I've had it for a day, this book is sort of a diary for me.

Long story short, I love this book, and if you like being creative in any way, I am sure you will too!

I got this for Christmas and have been filling it in on and off since. I love it, its a great way for me to lift my mood, sometimes when I'm in a particular lump filling out a page feels like a lot of work, but if/when I convince myself to do it, I always feel better for it. And the nature of the book is to do it in your own way on your own time. It can be as big or little or as wonderful or boring as you make it, it gives you what you put into it. That being said the framework that Adam provides you with is is pretty great all on its own, I'm constantly trying to keep myself from flipping ahead to read all the prompts, but it would ruin the surprise.

I've never been one for keeping up with journals, but I never knew 1 Page At A Time was the one I needed. This came with activities for every day for every creative mind - no artistic skills needed. It's also in black and white so you can add your own pop of color to each page. I used one for 2015 and it's great to see how you've changed each day. Until I get tired of it, I'm going to buy one every single year. Adam J. Kurtz is also very active with his users and followers on instagram and twitter. It was great tracking my journal progress with everyone else, including Adam, around the world!

I randomly found Adam on instagram (@adamjk) and saw posts about this book. I find it fun to sketch, write a quick note, contemplate whatever's on the page and for the first time in years, I'm doing something daily in a journal! I recommend this journal - and his IG page, the video of how to draw a ladder is seriously amazing. So simple and so perfect.

Highly recommended for anyone who needs something fun to keep creative and motivated-- the daily activities are super inventive and engaging. I, personally, really looked forward to completing a page (or, sometimes two, to treat myself!) every night. This book is the best!!!

I had a really crummy 2014, and following Adam JKs blog makes me smile, so I bought this in the hope it would help make my 2015 better. I've only filled a couple of pages so far (so I'm running really behind on the whole 1 page a day challenge I set myself), but I really love the way it's been done and it makes filling it out fun!
